Corpus Christi, TX
My best friend an I met on August 5th 2025, I read an ad stating; charcoal lab puppy needs a loving forever home. I immediately jumped up and answered the ad. We met and my life has never felt more complete. Mako and I love to fish, we love long walks on the beach while playing catch. Mako makes friends everywhere we go. There's not a single dull moment... Mako needs to have a surgery to save his leg. Time is not on our side. We had a accident last night and I'm afraid I'll loose my dearest friend. He is still in great spirits even though I know he is in terrible pain. I can't bare loosing my close buddy. Tajas Vet Hospital off FM624, has helped the most so far. Thanks to the Tech her name is Joe, for the info for this site. Everyone everywhere both furry and not furry love Mako. As much as he loves making new friends. No one is a stranger after meeting Mako. Kids young and elder folks all make up Makos family. The way things are going, he may loose his leg. No doubt he will recover from this terrible tragedy. He has not given up. Neither can I. He gives me courage to ask for help. I am his voice.

Mumble
Mumble is a 1-year-old Mini Aussie in Corpus Christi, TX, who needs $2,000 for Right Partial Tarsal Arthrodes.
Corpus Christi
Hi, my baby's name is Mumble, he has been by my side through some of toughest times. I owe Mumble unconditional love and want to make sure he is given the best of years to come. Mumble has saved me from many nights of depression and has never judge me. We recently moved back to my parents as I was working graveyard shifts as a corrections officer and also to return back to school. We are currently living with my parents along with my sister's dog, who they are also helping care for as she is in deployment in South Korea. My parents have endured some financial hardships and we were trying to come together as a family to help one another when Mumble had his accident. He is loved by everyone in the home and enjoyed taking his daily walks with my parents and the other 2 dogs. He loves to jump and run. My mother named him Super Dog and said that he actually thinks he can fly. This is what got him in the situation that he is in. He loves his toys, treats and daily walks through the neighborhood. He has the most loveable personality, that you cannot say no to even when you are so tired its one more time to play catch. Mumble suffered a severe injury to his leg. He was taken out back to go potty and was getting ready to go for his daily walk. We don't know exactly how he injured his leg. The doctor stated it looked like he got his leg hung up on something and pulled it where he fractured it and pulled it tearing some ligaments in the process. It's hard to see him like this as he is the spunky 1 in the bunch. This has come unexpected as I was in the process of trying to attend the police academy and just recently moved back to parents to assist them as well. We are a family that deeply cares for our pets and unable to financially support this surgery is heartbreaking.
