Kimber
Kimber is a 3 year old Rottweiler in Tucson, AZ, who needs $7,000 for TPLO.
Tucson, AZ
We had gotten Kimber after my husband lost his childhood dog. He instantly fell in love with her. Him and our two daughters picked her out, and she had been an amazing addition to our family. Kimber has a torn ACL on one side and without surgery she can injure her other leg and won’t be able to walk. We are taking her to Saguaro veterinary surgery. She is mine and my girls whole world. She is such an important part of our family. She is the biggest goofball, the best protector, and the best cuddle buddy. We have had some unexpected financial difficulties. And supporting 2 kids in this economy is definitely a struggle. But we love our girl and would do anything to help her.

Spencer
Spencer is a 8 year old Labrador Retriever in Tucson , AZ, who needs $4,500 for Right Front Leg Amputation.
Tucson, AZ
Spencer has been a very special part of my life, as well as several other people which includes our Ranch family. Spencer came into my life eight years ago after meeting my mom’s friends who live in Iowa. I had stayed with them while meeting my dad (and his family)for the first time, who was in hospice. Spencer has brought me closer with my friends and family in Iowa and for that I am grateful. Spencer had been limping. After x-rays, rest and medications were tried.. Spencer needed a CT with a bone biopsy. During the CT they found a mass in the distal portion of Spencer‘s humerus in his right front leg. Further diagnostics have been done to ensure that their cancer has not spread. It is recommended that Spencer get his leg amputated followed by chemo. Diagnosed with an osteosarcoma. Spencer has a heart of gold, a love for life and adventure. He brings joy to everyone he meets. He has been my sense of security and protector. He is an empathetic dog and senses everyone’s feelings. He is loved by our horse/4H/ and ranch community. He has been with me through the thick and thin of life. He is a bright light for me as well as for many others. He’s a lover. I recently graduated from registered nursing school. While working full-time in the emergency department as an LPN while going to school full-time, I experienced various hardships, which set me back financially as I had to call off work frequently.

Kylo
Kylo is a 6 year old Siberian Husky in Tucson, AZ, who needs $2,000 for Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy.
Tucson, AZ
Kylo is a rescue and parvo survivor from PACC. I’ve had him for a few years now along with Ava, my longtime dog, that I’ve had for over 10 years! Kylo is named after Star Wars’ Kylo Ren. Kylo has a torn cruciate ligament in his back right leg and needs surgery to be able to walk, run and play without pain again. He did not survive parvo as a baby for this to take him down! I have an initial appointment scheduled with Saguaro Veterinary Surgery. Kylo loves walks and his favorite snack is carrots. He's an athletic little guy but that doesn't stop him from getting super close for cuddles. He especially likes to rest his head on my shoulder. I often call him, "my tiny son". I just don't have $5k I can just shell out at a moments notice and I hate seeing my dog like this. I'm currently working 2 jobs and doing everything I can but, I need help. I appreciate any support. I love Kylo so much and would do anything for him.

Tallulah
Tallulah is a 2-year-old Border Collie in Tucson, AZ, who needs $2,000 for Hip Replacement.
Tucson, AZ
Tallulah came into my home after the death of my first Border Collie, Faith. I wasn't sure I was ready to love again so soon. I saw a post for Border Collie puppies and this all white puff ball with blue eyes was available. I traveled out of town to get her and fell in love. I had a brain injury in 2019. Tallulah will finish service training later this year. Tallulah is the smartest most entertaining dog I have ever had! We use talking buttons in our house. She has an "outside" button and buttons with family member names, depending on who she wants. She is with me all day everyday. Due to my medical disability, Tallulah remains by my side helping me navigate my brain injury and severe migraines. She's intuitive. Tallulah loves to play hide and seek with toys, snacks, and people. She is very talkative and expressive in the things she wants. She is loving, kind, funny, protective, silly, playful and so very smart! We put Tallulah in competitive Frisbee when she was a few months old. Thats when we learned she had hip dysplasia. She was running and her left hind leg fell under her. We knew it would progress, just not so quickly. Shes guarded when she plays. She doesn't jump anymore and she limps and struggles to get up and start walking. I don't like how meds make her feel. I am on disability. My income is fixed. Tallulah will complete service training this year. Having Tallulah up and walking with no pain means the world to me. This will allow us both to get out in nature and walk. We could travel, see the ocean, without her hurting to walk.

Clyde Nichols
Clyde Nichols is a 3-year-old Bassett & Great Dane Mix in Tucson, AZ, who needs $2,000 for TPLO Left Leg.
Tucson, AZ
2 1/2 years ago, Clyde came into our life when we needed him the most. Our 12 year old dog had brain cancer and passed away 2 weeks after diagnosis. This was all during Covid and we were heartbroken and lonely. We were told about 6 month old Clyde and immediately fell in love with him. He was rescued from a house that was hoarding many animals. Many, including Clyde, were starving. Clyde is like one of our children. He has freewill to play outside thru and doggie door or the comfort of one of his two beds that are his to choose. Clyde has many friends! we walk with a group of dog owners every day, approximately 2 miles, who are his friends. Many come to our home for sleepovers. We took Clyde to have X-rays on his legs because he was limping, primarily on his right leg. X-rays revealed both ACL's had tears and a broken femur that did not heal properly. All this before we adopted him at 6 months. I can't imagine what he went through to have these injuries. This poor thing has had so much trauma in his first 6 months. My husband and I are on social security, with a limited savings account. We did pay for the surgery on his right leg (TPLO) $6400. Now his left leg needs to be repaired and we don't know where else to turn.
