Pebbles
Pebbles is a 6 year old American Shorthair in Birmingham, AL, who needs $2,000 for X-rays, Blood Work, and Additional Testing.
Birmingham, AL
We rescued this sweet baby girl when she was just 3 months old. She lives with me and her dad and her two other feline siblings. She is definitely the queen of the house and makes sure her little brother and sister knows it. We noticed Pebbles stopped eating and drinking a few days ago. At first we just thought she didn't like the dry food we had, but quickly realized that wasn't the case. We took her to the emergency vet and realized she had 104+ fever. She's lost weight and is very weak. Unfortunately, we were unable to get all the tests she needed at the time. She was immediately a purr machine. She loved to snuggle and sleep on your chest. She's the sweetest, silliest girl. Pebbles loves a box nap or basking in the sunlight. She is also our home's premier fly catcher. She's such an integral part of our family. Pebbles is now 6 years old and holds such a special part in our hearts. We don't know what we'd do if we lost her. Unfortunately vet services are expensive. We've been denied financial options through our vet and do not have pet insurance at the moment. We just want to get Pebbles the testing she needs so we can find treatment as quickly as possible. We appreciate anything you can give.

Frida
Frida is a 5-year-old Mix in Birmingham, AL, who needs $700 for Cancerous Tumor Removal.
Birmingham, AL
We rescued Frida right after moving 3,000 miles together. She was homeless for 3 years at the airport and right away, we fell in love. She has been the sweetest girl and 100% the reason why we made it through the pandemic. She lives in our apartment with my partner and our cat, Hamlet. She gets to go on walks every day, eats too many treats, and gets her own tortilla when we make tacos. Frida is the biggest sweetie, she loves to party and ADORES other dogs. Her best friend Milo comes over to stay sometimes... Her favorite things are squirrels and chicken (obv) Frida also has a sister, Hamlet (cat) and they've become sunbeam buddies, sharing Frida's bed by the window. Her favorite toys are her Lampchop and her Yeti As someone with anxiety, Frida has been the best support for me. Any time I am sad or anxious, she notices right away. She will snuggle and give sweet kisses for those that need it. She's very playful and has learned a few tricks, she is a little hesitant to speak but is pretty vocal when it's time to go outside! Frida started out being a really healthy girl, but she has recently had some health issues. Last September, we had to bring her in because of a seizure. The most recent seizure was only about a a week ago. We had noticed a lump by her nipple last year and the vet said to wait and watch it. Recently I saw it growing and now the vet has sampled it, finding that it is a mast tumor. We are still recovering from the Pandemic. My original job as a bartender made a lot of money but now I am working from home for less pay. My partner is getting his PhD and I am in school as well, working 2 jobs. We have exhausted savings and at this time can't get a loan.
