Hank

Hank is a 5 year old Rottweiler in Keyser, WV, who needs $20,000 for CHOP.

Keyser, WV

Hank came to us as a dog that had been passed around from home to home. Throughout being passed around he developed OCD. He was on medication for it however we were able to finally get him off of medications. He’s been with us about a year and a half now and sadly he now has to go through cancer treatments. Hank was diagnosed with large cell lymphoma on 7/17/2026. We are looking to get him chemotherapy to give him more time where he is comfortable. The oncology service in leesburg Va is where he will receive chemotherapy. Hank is a goofy fun loving pup. He loves my brother dearly and even loves going to swim at my brother’s dam. He loves to swim, roll in the grass, and get lots and lots of love when he’s ready to wind down. He loves it when we pet his chest and even gets a little cranky when we stop! My income alone is no where close to afford his treatments, I am putting myself through nursing school and sadly am struggling to afford his chemotherapy. My family has had a lot of unexpected expenses with the maintenance of our home and sadly they financially cannot help.

My dog, Lukas, has been diagnosed with a Nasal tumor, and he’s struggling. It’s hard for him to breathe and even harder to see him in pain. The vet says radiation Lukas isn’t just a dog to me, he’s my best friend. He’s been with me through everything, always there to cheer me up when life gets tough. He has a way of knowing when I need him, resting his head on my lap or wagging his tail to remind me I’m not alone. His love is simple, pure, and something I rely on every day. He’s brought so much joy to my life and to everyone who’s met him. Lukas is the kind everyone who’s met him. Lukas is the kind of dog who makes people smile just by being himself. He greets everyone with the same kindness dogs, kids, strangers at the park. He has so much love to give, and it breaks my heart to see him suffer. I want to give him the care he needs, but I simply don’t have the money. I’ve been doing everything I can to save up, but it’s not enough. That’s why I’m rea I have back surgery and I have my golden retriever sick and I been having difficulty getting payment to my mortgage and is because I have taken my dogs to the veterinary and my credit cards and saving is gone, now I need Lukas get his radiation therapy and I don’t have money

Blackjack

Blackjack is a 14 year old Mix-Breed in Alexandria, VA, who needs $2,000 for Radiation Therapy.

Alexandria, VA

Blackjack "Jack" came into my life at 2 months old when his mom (a neighborhood stray cat) dropped him off at my neighbor's house and the rest is history almost 14 years later. As an all black cat, I wanted to name him something appropriate and a friend mentioned Blackjack and it stuck. Jack does enjoy being out on a leash to be able to see the neighborhood and eat grass. Jack was recently diagnosed with cancer - acromegaly or a pituitary tumor on his brain - along with diabetes, kidney disease, and arthritis. His body is rejecting his second type of insulin due to the tumor and its a challenge to manage his diabetes and kidney disease since the tumor is blocking normal signals. The treatment is radiation therapy to address the tumor. Jack is definitely a talker and consistently lets me know how he is feeling. He loves to walk on the leash even with his arthritis somewhat slowing him down at times. He is also a cuddle bug and will rub his head on your head to check you out and make sure you are ok. He tolerates his younger sisters (one feline, one human) as he is the only male in the house. As a single mom to a human toddler and two cats, bills have piled up, especially Jack's vet bills before the acromegaly diagnosis when it was just diabetes. Jack is still very active and definitely not ready to succumb to these diseases with lots of life left.

Chesney

Chesney is a 7-year-old Chihuahua in STEPHENSON , VA, who needs $2,000 for Radiation Therapy.

STEPHENSON, VA

Chesney was given to me when she was 8 weeks old from a co-worker. We have been together for 7 years now, I also have a 13 year old male Min. Pin. named Kane. We came up with th name Chesney that just seemed to fit her personality. Chesney loved sleeping in bed with me and her brother Kane, she loved going to doggy daycare. I love the way she just comes to me with those big brown eyes for a treat or just a pet. She loved chasing her little ducky toy in the back yard or playing with her elephant just before feeding time. Chesney has one favorite person that she follows around all the time and that is her Nanny, her second favorite is her auntie. She loves her treats and loved just being chased around the house or yard, she is very vocal when she hears things out of the norm. I love all my animals the same and have a different special bond with both of them. Chesney was diagnosed a few weeks ago with a perpheral nerve sheath tumor. It cannot be removed due to where it is located so shrinking it is the only option at this point. She will be treated at the Oncology Services by Dr. Pamela White. I will do whatever it takes to get her the treatment that she needs. I love her with all my heart and will do what I can to raise enough money for her. I need help funding her Radiation therapy, I have no extra income due to my overwhelming bills. I will do anything to help my sweet girl get through this.

Honey

Honey is a 9-year-old Chihuahua in North Chesterfield, VA, who needs $2,000 for radiation treatment.

North Chesterfield, VA

Honey means the world to Alexis W. and her husband, David. "David first saved Honey from a couple where the husband was neglecting and abusing her as a puppy," Alexis tells Waggle. "Honey has been dealt a tough deck of cards from the beginning. Despite these challenges, she remains one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met. Simply put, to know Honey is to love Honey." But Honey wasn't acting like herself for the last two years. She seemed tired and had low energy. The couple paid for test after test to determine what was wrong with their Honey. Then they got devastating news: She has a brain tumor! The good news is with radiation, Honey's health has a great outlook! After paying for Honey's diagnostic tests, the couple is racing to raise money for her cancer treatment. "It would mean the entire world for any assistance," Alexis says. "We are financing some of this ourselves. Our girl is like a child to us; any and every donation, no matter how small, is a step to help Honey."
