Bulma
Bulma is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Country Club Hills, IL, who needs $1,500 for Eval, Labs, X-ray & Digestive Flush to Get Grass Out.
Country Club Hills, IL
Bulma came into our lives as a stray, and she’s been a source of healing and joy ever since. She’s never been sick before, but now she’s refusing to eat and growing weaker by the day. We’ve tried everything we can at home, but she needs to see a vet to find out what’s wrong. Our family has been through a mental health crisis with our daughter... Bulma has been there with tug play, pets and kisses. We’re hoping to get her seen at Premier Veterinary Group but the cost is more than we can afford right now. Every donation will go directly toward her diagnostics and treatment. If you can help us—whether by donating, sharing, or sending love—we’d be deeply grateful. Bulma means the world to us, and we just want to give her the chance to keep being the light she’s always been for us. I'm applying for disability, and my wife is working and going to school full-time. We're doing everything we can to build a better future for our family—but right now, property taxes have gone up and we're facing a hardship and can't manage this crisis alone.

Lola
Lola is a 8 year old Labrador Retriever in Chicago , IL, who needs $2,000 for Emergency Care.
Chicago, IL
I received Lola from a breeder in a small town in Indiana. Her mom was a silver lab and her dad was a yellow lab. She was my number one companion as I was a young college student. I had never seen such a smart dog! She learned basic and complex commands so quickly and I truly enjoyed every moment with her! Together, we moved from Charleston, IL to Chicago, IL after I graduated 7 years ago. Around 10/1, Lola lost interest in her food. We tried things to make the food more appetizing, sat in the floor to feed her by hand, and she responded well to this initially but by 10/6 she stopped eating all together. The next day she began vomiting, so we took her to the emergency vet who, after many tests, diagnosed Lola with Type 1 diabetes. Lola is so smart that I am sometimes convinced she is a human with a dog costume on. She is so friendly and energetic like most labs are. She makes everyone she meets feel like the center of her world. She loves head rubs and hates fireworks. Prior to this, we were oblivious to the cost that can come with pet emergencies and are not prepared for the upfront and ongoing cost of managing Lola's diabetes. The vet gave us two options: maintain her insulin or put her down. The latter would devastate our family.

Blue
Blue is a 8 year old Labrador Husky in country club hills, IL, who needs $2,000 for Uterus Infection Causing Her to Bleed.
country club hills, IL
My daughter wanted a puppy for her birthday so I found BLUE a husky lab mix puppy, she is black and white and she decided to name her Blue because of her Blue eyes. We been having Blue for 8 years but for the last 6 years she has been abused by my mentally ill son, whom I had to admit to the hospital, file police reports, and get an order of protection because he has been abusing Blue physically, emotionally and sexually. I had to take Blue and son Wolfie to the shelter for safety. I told them I need one day to find somewhere to go and I will come back for t them, I went the next day and they had put Wolfie down but blue was bleeding through the butt and they couldn't help her so I rushed her to a 24 hour hospital in Orland, they are charging me 6500.00 to help save her and I just don't have that kind of money, they need the money upfront. I am seeking help in every direction and can prove everything I'm saying on her, because I started a paper trail Blue is a good dog and wolfie was an amazing dog, wolfie didn't deserve to be put down because of my son abuse as for blue she still has a chance but I need help with funding. I 've ask friends and family and keep getting the same response, I wish I could help but I cant

Sir Seamus
Sir Seamus is a 5-year-old Scottish Terrier in Chicago, IL, who needs $2,000 for CHOP chemotherapy.
Chicago, IL
Sir Seamus came into my life 5 years ago as a puppy. I always desired to have a Scottish Terrier, so I was elated when he was born, and eager to bring him home. My fiance' passed away several years earlier, and Seamus became a welcome companion and catalyst to help work through the grief and loss. Seamus is the only pet in my household. He is also the only pet in my mother's household (his GiGi) and loves to spend time with her. Seamus helped my mother to overcome a lifetime of fear of dogs. Seamus's gentle and loving personality enabled her to get close to him at her own pace and overcome fear. Seamus is a friendly, patient, fun-loving dog. He loves playing in the snow, playing tug-of-war, belly rubs, and snuggling with me and his favorite "lambie" (Lamb Chop) toy. He loves people and makes strangers on the street smile as they notice his typical Scottie gait, beard and eyebrows. Seamus does not meet strangers as he seems to sense when people desire to meet him - he is always right. I received confirmation of Seamus's diagnosis of lymphoma on December 24, 2021. I took him to the vet earlier in December for the annual exam. I have been in shock since then as I do not want to even imagine life without him. We were able to get appointment with Dr. Mark Byrum, an Oncologist at Premier Veterinary Group in Orland Park, IL. I would like to take Seamus to UW - Madison for treatment. I would like to get the CHOP protocol for Seamus (chemotherapy), but emergency funds have been depleted due to COVID - 19, and a loss of job due to lay off. Treatment and having Seamus healthy would alleviate the anxiety that I have felt since receiving the diagnosis.

Oakley
Oakley is an 8-year-old Goldendoodle in Hoffman Estates, IL, who needs $1,800 for hospital stay for acute kidney failure.
Hoffman Estates, IL
Hi everyone! About 8.5 years ago, I was in a pretty serious relationship. We decided to buy a puppy and he quickly became my best friend. This relationship became very toxic and it was beginning to turn very physical. I was thrown down the stairs, held at gun point, throw a stone at my face, and Oakley and I were left on the streets. This made the bond between us stronger than you can imagine. Oakley is the sweetest, nicest, and most caring dog you will ever meet. I always said it is like he’s a wise old man in a dog body. He has been my literal protector from my abuser, my shoulder to cry on, and the best friend I’ll ever have. To know my sweet boy, is to love him. He makes everyone smile just by seeing his happy go lucky personality and cute little face. Oakley is a mama’s boy. He makes it known that mama is his favorite and he knows I would lay my life for him and he’s safe. And I feel the same way. Before he was sick, he would do anything for anybody to slide them their leftovers! Everyone that has met him has always said they don’t think he’s a dog, because he’s so thoughtful and sweet! That’s just who he is, my boy. About 2 weeks ago we noticed him drinking extra water and using the bathroom more often. Then, he started having accidents at night if we wasn’t able to go out every 2 hours. Now he is not eating anything, being lethargic, physically crying in pain, shaking, and not even be able to get up to go out anymore. Oakley was diagnosed with acute kidney failure and will need a weeks stay in the hospital. I lost my job due to Covid. I have been on 15 job interviews and applying daily so I can start work as soon as possible, but Oakley is my #1. He needs to get better and that is my top priority. This financial help would allow me to put all my energy into getting him better.
