Bruno
Bruno is a 11 year old Chihuahua in los angeles, CA, who needs $14,200 for ICU Stay to Treat His Diabetes.
los angeles, CA
Bruno was adopted at the human society in Hawaii. We adopted Rosco first and then went back with Rosco to let him choose his friend and he picked Bruno. They have been inseparable since Bruno is doing fine till the month of May where he got diagnosed with Cushing’s disease and we thought great. It’s easy to manage and then two weeks later he was not eating wasn’t doing well and we found out that he wasn’t diabetic ketoacidosis so he spent four days at the emergency room fighting for his life and now we are managing it, but it is not recovered 100% yet Bruno is a special little boy because he is always looking to make sure that everyone is OK he comes and he licks your hand the minute we walk in the door he can sense if we’re sad or not and he’ll just like follow us around lick our leg and make sure that we give him attention and then when we pick him up, he’ll kiss us and just be so sweet he’s just such a good little boy. It will mean the world if we can get help to cover this bill because we do not believe in euthanasia and that’s what the hospital offered even though diabetic dogs are treatable and it will mean the world if you guys can help us because the bill is insane

Noodle
Noodle is a 2 year old Yorkshire Terrier in Reseda, CA, who needs $2,000 for Wound Treatment After Dog Attack.
Reseda, CA
I have a two year-old Yorky terrier that I adopted it from a lady who couldn’t keep him. 2 years ago. Right now I work 40 hours a week at Costco and it’s still not enough. i’ve been looking everywhere for a second job Help Save My Yorkie’s Life Hi, my name is Andres, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. I adopted my sweet 2-year-old Yorkie terrier, and he’s been my joy every single day since. Not long ago, another dog attacked him, leaving him injured and in need of urgent veterinary care. I applied for CareCredit to cover the costs, but I’ve already maxed it from his last vet bill The estimated cost for this next step in his care is $2,000, and I simply can’t cover it on my own. Every dollar will go directly toward his veterinary bills, medications, and recovery. If you’re able to help — in any amount — it would mean the world to both of us. I’m happy to provide pictures, videos, hospital paperwork, or even FaceTime so you know exactly where your help is going. Thank you Unexpected cost it’s really killing me. I don’t even have family or friends who can help me out. Any type of proof you need I will provide. You can even call the vet hospital directly and pay them directly.

Birdie
Birdie is a 10 year old American Bulldog in Sherman Oaks, CA, CA, who needs $2,000 for Radiation Oncology.
Sherman Oaks, CA, CA
Birdie has been my joy, my home, and the best part of my world since 2017. I adopted her from a shelter in LA. The simple version of our story is: being able to care for her at the point in my life I no longer believed I could care for myself gave me hope, allowed me to seek help and recovery, and lead the life I have today. Today, I do my best to help others heal from their trauma as a therapist. Birdie has been diagnosed with cancer in her bones (skull, specifically) and the cartilage of her mouth. The location and nature of the cancer eliminate surgery to remove and stopping the cancer’s growth. Radiation is the treatment option available for Birdie’s condition per the assessments of the incredible and attentive folks at True Care for Pets & Modern Animal. Birdie is a cherished member of my family. She is the most gentle creature and brings a sense of peace, ease, and safety to all (& her BFF is a saucy lil cat). I can’t count the amount of times I’ve heard, “there is something so special about this dog,” from friends and strangers alike. Birdie has taught me the contentment in calm, the value of doing less, and how little it takes to be blissful. The unpredictability of life, like Birdie’s recent diagnoses, have made it so I am unable to pay for her treatments myself. I am so grateful for my beautiful life, please help me spend more time with Birdie, if you’re able. Thank you, sending love and gratitude. 🤍

Bruno
Bruno is a 4 year old French Bulldog in north hollywood, CA, who needs $2,000 for Soft Tissue Surgery (Respiratory Surgery).
north hollywood, CA
Bruno was born from our other dog Petunia, he is the youngest out of three other full bred frenchies! Bruno has been facing both laziness and anger when he feels jealous sadly, he lives with now two other dogs, his sister and his dad, his mom had just moved out with his auntie but she comes and visits almost every weekend so they always have fun! This little guy is a ball of sunshine yet rain! Bruno ever since he was born has faced respiratory issues where he had grown a thick layer of skin inside his throat to where he has to take much longer in order to breath, with this he is unable to play for a long while the maximum he can play is around 5 minutes until he is huffing and puffing to where he has to lay down and rest for a while, he spends most time sleeping but faces sleeping isses Bruno is a special guy, he takes his time in the kitchen making it known that he is there with his snorts and purrs when he sees people in there, when he meets other friends of the owners he is all over them and is all excited when meeting new people, he lays on them until they move him as he feels happiest with them! He is so special but is a very jealous guy especially when it comes to food! We have been facing financial issues for a while now, put on disability while paying for both a child and three dogs, we had adopted our first two and they had given us a blessing of three new puppies! Bruno deserves the chance to run and play with his family without issues!

Viscious
Viscious is a 11-year-old Pitt Bull in Sun Valley, CA, who needs $2,000 for Puppy Extraction.
Sun Valley, CA
Vicious was dropped off in my yard. Although I was not looking for a dog, I grew to love her. She shares my home with the larger dog you see in the pics. When she went into heat I sent her to stay at a friend's house. Thinking 2 weeks was adequate time...he brought her back. Before we even had a sentence out they were locked together. I dreaded not knowing if she actually got pregnant. He is a large dog while she...just a little girl Pitt Bull. Days went by. She grew a bit...not by much. Those two sure love each other and even though I sent her away for a bit...they still did it. I worried for her. Neither could live without the other Sooo....the time finally came. She grew little breasts. And I didn't seem to alarmed because she never got very fat. So I knew there were not too many puppies. The day is here and now. For a day and a half she has been in labor. Trying to push the baby out. Probably only one.. but it refuses. She is exhausted. And I can do nothing for her. I tried helping her to the best of my ability. But it won't come out she needs vet care and she needs it now or she will die. I recently lost my job. I worked at for 9 years and am barely scrapping by. Even feeding them is sometimes hard I have no money for vet expenses....please help.

Kavalier
Kavalier is a 10-year-old Orange Tabby Cat in Pasadena, CA, who needs $1,808 for CT Scan.
Pasadena, CA
Kavalier aka Kav is a ten (10) year old curious and happy kitty. I adopted him and his fraternal twin brother from a friend when they were three (3). She adopted them when they were kittens and named them after the book, The Adventures of Kavalier and Clay. They’re inseparable. Kav is a much-loved kitty and brings so much joy to my life. He is just so dang cute, loving, and impossible to resist! Kav is the friendliest kitty. He follows me (Mommy) wherever I go from room to room. You will fall in love with him the minute you meet him. He loves to greet people, then collapses on his side acting cute to get pets whenever he can. He and his brother like to sleep at the end of the bed and keep my feet warm. He is always there to make me, and my partner smile no matter what is going on. He has the loudest purr I have ever heard and it's so endearing. He loves boxes of all sizes, and he sits or lays in ones that are too small for him. During his annual vaccines, he is always complimented on what a sweet boy he is. He has been known to turn multiple "dog people" into "cat people." He is amazing! In Oct, 2020 Kav had an X-Ray that found a chest mass. In Mar, 2021 Kav had repeat X-Rays, and it had grown. In May 2021, he had his first CT and it was found stable. At the vet's direction, I waited 6 months for another CT and it was still stable. He now has to have annual CTs to monitor the mass and is due for it this Dec. 2022. I was laid off during the pandemic and was getting by with unemployment assistance. It has since run out. I have had health issues of my own preventing me from working a full-time job. I am grateful for any financial assistance in helping my beautiful boy thrive for years to

Winnie
Winnie is a 2-year-old Pomeranian in Santa Clarita, CA, who needs $2,000 for Kidney Removal.
Santa Clarita, CA
Winnie is our two year old baby Pomeranian. We have had her since she was 6 weeks old. She is 5 pounds, red sable. We got her from a breeder in Phoenix, AZ as we couldn't afford to buy one in Cali. She is not a registered AKC - we just wanted a Pomeranian from a good breeder. We live in an upstairs condo with my boyfriend and our other older Pom mix, Monster. Winnie Girl is a happy, chatty, bratty, intelligent, loving, bossy and hilarious little being. She thinks she runs the house, always ready to go for a walk, play, chase us around the house. She LOVES to go for walks and can easily do a two mile hike/run/walk. We go every day when the weather is cool. She loves everyone she encounters. She is very active and very talkative! Because she is my BEST friend. I work from home so she is either on my lap or near my chair. She loves to give kisses. I have a sling that goes around my torso that I put her in and take her with me when I run errands-she LOVES this. She loves being held. Just looking at her little face makes me happy from the inside out. I have never had children - so she is my "kid." On June 18 we rushed her to TrueCare ER in Studio City, CA for vomiting blood, they advised she had a bad kidney that needed repair ($12K) A week later it "deflated" and follow up appointment ($283) I was told it needed to be removed ($44000-$5500). She had it removed July 7th and the cost was $4405. I have depleted my savings and maxed out my credit cards. I am not a "high income" person. I have spent a total of $7907. $4405 is on a credit card. I am so grateful my best friend/little girl/my heart is still alive.

Kumo
Kumo is a five-year-old Great Pyrenees in Sylmar, CA, who needs $2,000 for an MRI.
Sylmar, CA
When Melanie A. adopted Kumo just three weeks ago, she pledged she would be his dog mom for better or for worse. Sadly, "for worse" came quickly. "He started suffering from seizures and had to be hospitalized," Melanie tells Waggle. "They ran multiple tests, ruled out internal diseases, and we now have to meet with a neurologist for an MRI, which we can't afford. I'm a mother of three children and don't have enough income to cover his vet bills and future ones. I opened a Care Credit account and have already spent 6K. I need help with his upcoming neurologist appointment, which is expected to be $3,500." It's a heartbreaking situation for Melanie and her family. "He's only been with us three short weeks, but we have fallen so in love. Our kids adore him. We call him our gentle giant. He sometimes forgets his size and thinks he's a lot smaller and loves to act like a puppy. He loves going on walks and to the dog park. He loves giving drooly kisses! He has the sweetest soul ever," Melanie says. The medical team at True Care For Pets has him scheduled for the MRI later in January, and Melanie hopes generous pet lovers will give to Kumo's campaign so they get answers and have a much better new year. "Help me give him a chance to live a good life," she pleads.

Oliver
Oliver is a 11-year-old Terrier Mix in Santa Monica, CA, who needs $2,000 for Mass Removal.
Santa Monica, CA
Oliver was rescued 11 years ago, one day before the pound was about to put him down. I met Oliver 6 years ago. He is my boyfriend's dog but I have been taking care of him and he always with me since my boyfriend works long hours. There are no other pets in my apartment, only Oliver. My father passed away last year and I was with him and my Mom for almost a year and Oliver was with us too. Ollie loves to sleep on pillows. We call him the pillow king! No matter where we are, if he sees a pillow he wants to get on top of it. I take him on long walks every day. There are a lot of dogs in my neighborhood. Oliver gets very excited to meet and play with all of them. We also love going to the beach and throwing a ball for him to fetch. The tests and biopsy were $3000. Surgery will be around $8500. I lost my job and I lost my Dad last year. I love Oliver more than anything. He has helped my through the most difficult time in my life, my Dad's passing. Oliver was diagnosed with an aggressive mass of cancerous cartilage cells on his lower rib cage. If nothing were to be done he would be consumed by it and leave us all too soon. His surgeon Dr. Soto from True Care Pets consulted the other surgeon and they agree it needs to be removed along with 2 ribs. He has an appt this coming Monday for surgery, 10/11. When you see Oliver he looks like Stripe from the Gremlins. He has a natural mohawk and one snaggletooth. He is a character! I walk him every day & always get stopped to see what is this dog or he is adorable! Ollie also loves to carry things in his mouth. We do not know where it came from but you give him a bag and he will carry it.

Choebe Ann
Choebe Ann is a 15-year-old Domestic short hair in Valley Village, CA, who needs $1,500 for Oncology consult, cytology, sedation, testing, and surgical in-house consult, ultrasound, multiple site centesis, and cytology..
Valley Village, CA
Choebe Ann came to me when her mom passed away and the adult children needed a home for her. For the first two years with me, she lived in a house with a yard! Her yard! Her garden. these last 3 years she lives with me in a small but cozy studio. She has thrived within the space confines, taking full advantage of the walled balcony for sunbathing and the apartment for calisthenics. It is just me and Choebe living together and we absolutely love each other's company. She is shy and wary of most other people, but she loves my cousin and my mother. Just the other night, she slept with my cousin when I was away. Choebe is very smart and communicative. She gets so traumatized by the cat carrier that I got a soft one so she doesn't make her claws bleed trying to get out. I am unemployed since March 2020. I claim what I earn with chair massage, assisting my Uncle, and cat sitting. I receive unemployment until September and continue to search for suitable work. I live in Los Angeles. I have a car payment, insurance, rent, and credit card debt. Choebe had a mast-cell tumor removed over her eye last fall. She has since developed another one just over her left eye. Cancer has spread to the lymph node. The cost of testing and consult is already 2,700, while the 5,000 from last fall is still sitting on my credit card. She will likely need radiation, chemo, steroid treatment, or a combination. She is being tested for spread right now. She enjoys screaming and running the boundaries of our apartment obstacle course while I am on zoom calls. Choebe is a very affectionate little being. She plays like a kitten, the string being her favorite toy. She has a delicate stomach so we measure her food carefully, Greenies and bone broth make her vomit.

Kavalier aka Kav is an eight (8) year old curious and happy kitty. I adopted him from a friend when she moved out of state. She adopted him from the North Central Animal Shelter when he was a kitten and named him after the book, The Adventures of Kavalier and Clay. He is a much loved kitty and brings so much joy to my life. He is just so dang cute, loving, and impossible to resist! Kav (Kavalier) is the friendliest kitty. He loves to greet new people and collapses on his side acting cute to get pets whenever he can. He has the loudest purr I have ever heard and it's so endearing. When he visits the vet for his annual vaccines he is always complimented on what a sweet boy he is. I was laid off from the Census Bureau in October. I am getting by with pandemic unemployment assistance and credit cards. I would be grateful for any financial assistance that you could provide in helping my beautiful boy thrive for years to come. In Oct, 2020 Kav visited the vet and an X-Ray found a lung nodule incidentally. He had repeat X-Rays in Dec, 2020 and the mass was stable. In Mar, 2021 Kavalier had additional X-Rays and a consultation at TrueCare for Pets in Studio City with Natalia Soto DVM, DACVS-SA to provide two estimates; for a CT and surgery to remove the pulmonary mass as it was determined that it had grown. He follows me (Mommy) wherever I go from room to room. He is always there to make me smile no matter what is going on. You will fall in love with him the minute you meet him. A person from OfferUp making a non-pet related transaction met him and immediately said, "I love you!" He has been known to turn multiple "dog people" to "cat people." He is amazing!
