Zeus
Zeus is a 7 year old Labrador Retriever in Watchung, NJ, who needs $10,000 for Oral Tumor Removal.
Watchung, NJ
Our boy Zeus recently came into my partner and my lives in January of 2026. We rescued him from my neglectful roommate, and after seeing how he had been being treated and how his behavior was becoming more stressed and anxious day-by-day, we decided we had no choice but to take him in and give him the most comfortable life we could. Zeus recently developed an aggressive oral tumor on the side of his mouth. After a biopsy and imaging, it came back that the tumor has begun to put significant pressure on his lower jaw bone. Treatment will likely require the removal of some parts of his lower left jaw bone, and if left untreated will begin to compromise his ability to ear, drink, and live a normal life. Zeus is a very sweet boy who loves to play with his stuffed toys. He and our other dog, Arizona, who is pictured with him in some photos make for great companions. He loves to go hiking, lounge in bed with mom (me), and go for car rides. While somewhat unexpected, he has been an incredible addition to our lives and we wouldn't change a thing about him. After only being with us for a few months, this was not an expense we were expecting to need to take on. As a full-time college student and flight instructor, we were already financially insecure. Treatment has been quoted by his surgeon to cost upwards of $10k.

Clover
Clover is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Sayreville, NJ, who needs $430 for Spay and Appetite Stimulant.
Sayreville, NJ • Whiskers Rescue, Inc.
Clover is one of our feral spay/neuter voucher recipients who we discovered also additional health concerns. Whiskers Rescue partnered with the caregiver to ensure she receives the vital veterinary care to help her return to health. Clover was brought to Summit Dog & Cat Hospital where she received x-rays in addition to her spay to ensure it was safe to proceed. She has also had subsequent, additional veterinary care and is currently receiving an appetite stimulant to encourage her to eat her normal rations. While Clover is feral, she is allowing her caregiver to apply her transdermal medication-- an extraordinary level of tolerance for a cat in her situation. Clover has required care at a private veterinary clinic, which is traditionally more costly than typical spay/neuter clinics. Being able to provide this next level of care is critical but not possible without the public's support.
