Benny Needs Us Now!

When Benny was rescued from a local apartment complex, he was supposed to be on his way to a better life. Instead, the spay and neuter clinic had to turn him away because he was simply too sick to undergo surgery. Once Benny arrived at Not My Cat Sanctuary, we took him into our vet and discovered he is FIV positive. We immediately started treatment and immune support, hoping to get him healthy again. Then, just when we thought we were out of the woods, came another heartbreaking diagnosis—stomatitis, a painful inflammatory disease that makes eating and even living comfortably incredibly difficult. For a while, steroid injections and medication helped manage his pain, but they are no longer working. Benny's condition has become so severe that his veterinary team has fast-tracked his surgery. The only remaining option is full dental extractions, giving him the chance to finally live without constant pain. The estimated cost of Benny's surgery is $800, and we're asking for your help to make sure nothing stands in the way of the care he urgently needs. After spending so long dealing with painful stomatitis, Benny deserves the chance to finally feel comfortable again. I found Olive a week after new years. I was cleaning our apartment and I had walked out to take our trash out. As I approached the dumpster and put trash in, all the sudden she snuck up behind me and wanted to play. No collar and nobody seemed to claim her, so I took her in. Almost immediately, my son who was 2 at the time was enamored by her and they quickly became besties. So Olive has always had eye problems and we have always been able to figure it out with her, however this time, she has seemed to scratch her eye. In the past when shes had irritated eyes, eye drops seemed to be the quick solution. However this time it doesnt seem like it's helping and unfortunately im out of a job and money has been very tight. Olive is such a sweet, adventurous, playful girl. She loves my son so much so and my son loves her too. It means a lot to me that my son has a fur friend at home because I get to see my son relive that part of my childhood of having a dog. Right now we are a one income house family. I am still looking and waiting for job responses. Money is tight and im trying my best to determine what is a necessity and what I can put off. I really can't afford surgery for her if it gets worse.

My cat sweets was a kitten when I got her from someone’s litter ever since she’s been with me she grew up with me and inside home always has been fed and taken care of, she is always thought of when I’m out shopping My cat hasn’t been her usual self lately she’s been struggling to eat and drink water I haven’t seen her use the restroom. I seen on this link on sunnyside pet hospital during this time is difficult for me to take her to the vet I'm in search of someone who can help me get the treatment she need time Is passing and I feel for my cat My cat is part of my family now, every time my mom comes over she greets her and pets her, she loves to lounge around and eat any little treats I give her, she also has a full set of hair and loves to be pet and head scratches I don’t have a secure job and I’m 23 I love my animals but during these times I don’t have all the money in the world so I’m trying my best to help my cat, any animal that comes in my life I try to do everything for I’d be devastated without my cat, I grew a bond with her

I was 13 when we got Moon; she was unique from the beginning. She is our childhood dog living at home with my grandmother, mother, younger sister, and me, and she has never left our side. My cousin called her Moo (like a cow) when she was born, but when we took her home, my younger sister started calling her Moony, so we added the "N" at the end! She also got a younger brother three years ago! Moon loves couch surfing, literally! Even at her current age, she zooms across the living room at high speed, scaling the sofa and loveseat. If you open a package of cheese from the kitchen, you'll find her standing in front of you in a matter of seconds! She loves being swaddled in a mountain of blankets and makes the best cuddle buddy for movie nights. Her zoomies will always put a smile on your face, especially when you're having a bad day. Although she's tiny, she won't hesitate to beat up her younger (even though he clocks in at 60 pounds!). She is a hunter at heart and will stalk the gophers in the backyard waiting to attack. So don't be shocked when she brings her latest kill inside; she considers it a gift and will wait for your approval. We first noticed she had blood on her paw. We thought it was a cracked nail, but we came to find out that the blood was coming from her mouth. So we took her to the pet hospital where they told us that it was her teeth. The vet told us that she would need dental cleaning and extraction because her teeth are so bad. My family struggles to make ends meet and rely on gov assistance for food. The bleeding won't stop, & that energetic spirit has disappeared since this started. We'd do anything to get that back. She has more years in her, she deserves to live them out happy and healthy.
