Hendrixx

Hendrixx is a 2 year old French Bulldog in Pembroke Pines, FL, who needs $25,000 for IVDD.

Pembroke Pines, FL

Hendrixx is my French Bulldog and has been part of our family for nearly two years. He lives with me and my two children and is truly part of our everyday lives. His name, Hendrixx, reflects his big personality and the special place he holds in my heart. He is deeply bonded to our family and is rarely far from my side. Hendrixx’s February records note IVDD as the suspected condition, but I was recently told it has not been formally confirmed. He recently lost use of his back legs again. He needs evaluation by a veterinary neurologist, advanced imaging, and possibly surgery to confirm the diagnosis and determine the best treatment plan. Hendrixx is much more than a pet—he is my psychiatric service dog, my comfort, and a loved member of our family. He is affectionate, loyal, silly, and always wants to be close. My children adore him, and his presence brings calm and comfort into our home. Even while struggling physically, he still shows the same loving personality that makes him so special. I recently started a new job and had to take emergency leave when Hendrixx suddenly lost the use of his back legs. I already pay for pet insurance, but the out-of-pocket costs for a neurologist, imaging, treatment, and possible surgery are beyond what I can manage alone.

Kymber

Kymber is a 9 year old Mix-Breed in Miami, FL, who needs $14,000 for Intervertebral Disc Disease.

Miami, FL

Born in March of 2016 at a local city animal shelter in Southern Los Angeles, California, Kymber was adopted by my sister, Avary, and me in May of 2016. This adorably loving girl is friendly, full of energy, and has a sassy streak that makes me believe she may have been an actual princess in a past life. This spunky little lady enjoys days at the beach, watching The Real Housewives, and cuddling. On February 17th, 2025, Kymber, my fragile, loving, adorable 10-year-old terrier-chihuahua mix, was aggressively picked up by a "friend," resulting in a severe injury that left her back legs paralyzed. Kymber has diagnosed by a neurologist with Intervertebral Disc Disease (a spinal cord disorder that causes paralysis) by Miami's Southeast Veterinary Neurology. This adorably loving girl is friendly, full of energy, and has a sassy streak that makes me believe she may have been an actual princess in a past life. This spunky little lady enjoys days at the beach, lounging around watching The Real Housewives, playing with her best friend/brother Zayn, cuddling on the couch, eating tomatoes, and slow walks where she takes the time to smell (every) flower. Without immediate surgery, Kymber has about a 50% chance at possibly regaining mobility. With surgery, there is a 90-95% chance Kymber will walk again. The cost of the surgery is $14,000, of which I have less than half. it your help, my beautiful fur baby will walk again.

Dash

Dash is a 9 month old Dachshund in miami, FL, who needs $2,000 for Surgery.

miami, FL

Dash is our 9-month-old dachshund puppy, full of energy and love. He was a special Christmas gift from a nursing school friend who had a litter, and truly an answer to my prayer for a little dachshund. He is well-trained, loves kids, enjoys the water, and has become our baby and a cherished part of our family. Life with Dash has brought us so much joy and laughter every single day. While staying with my sister, Dash jumped off the bed and then hid under the blankets. Soon after, he was unable to use his back legs. We were shocked and heartbroken, and he is now being brought to an emergency appointment with the neurologist for evaluation and care. Dash is such a special part of our family. He loves to play with other animals and is wonderful with kids, always gentle and full of energy. Some of his favorite activities are going to the beach, walking and playing in the sand, and even swimming. At home, he is the best cuddler, bringing comfort, joy, and love to everyone around him. I am a nursing student and my partner is also in school, so money is tight. This emergency was completely unexpected, and Dash’s medical bills are more than we can manage at once. Having him healthy again would mean the world to us and bring comfort back to our family.

Brownie

Brownie is a 9 year old Dachshund in Miami , FL, who needs $2,000 for Hemilaminectomy.

Miami, FL

Our fur baby, affectionately known as “Brownie” (named by my niece) came into our lives one week before Christmas as a total surprise. The little gift we didn’t know we needed turned into the gift that kept on giving. Due to his breed, Brownie is struggling with Intervertebral disc disease (IVDD), which has resulted in nerve damage and loss of mobility in his hind legs, so the best course of action is an invasive surgery at Southeast Veterinary Neurology, one of the few facilities in the region equipped to handle this procedure. Brownie may be small in size, but his vibrant spirit leaves a lasting impression on everyone he meets and his unwavering determination in the face of challenges such as IVDD make him an irreplaceable piece of our family. The unpredictable nature of IVDD has made managing financial responsibilities overwhelming. Any contribution towards our fur baby being able to undergo the much needed procedure would be sincerely appreciated.

Sophia

Sophia is a 12-year-old Applehead Chihuahua in Florida City, FL, who needs $2,000 for MRI.

Florida City, FL

Sophia is very special to us, I got her from a gentleman who's chi gave birth, she was only 2 months old & the cutest thing ever. All of us in love with her instantly, she has lived a good, happy and comfortable life with us full of lots of love, spoiling and cuddles. She was close to my mom who passed last year & became even more special to us after that, it was like I still had a piece of mom. She would go with me EVERYWHERE in my purse or in my arms, she was literally like a celeb in the stores lol. Everyone wanted to carry her & some would even take pics lol. She shares a house (she was the 1st) with another deer head chi, lab mix & 2 adorable cats. She has ALWAYS been the queen, the main boss of the house. My sweet girl... She is a Chihuahua & as we all know she is loud all bark but no bite, well sometimes...she is quite a character but the sweetest little girl ever. Beautiful big brown eyes & loves McDonald's plain cheeseburgers. Also, loves to wear here cute X-Small dresses to go out, she would willingly stick her head through them when she saw me because she knew it was going out time...lol. She fell out of my sons arms when he went to bend over to stop my other Chi from escaping our front door. She hit her head on the pavers and has had seizures ever since. I cannot afford and MRI, we just moved into our new place after being homeless for 3 months because of the rental crisis in Miami, FL. She was happy going up & down the stairs, my old girl at 12 was better than ever, fast, healthy I lost my job 2 wks after my mom passed and am working now but do not make nearly enough to pay my bills so a vet bill is too much for me now. I asked for a 2 week advance but that is nothing compared to the care she needs. I want to give her an opportunity to heal

Duke

Duke is a five-year-old Belgian Malinois in Miami, FL, who needs $1,800 for an MRI.

Miami, FL

Diana P. is at a heartbreaking crossroad. Her family's dog, Duke, needs expensive tests, including an MRI, to figure out what's causing him severe pain when he walks. She doesn't have the money to pay for his care. She launched this Waggle campaign as her last hope! "Duke became a part of my family five years ago," Diana tells Waggle. "He has always been a happy dog playful. He started limping in October. I paid for several veterinary visits and multiple medications. I am an unemployed single mother and cannot afford the MRI. How can I explain to my children it is breaking my heart to give him away and put my family through that pain?" His neurologist at Southeast Veterinary Neurology believes Duke may have an inverted vertebrae. "My kids and Duke like playing together with the frisbee, which he can't do because of his left back leg pain. My daughter bathes him, and he cries. We need to help him. Even after taking painkillers; his leg fails him. We tried everything humanly possible and control his environment, so he rests and does not overly stress his leg," Diana says. Duke is such a good boy. He used to like outrunning the kids while they rode their bikes. But now, he can barely walk. Diana is hoping if you're reading this, you will give to his campaign and "pay it forward" to help Duke and her family. "My kids and I have endured my divorce, and due to COVID, I lost my job," Diana says. "We need help for Duke. He is in pain. This has put my family through a lot of psychological stress."
