Lola was given to me as a gift I wanted a pet dog but they can be expensive to purchase and then I got lucky and got Lola gifted to me and my kids.I really wanted a dog because I suffer from anxiety and I have an autistic child as well and I wanted a dog to comfort me and my child to help us overcome our everyday struggles and health issues in life am so happy that a became a dog mom to Lola. Lola had a terrible accident playing with my autistic child I had to take her to urgent care and poor Lola ended up with 3 fractured knuckles she has to change her splint every week for 5 weeks and have a final x-ray done to make sure she healed well am taking her to tender hearts animal hospital in Kissimmee for her care. I love Lola so much she is a happy puppy she is a very cheerful and playful puppy and she loves to play with the kids she became a special member of our family she brings us so much happiness and joy and makes me forget about the health issues am facing I love her cuddles and kisses and how sweet she is she’s the best dog I ever had. Am currently not working due to my health issues and currently trying to fight for disability and am also a stay at home mom taking care of my special needs child we live in a fix income so this unexpected injury is very overwhelming & expensive I feel so depressed and sad

Gucci was brought to me by son 9 years ago. He could not care for her anymore and they were going to take her to a shelter. I decided to keep her. Gucci is the baby of our house. My mother and myself are both retired and elderly and live off social security which it difficult to keep up with her care now that she was diagnosed with cancer. We will do anything within our means to help her. Gucci was just diagnosed with cancer in the inside of her cheek. She was seen at Tender heart in Kissimmee FL. A biopsy wad done that confirmed the cancer diagnosis. Gucci is a very loving and smart baby girl. She is the happiness and joy of the house. My mom owe is 88 loves her Nena like she calls her. It means little girl in Spanish. Gucci will not go sleep unless I go to sleep. If its dark and I'm talking ith my mom she Bark at me and guide to the room. Trying to tell me it's bedtime. She loves playing with her favorite toy. She loves car rides and walk My mom and I are both retired and live off social security. We are both elderly and many expenses. Gucci is what keeps on going with her sassy personality.

A good Samaritan came along at the right time to save Athena, who children were torturing! "He was at work and noticed a few kids together, poking at something. He kept an eye on the kids, and when he heard little screams, he quickly chased the children away. What he found was horrifying," Helping Paws Humane Society tells Waggle. The man quickly scooped up the kitten and brought her inside. He fed her, kept her warm, and brought her home with him for the evening. But soon, he realized something was wrong. She was unable to walk and dragged her little legs behind her. He called around to local shelters and rescues, but none would take Athena until he got in touch with Helping Paws. When the group heard about the kitten, they brought her right over to Tender Hearts Animal Hospital, where the medical team discovered the Athena suffered a spinal injury. She now needs an evaluation with a neurologist, potential surgery, and ongoing care. "The veterinarian says Athena is active, eats well, and is capable of urinating on her own, which means she has a chance! She also has feeling in her hind limbs and tail, which is very promising," the rescue says. The group hopes the Waggle community will assist Athena in getting the treatment she needs. "Athena deserves a chance at life! With your help, she can have the opportunity for a long, purrfect life."

CHICKFILET came into my life 2 years ago, walking around my house spraying my doors and fighting with the other community cats. I decided to do TNR. When he was trapped, he was very aggressive and mad. After that I released him close to my house, and he ran away. A month later, he started to come to eat but hid from us. Little by little he started to trust us. Every single day when I opened the sliding door, he was waiting for his food and water. After eating he leaves and comes back for lunch and dinner. During the storms and fireworks, we let him come into the house because he was afraid of the noise. He never fought with my 2 indoor cats; he was always reverent with my cats. Chic filet came into my life during my pregnancy. My son learned to touch him gently, and was not scared. Now, I’m not working, and I have the big responsibility to pay the invoice for all that the vet did trying to save Chic filet’s life. In the past when ChickFilet has had a wound or injury we have provided for his vet care. Last week he came to eat and he could not walk. He didn’t eat, and he was unable to urinate. We brought him to the vet, and he had urinary blockage. After the procedure, he stayed in the clinic 5 days with IV fluids and antibiotics. He was not able to recover. My husband chose the name because Chic filet because his appearance is like a little cow. One day he started to come inside to the front door. He stays for a little time with us, playing with a catnip mouse, and then he just desires to go out again. This is our routine every single day, but we enjoy care for him and keep him safe.
