Help Veronica get Luxating patella surgery — New Haven, CT

New Haven, CT

Dior is a delightful toy poodle whose vibrant personality truly lights up any room. He's fun, energized, and has an ability to bring smiles to everyone around him. He came from Florida, and from the moment I saw his adorable face, I knew he was special. His expressive eyes made it impossible to say no he instantly stole my heart. Dior has been diagnosed with bilateral luxating patellae, with one knee being more severely affected than the other. We are planning to proceed with surgical correction on the more affected limb. The procedure will be performed at the Small Animal Surgical Service of CT. Our bond with Dior is deeply meaningful because, after the loss of our previous dog, Dior entered our lives and transformed the atmosphere of our home. What was once a quiet environment became lively and joyful, thanks to his presence. He has brought light and happiness into our family, and this is why his recovery and well-being are so important to us. We want to support him as he supported us. We are seeking support from the community because his surgery costs approximately $4,228. As this is a significant financial burden for us, we are reaching out to kindly ask for assistance. Your support would help ensure he receives the necessary care to recover fully.

Bunker

Bunker is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Wallingford, CT, who needs $2,000 for Corrective Osteotomy.

Wallingford, CT

Hi, my name is Bunker and I am only 16 months old. I'm a rescue who is so happy that I found my forever Mommy! We love each other so much. I was abandoned at 7 weeks old and with the help of a rescue I found my Mom at 6 months old. It was a big trip all by myself from Texas to Connecticut. I'm so happy to have such a great family, lots of Friends too! I'm so good and have learned that I'm home and safe We thought he played a bit to much and injured his rear legs he was not getting better. We did alot of x-rays. They showed that both growth plates in his rear legs have not closed causing his back legs to bow. They are so bowed that he needs major surgery on each leg to correct. His back legs are very bowed. Dr. White will fix my legs, he is my surgeon at Small Animal Surgical Service of CT Bunker and I met by chance, I knew when I first saw him that he stole my heart and came to be part of my family. He is such a sweet loving pup. He loves to play with his doggy cousins and loves to go for rides in the car, always happy to go anywhere! He loves to cuddle and absolutely loves to run and play ball. He needs to have 2 major surgeries, each costing about $5,000. He is so very young and I want to give him the best care so he can have a great long and healthy life. We have a lot to do together, without this surgery he won't be able to walk, run and play.
