Reese
Reese is a 10 year old Mix-Breed in Jacksonville, FL, who needs $2,000 for Palladia.
Jacksonville, FL
My daughter and I adopted Reese when she was a baby. She had been put in a drop box of a rural shelter. She is an amazing and wonderful dog. She is 10 now. She’s my heart dog. She understands everything I say. She loves children and kittens. She enjoys her daily walks and she loves to say hello to the neighbors, she especially loves our mailman and UPS drivers. I have to run her out to see them! In Nov ‘22 Reese was diagnosed with oral melanoma which she had surgically removed and is getting the Oncept vaccine for. She is doing remarkably well. But now she has a mast cell on her lower jaw. Ultrasound confirmed organs clean. Bloodwork is great. The mast cell cancer is in one mandibular lymph node. Dr has recommended chemotherapy ASAP. Her vet is SEVO Beaches. Reese has had a very special relationship with me and my daughter. Our cat Gracie snuggles Reese when it thunders. They often sleep touching each other. (*see photo) Reese likes to “help” when we have fostered kittens. Reese is so in tune with the family and the grand children or any children. She seeks out children and neighbors she knows when we are outside. Reese was doing zoomies yesterday. She seems to have a lot of life left. Her medical costs have been piling up on top of my own. I have Lupus SLE and a high deductible plan. Unfortunately we have both had to incur medical debt this year and the last few years.

Jasper
Jasper is a 6 year old Dachshund in Green Cove Springs, FL, who needs $2,000 for LOPP Chemotherapy Protocol.
Green Cove Springs, FL
Jasper was diagnosed with mast-cell cancer back in October of 2023 when a mass appeared on his shoulder. He received surgery to remove the mass along with two lymph nodes the cancer spread to. Because Jasper's margins weren't 'clean', he received chemotherapy to kill any leftover cancer cells and completed his last treatment back in March 2024 successfully, cancer free. We are devastated to share that Jasper has just recently been diagnosed with T-cell lymphoma. This cancer is completely unrelated to mast-cell and is unfortunately a lot more aggressive. To have 2 separate cancers so close in proximity is rare, especially for Jasper only being 6 yrs old. Dr. Neumann & the oncology team at SEVO-med have been nothing but the best and we've mutually decided to forego a chemotherapy protocol called LOPP in hopes of remission. Jasper's quality of life will always be my main priority and right now he continues to remain his happy, loving self. To know Jasper is to love him. He smiles for his favorite humans, 'happy pees' when he's excited, and never turns down a treat. If you feel called to give, know how deeply meaningful and appreciative this is to us. Jasper has so much more life to live and foods to try.

Schotz
Schotz is a 9 year old Standard Schnauzer in Jacksonville, FL, who needs $2,000 for Doxorubicin.
Jacksonville, FL
Schotz came into my life when me and his daddy got together, he has always been full of energy, greets me when I get home after work, sleeps under my feet at the dinner table and let's me know when it bed time. He follows me to the fridge when I'm making a drink so he can get his piece of ice. Hates thunder and is in my lap asking for comfort and protection. Schotz had a small tumor on his neck that his regular vet removed once, He was diagnosed with stage 3 carcinoma, and unfortunately not operable. As it started to grow back there was a rupture of one of the tumors and we started seeing the associates at Southeast Veterinary Oncology. In between the meds/chemo/wrappings/meds and few other issues and additional office visits we're maxed out. Schotz it a happy, loving friend and son, he brings happiness to everyone. He loves being the center of attention walking, Schotz is my shadow, he follows me every where I go, he loves camping and riding on the golf cart. People can't believe I feed him from a fork. He knows when I'm sad and had a bad day, he's right there to comfort me. He's the grand kids best buddy. We are maxed out. We're trying to pay bills and still help with his treatments. We still have 4 treatments left and don't want to give up. We want to do the best we can to give him more life. He still has so much to give and still full of life and energy.

Reese Petunia
Reese Petunia is a 9-year-old Staffordshire Terrier in Jacksonville, FL, who needs $2,000 for Oncept Oral Melanoma Vaccine and Chest Radiographs.
Jacksonville, FL
My daughter and I rescued Reese when she was 6 months old. She captured our hearts immediately. She was not in a good situation, in fact we would later learn in the news how bad the situation was. I wanted to be sure she would be compatible with our 2 cats. We made arrangements to meet her in her environment. She was living in a cattery and we could see she loved cats and kittens! Reese is my heart dog! She is a beloved family member. She loves my daughter Kaiti who lived at home for Reese’s first years and has always been crazy about her boyfriend. She adores my grandsons. When she was younger and more rambunctious she had a gentle mode for the kids. She tucks them in at night. My mom visited recently, Reese tucked her in every night, once asleep she came downstairs. Reese is bonded and BFF with Gracie cat who is also a rescue. Gracie and Reese sleep together always. Gracie is Reese’s emotional support during thunder storms. Reese loves the mailman and the delivery drivers. She waits to greet them! She seeks out children so she can see them. She would like to kiss them. Reese would like to kiss everyone that sits on our sofa on the lips! Reese was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor & oral melanoma 11/22. She had 2 surgeries and completed the Oncept series of the oral melanoma vaccine. She is doing well. She has no metastatic disease. She had 30 post Oncept chest X-ray. Dr wants chest X-ray at 3 & 6 mo post Oncept. At 6 mo she needs an Oncept vaccine. These costs total $2,129.21 I am still paying off medical expenses from an issue with my autoimmune (Lupus SLE, RA, Sjogrens) that caused loss of work, and I just had COVID and complications of for 3.5 weeks this March which I incurred a $3500 bill from Mayo.

Reese Petunia
Reese Petunia is a 8-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix in Jacksonville, FL, who needs $2,000 for Melanoma Vaccine.
Jacksonville, FL
My name is Lisa Murphy and I am fundraising for my beloved Reese who was recently diagnosed with stage 1 oral melanoma. My daughter and I rescued Reese from a bad situation when she was about 6 mos old. For the last 4 years Reese & I and 2 cats are the only ones in the house. She is a wonderful companion. If not for Reese I don’t think I’d get out some days. Reese and I are best friends. Her other best friend is my cat Gracie. They snuggle together for naps. Reese loves everyone and her goal is to kiss her family members on the lips. Her favorites are my children and grandchildren. She has a gentle mode she uses for younger children. She celebrates homecomings with zoomies, Then she stares at the person until she can get a kiss, lips preferred! Reese talks! She seems to be mimicking me and pleading with me. This is usually when she wants to go out for a walk or outside for some reason. She also is a lip kisser. It startles some people given that she’s 60lbs. She sometimes decides she likes a stranger and wants to kiss their lips, they could be sitting on our sofa or standing in our driveway. I have developed a few friends this way! Reese was diagnosed with a stage 2 low grade MCT and oral melanoma on 11/19. Both were removed 11/22. 12/14 veterinary oncology ran imaging and pathology and determined no metastatic disease. Her oral melanoma is stage 1. She can have surgery on 12/20, surgeon feels he can remove the remaining melanoma with good margins. For the best outcome Reese will need immunotherapy/ melanoma vaccine. I had a medical crisis a few years ago. I was sent to MD Anderson Cancer Center as my blood work indicated Multiple Myeloma. I lost my insurance and this caused financial hardship I’m still recovering. My dx was Lupus and Immunogobuglamamenia. Reese is my heart and soul.

Archie
Archie is a 2-year-old Great Pyrenees in Jacksonville, FL, who needs $5,000 for chemotherapy.
Jacksonville, FL
Archie is the love of my life and the very best part of my day, week, month. I cannot wait to come home to him every day. When I went to meet Archie, I instantly started crying because I knew he was my furbaby and we would be bonded forever. Even as a fulltime student, I have made every sacrifice to make sure my baby is healthy and safe. He is so loved to the point that he gets home cooked meals. Archie is truly my protector but all the while is such a sweet, gentle giant. The first night I rescued him we were walking late at night and just as a stranger walked down the street in the distance, Archie grew about 3 inches and was on the defense. That evening as I sat on the couch he put his head in my lap and just stared at me as if he was thanking me for saving him and making him my family. I am a full time medical student who is at the start of her 3rd year (out of 4). I am already in debt and I live off my student loans. As a future physician, I have always believed everyone should have access to care, Archie should not be excluded in this. Archie went in for some simple diarrhea on 08/05/20 where a pea sized mass was felt on his right anal gland. On 08/21/20 he was diagnosed with Apocrine gland adenocarcinoma of the anal sac. Since we caught it very early, his prognosis is excellent with chemo and radiation. He is being treated by Dr. Neumann at SEVO med in Jacksonville, FL. Although chemo is difficult, Archie still loves intensely. Archie comes from a very abused background. He was left to starve to death until the neighbors cut him out of a cage. He was less than half his ideal weight we he was first taken in. However, this has not stopped my baby from being a solid 110 lbs now. He is certainly a foodie like his momma. He loves milk bone treats and when he is excited he can only hop up about 2 inches in sheer joy to get one

Asia
Asia is a 10-year-old Shih Tzu in Jacksonville , FL who needs $4,500 for CT scan and chest X-ray for nasal tumor.
Jacksonville, FL
We got Asia back in Dec of 2009 as a Christmas gift for my daughter. We did this to help her adjust and have a friend because we had just moved from Pennsylvania to Florida. But as time has gone by she has become the family do to us all. She has a sweet personality and loves to be around the family. Asia has always been a family dog. She loved to hang out with our daughter as she grow up. She would love to go on car rides with the family. We would take a vacation Asia would go. After being with the family for 3 years we brought a German Shepard puppy home named Dakota. Asia and Dakota become best friends. Our family has recently lost work because of covid-19. So we are unable to afford the procedure to be Completed to see if she has this condition and can be cured to last a few more years for our family Asia may have a suspected nasal tumor. In order to be sure Sevo-Med a veterinary oncology will have to do a full body CT scan with immobilization, chest X-ray, belly ultrasound, and head CT scan. She has had no medical conditions before but we lost her friend two years ago with lymph nodes cancer. Asia has to watched at all the times when she gets left outside because she will bolt for the mailbox at the front of the house. She also snores so loud for a little dog my daughter complains all the time that she keeps her awake at night. She also just sits there and lets my sons cat attack her and does not fight back.

Coral Springs, FL
I have had Baci (pronounced as “botch-ee”) since he was 8 weeks old and am with him all day long as I work from a home office. Baci is very healthy (other than the tumor) and has had amputation surgery on his right front arm to save his life. Baci shares the same birthday, October 28th, as my younger son (although they are 10 years apart) and Baci is considered my 3rd son.
