We have had Moose since he was a few months old. He is a very hyperactive but lovable boy. He loves chasing squirrels and showing off his toys to anyone who will pay attention. Moose isn’t just an amazing family dog but an emotional support dog for a veteran as well. Moose recently had TPLO surgery on one leg and now needs it on the other one. The surgery is very expensive, but he deserves to have a good quality life. He is in immense pain getting around as his knee ligament and meniscus are torn. He hasnt been able to run around like a dog should in months. Getting him this surgery, would mean great quality life for the rest of his life. Nobody notices that Moose has one eye at first, and are always shocked to realize it. He is the sweetest boy who just wants to love you in the most intense way he can. He deserves to be healthy, happy and not in any pain. Unfortunately I am on unemployment from a recent company wide lay off, so this surgery is a huge financial strain. Life is expensive as is, we would love and appreciate any help so we don't have to add more debt to relieve later on top of medication payments.

I rescued Max from a couple who lived in a 3rd story apt. He was 5 months old when i got him. He has been with us 3 ¹/2 year. He is named after my brother who passed away in 2018. We have 2 other dogs, Boyka 7 years old and Choxie 5 years old we, also have 4 cats. Dallas 14 yo, Batman and Bubbles 12 y o and Monster Kitty( aka Heetheen). Max has a big family now and room to run. He is such a good dog Max has a big dog bed and sometimes he sleeps on it but most of the time he is on the couch stretched completely out. Then there are times he sleeps in Choxies bed she is, a chihuahua yep his hind end is in the bed and the rest of him is o the floor. He is very vocal. I wish i knew what he washing saying sometimes. He loves to go outside lay in the sun and likes to play chase with us. He is so happy Max loves the kitty cats except bubbles he turns around when he sees her. He is afraid of the vacuum cleaner and the broom and mop. Although he is much better than in the beginning. He is a talker. Not just wanting to go outside but to play or let me know Bubbles is close by him. He tells me about the squirrels too. He is a super sweet dog. He is very smart. He makesvme laugh when he eats peanut butterz Max has a slab fracture tooth. He needs surgery to remove the broken tooth which should make the swelling in his eye go down. That poor dog has been dealing with this since July. He is definitely a trooper. It has gotten worse as time goes on. He paws at it now. I have to put a cone on him. I had to have surgery on my neck and shoulder. I was denied short term disability thru my employer so, I had no income. I appealed and lost. I have sold things, and made things to sell just to make ends meet which is extremely tough.
