Mojo
Mojo is a 6 year old Pug in Pasadena, CA, who needs $314 for Comprehensive Fecal PCR Panel.
PASADENA, CA
Mojo is my beloved rescue Pug, & I am currently struggling to get her healthy yet again. Two months ago, I bought some ostrich skin chews, but upon seeing their long, stringy filaments, I decided they were unsafe. I wrapped them up to return & put on my desk. She managed to get to them while I was gone. In just 30 min. she ate them entirely and has had diarrhea and vomiting ever since. I've tried various gentle foods to try to calm her but nothing has worked. I tried graphing her meals to see what might be food causes. She has taken to eating grass. We now need to test for parasites & bacteria like Salmonella or Cryptosporidium that the ostrich treat may have introduced. Due to similar symptoms between us, I am also being tested by an ID (infectious disease) doctor. Mojo is usually very attentive & active, but lately, she just mopes & lays around. She is a brave girl who deserves to get back to her happy, energetic self & continue being the best friend I could ask for. Diarrhea for 2 months is unacceptable & as I've had the same symptoms for even longer than her, we need to see if there is a connection. There may be a ZOONOTIC (shared) cause. The images show what is happening on a daily basis. The hospital wants cash in advance. I'm living on Social Security & won't have anything until Apr 10. Mojo will have to suffer until then because of the hospital financial rules. We both need treatment at the same time. TY.

Mojo
Mojo is a 6 year old Pug in PASADENA, CA, who needs $1,120 for Mass Removal with Full Histopathology.
PASADENA, CA
I have a great little girlie named MojoDoozi, Mojo for short. She is a 5-year-old Pug, a rescue we found neglected &starving in the upper Calif. desert. She has had puppies & was used for breeding. She had no training whatsoever & little social skills, but she has proven to be an able student & loves everybody & every dog!For the last year, we’ve been monitoring a growth on her vulva that’s getting larger & now has its own blood supply. Dr. Bliefer @ Rose City Vet is concerned that if it’s not removed soon, it could become more serious & harder to treat. It needs to be surgically removed & sent to the lab for cancer testing. If it turns out to be cancerous & continues to enlarge, the vet may have to remove the entire vulva to get clean margins. There is very little healthy skin around the area. It would be a major, invasive surgery. As it is, she has a recessed vulva (partially tucked into her body, as you can see in the pictures), which has contributed to the many UTIs she has had. We’re hoping to avoid anything this extensive so she isn’t disfigured & alter the quality of her life. Photos taken 1 yr apart shows it's growing. I'm 75, can't find work since the pandemic & struggle to get by only on Social Security. I've delayed car pymts/utilities just to keep up with daily costs. The stress debilitating. But the surgery is urgent, & I simply cannot afford it on my own. Please, any amt is welcome &will help the quality of her life.

Mako
Mako is a Shiba Inu puppy in Pasadena, CA, who needs $1,500 for Stomach obstruction removal.
PASADENA, CA
Meet my Mako. Mako just turned 9 months. He is such an amazing Shiba Inu puppy and perfect addition to our family a few months ago. My kids are so in love with him, and it is tearing our hearts apart seeing him so ill. Like most silly puppies, he eats what he shouldn't. Unfortunately that resulted in emergency surgery and post-op complications:-( Mako is the first one in the house awake, and the last to go to bed. He interacts with everyone in the house, and must be a part of anything going on! Mako is very active, playful and sweet. My teen kids is incredibly awesome and caring for him. Make loves his walks, and sitting on the balcony watching the world go by. I don't think I have ever known a sweeter puppy. Yes, biased... but true. I am a divorced father with my 2 teen kids 1/2 the time. My income is ok, but these vet medical bills are crushing. Vet bill already >$5000, and growing. Mako has zero strength. He can't stand on his own. The infection is eating him up, and my family needs our puppy back. Shiba inu's shed hair a lot. We brush him almost daily & a massive amount of hair comes off. We set it aside until we are done, and we throw it away. Mako sometimes jumps on it like a toy. Last weekend, he did that and put a large amount in his mouth and swallowed it. It compacted in his stomach and intestines & stomach. Surgery was needed to remove it. Then, infection set in!:-( Mako is a red Shiba. He has cat-like mannerisms, and looks like a fox. He loves his walks and the attention he gets. He is told he looks like a little fox ALL THE TIME. While out, we can never go far without someone wanting to pet him or take photos... and, he Loves it! Mako is incredibly intuitive and intelligent, he knows how to get someone's attention!
