Raja has been a part of our family for exactly 9 years now--she was given to us by a stranger who had plans to take her to the pound which we absolutely did not want happening! Raja was such an ADORABLE puppy--she still is! She's the most amazing dog I've ever met--she loves kiddos, especially her best friend, Kaleb (our son). She isn't a pet--she's our family! Her nickname is Rajalina:) Raja loves hiking with us and running through the creeks. She can't wait to go on walks, go outside in the backyard, or snuggle right up next to you when you want a movie night. She can be very independent, but if you need her-she doesn't think about herself, only her family. She's patient, smart, and eager to learn everyday. She absolutely LOVES whipped cream! Raja LOVES everyone & makes them feel special from the moment she meets them. She's the type of dog who NEVER wants to come inside! She runs through our yard chasing butterflies and bugs and it's absolutely adorable! If she "wants" something from us she knows how to turn on the puppy dog eyes and the head tilt--so cute! She LOVES our son and follows him everywhere since day one! Raja was diagnosed with Addison's disease a little over 3 years ago and with that comes random issues from the medication she must take daily. A growth started growing on her hind end & recently it more than quadrupled in size and started bleeding profusely. It is infected due to it's location (urinating on it daily). We are in desperate need of financial assistance due to the financial burden the Addison's disease puts on us daily, monthly & yearly. We must pay over $200 per month for shots, $50 per month for pills, & over $1200 a year in bloodwork. We have no budget left for the surgery

Raja
Raja is a 7-year-old Pitbull Mix in St. Peters, MO, who needs $1,750 for CCL/ACL Surgery.
St. Peters, MO
Raja has been a part of our family exactly 7 years now--she was given to us by a stranger who had plans to take her to the pound which we absolutely didn't want to happen--she was ADORABLE! She's the most amazing dog I've ever met--she loves kids, loves little dogs, loves us, and she isn't a pet--she's our family! Her nickname is Rajalina:) Raja loves hiking with us and running through the creeks. She can't wait to go on walks, go outside in the backyard, or snuggle right up next to you when you want a movie night. She can be very independent, but if you need her--she doesn't think about herself, only her family. She's patient, smart, and eager to learn everyday. She absolutely LOVES whipped cream:) We are still paying off the hospitalization bills from earlier this year ($5000), and we have to pay for a monthly shot ($150), and daily medication ($30/month) along w/ blood work ($250 every 3 months). We are really stuck & cant' find a way to pay for the $3500 surgery. We almost lost Raja earlier this year-she went into an Addisonian crisis and required hospitalization. She has made a HUGE recovery, however, Raja gained weight from the medication which caused her to tear her CCL/ACL from simply running. The vet said we must fix it soon, or she will lose function and they may have to put her down b/c of additional complications that can arise. Raja LOVES everyone & makes them feel special from the moment she meets them. She's the type of dog who NEVER wants to come inside! She runs through our yard chasing butterflies and bugs and it's absolutely adorable! If she "wants" something from us she knows how to turn on the puppy dog eyes, and the head tilt--so cute! She LOVES our son and follows him everywhere since day one!
