Sophie came to me from a wonderful woman who loved her very much for years. She joined me and her doggy sisters and has been through a lot with me. From a pyo to a big move from IN to OH she's been the best girl. Shes like my soul mate and I can't imagine being without her (or her leg). We live in an apartment and she's the quietest husky. Sophie's leg was broken while rough housing with the other dogs. Unfortunately it's a rather bad fracture and needs to be surgically repaired or amputated. I really don't want to amputate so I'm hoping that I can get her pins and a plate if needed. She's being cared for by springboro veterinary after being seen by Medvet Dayton. Shes a talker sometimes but normally she's just the sweetest love bug. One of the quietest huskies I've met and she loves her 'baby' husky and hiking. She has gone everywhere with me for years and even trained to be my psd. This was totally unexpected and I basically live paycheck to paycheck so this expense is way more than I had saved up. Just her X-rays and emergency visits cleared me out and now I'm struggling with what to do

Some backstory, Freyja is a boxer/pit mix who was part of a dumped litter without their mother. She came to me at just 3 weeks old. We have loved each other unconditionally ever since. She’s 3 1/2 years old now and my literal shadow. There isn’t a mean bone in her body she loves everyone and everything. We went to the vet today for routine vaccine updates to get her prepared to be boarded while we are on vacation in October. The vet had a gut feeling about the lump (which I thought was a mole) on Freyjas leg, she wanted it tested to hopefully rule out mast cell. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. The results were positive. So now we are looking at needing the mass removed Freyja loves everyone, she visits with my elderly neighbor and even has sleepovers. She loves my 2 year old and adores my 14 year old. She is just a bright soul who brings joy to anyone she meets. I’m working full time but I also just made the decision to return to school. Everything is just kind of piling up and to have something happen to my pet I wouldn’t be able to live with myself.

Doc is a senior guy, approximately 12 years old. He's distinguished and ruggedly handsome, just a little timid at first. When he warms up, he's the KING of smiles. This is amazing because his person recently passed away so we're getting him all checked out and worked up medically so he can spend the rest of his days happy and as healthy as possible. He is being treated currently by Springboro. Doc is getting a senior workup and cleaned up also. He's being treated for joint pain for 10 days because his hips are very stiff and difficult for the vet to move him back half at all for the stiffness and apparently pain. He is undergoing treatment at Springboro Veterinary Hospital and Urgent Care in Springboro, Ohio. Before his person's health declined 6 years ago, Doc traveled the world and to every state. He still has so much left! Doc smiles for strangers even through his nerves. He's curious even though he's an old man and experienced loss. Doc did well with the 3 small dogs in his home and when bigger dogs walked past at vet, he showed no interest. Doc loves car rides and he never stops smiling! His person passed away and good Samaritans are trying to get him into a new home before he has to leave because of the bills no longer being paid. We are raising money to help him out!
