I got my dog as a rescue when he was 3 months old. My pass two husband's passed away. Blue and I and 6 cats live in a 98 RV. Blue loved my last husband so much that it took me several days to get him to eat. My car and RV are on its last leg. Blue plays with the cats a lot. Two feral cats. Two are outdoor inside cats and two older cats. Blue sleeps on the floor beside me. He is a rescue dog and goes everywhere I go (even to church). He can't walk like he use to as he might have Cushing's disease and he was just started on heart medicine. Boy he loves to go to the dog park. Loves all our 6 cats. Blue loved my husband so much. Blue stay with him while I worked. When husband died Blue looked for him all the time. Blue is my life. I love him more than anything. He rolls in the grass and looks like a fish that just got caught. He use to play with a stuffed cat. Until he destroyed it. When he smiles at me it makes me laugh. He knows when we are fixing to go somewhere. He loves going to the store so he bends his head to put on his vest. Blue's breathing is somewhat labored. He urinated and drinks and eats a lot. The vet believe he has Cushing's. He also has had elevated liver enzymes. Dr Greg Moore is his vet and I have been going to him for 29 years at Southlake Animal hospital. Blue also has a 2/6 heart murmur. Blue's creatine is normal and no fluid. I am 73 and was a nurse in ICU for 30 years. I only have social security. I have had 5 back surgeries. I need Blue in my life more than anything. The vet needs $600 for an echocardiogram and $500 for tests for Cushing's. I have already paid $400 for blood work.
