Ginger
Ginger is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Green Valley, AZ, who needs $4,046 for MRI for Diagnosis.
Green Valley, AZ
Ginger came into my life when she was a young pup approx. 6 months old. She and many other animals were up for adoption due to a devastating wildfire that literally burned down the whole town of Paradise, CA. She was in a small crate and could barely move. I immediately fell in love with her and took her home with me that day. Ginger has been a healthy dog all these years until 6 months ago she had an accident involving a car & ended up with a lower back spinal fracture. We thought she had recovered from the injury, but 3 weeks ago she developed right back leg limp. After going to her primary veterinarian, whom referred us to an orthopedic specialist, whom in turn referred us to a neurologist, Dr. Berkell in Tucson AZ. Dr. Berkell believes Ginger may have a disc injury related to the previous spinal fx 6 mo. earlier. Dr cannot tell unless Ginger has an MRI, costing $2922.00 - $4046.00. Wow! A bit pricey, but I love my dog & will do anything possible for her. We. Go on hikes every day and play in the water together. She sleeps in bed with me, but can’t climb up on either the bed or couch right now. I am a retired single lady barely getting by on social security and a small pension. My credit cards are maxed out and I don’t know what else to do but ask for help. Ginger means so much to me, it would break my heart if I didn’t have her with me anymore. Please help us.

Roxy
Roxy is a 2 year old Mix-Breed in Tucson, AZ, who needs $2,000 for MRI.
Tucson, AZ
I adopted Roxy from PACC when she was 3 months old. Roxy had a bad infection in her eye and it had to be removed when before I could bring her home. She lives with me in a one bedroom apartment and my other cat which I call her sister Hurley. Roxy currently has a medical condition where she walks in circles and she meows while doing it. This started about a year ago and I took her to Ina Road Animal Hospital and they gave her some prescriptions which helped. Just recently they started getting worse. Roxy seems like she is in pain while doing them. I took her to Tucson Veterinary Specialist and they are recommending an MRI. Roxy is special to me because she is the first cat I’ve ever had. She is my cuddle bug she is so sweet and she loves to play with her sister Hurley. She loves to play with her toys her favorite is a ball and she runs around playing soccer with it. She also loves her toy where the ball spins in a circle. She is timid around new people but once she know them she’s playing and loving with them. I am in need of support to get Roxy’s MRI because I am a single. Only been in Tucson for 4 years and I do not have many people to help me. I work a full time job and live pay check to pay check and a whole paycheck goes to rent that does not leave me with much after that.
