We found Dreamsicle on the side of the road, malnourished and starving. He was full of worms and we took him to the vet to be taken care of. Of course, we kept him and he's become a spicy member of the Rudder family! On April 14th of this year, I heard a thud and thought nothing of it. When I heard growling, I went to see what was happening and found Dreamsicle unable to walk and growling in pain. I rushed him to the Emergency vet, who couldn't get a proper diagnosis. So, I went to the vet the next day and learned that he has a broken left leg near the upper hip that requires surgery. Dreamsicle has a biological big brother named Mr. Marbles, who was found the same time as him. He also has three adopted sisters (one being my daughter) and one more adopted brother. He's very sweet and affectionate and LOVES food waaaaaay too much! This came out of the blue and we unfortunately don't have the funds to help take care of him. He's only two years old with so much life to live and my daughter only makes so much at her fast food job while I get disability.
