My Pepper was one of my post parvo foster from 9 years ago who was a great fit to my place. She had a hard time with parvo. She turned into a social butterfly and great ball fetcher. She has also blown both of her CCL's - almost a year to the date apart. Pepper was on the path to therapy dog - she could not pass the CGC certification - she was too wiggly when I had to walk away and leave her Pepper sleeps in my bed with me - under the covers too. She will nest with all the bed and pillows and lay right in the middle when it is time for me to get in. We play a game of "Wiggle, Wiggle, Freeze" as part of our bedtime routine. She has taught me how to sleep in the most uncomfortable positions. It is funny in that she is a night owl and I am an early bird. I have had some hefty household expenses recently with being furloughed from COVID-19 so need a little help in order to get Pepper fixed. Currently doing what I can and will not have enough for her surgery in time. I am looking to get this tumor - which I call a butt lump - removed. From the consult - "Given the history of a mass, the lesion is suggestive of a hepatoid (perianal gland) tumor which is generally a benign adenoma. " and "Epithelial proliferation with low atypia and hepatoid features; consistent with a perianal gland/hepatoid tumor" Pepper is great with puppies when I foster them - she is very tolerate of them and shows them routines and shows them how to dog. She also great in teaching my foster kittens that dogs are not scary. She will play fetch until my arm falls off - even after her knee surgeries. She likes to wade in any water available. She learned to swim in the middle of winter by falling in a creek.
