I adopted my dog from an animal rescue. She has been with me since she was a puppy. I cared for her for mostly all of her life. She has been pretty healthy until this urgent situation came up. My dog has Pyometra. It is a deadly infection in the uterus. I was told that the only cure is to get surgery done for her. She needs to have her uterus removed. My dog has brought a lot of joy to the family and others in the community. Whether we’re at the park or touring a pet store, people always come up to us to greet my dog and myself. This was a very unexpected situation. The bill to have the surgery is so unexpected and urgent. It would mean so much to have the proper medical treatment for the dog done.
