Melly

Melly is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Auburn, MA, who needs $950 for Removing 1 Baby Tooth.

Auburn, MA

Melly is sweet 5 year old dog we love very much as a family member. Melly lives with me and my son currently in Auburn Massachusetts in a 2 bedroom apartment. Melly is only 5 years old, healthy overall, but needs a baby tooth removed and I can't afford it due to high monthly rent payment, I don't like to think she could be in pain still having the baby tooth decayed. Melly interacts well with people she knows, but is shy to strangers. She loves the outdoors, at home she goes out in the backyard without leash and is very good following instructions. My financial hardship is due to hight rent, 1850$ monthly, plus bills, food, cat and dog food(dry and wet food) cat litter, and other expenses related to them

Sadie

Sadie is a 3 year old Mix-Breed in Shrewsbury, MA, who needs $1,500 for Diagnostic Testing, X-rays, Medication, Surgery.

Shrewsbury, MA

I got Sadie from a friend two years ago, as she was rehoming some of her dogs and I was looking for a potential emotional support animal. Sadie and I bonded immediately upon meeting and we have been inseparable ever since. My 7 year old daughter also loves her immensely! We live in subsidized disabled adult housing and we live off of a very small fixed limited income. Sadie has some kind of facial fracture and we need help paying for diagnostic testing, X-rays, meds, and potential surgery. The vet clinic is VCA Abbott animal hospital, out of Worcester, Massachusetts. She is my assistance animal and emotional support animal. She's very clingy, affectionate, and helps me with my mental health symptoms daily. I don't know what I would do without her! I am scared of losing Sadie! We both need each other. We need emergency help! Any kind of help would be so appreciated! She's a special dog and she's my constant companion every day.

Sam

Sam is an 11-year-old Maine Coon Mix in Worcester, MA, who needs $671 for Abdomen Ultrasound.

Worcester, MA

We found Sam living in our backyard when he was a kitten. His mother was pregnant with another litter and had pushed him away. Although his mother was friendly with people, Sam was skittish and fearful. We would sit in the yard and talk to him and hand feed him tuna fish to gain his trust. After we brought him inside, he was happy to be safe and loved and quickly became part of the family. Sam can be very chatty and will talk back if we talk to him. His favorite toys as a kitten were small foam balls. He would carry his balls around, bounce them, and bat them around the house. Sam's favorite toy now is his stuffed bunny that he hunts and then presents to us. Sam is a sweetheart who loves to lay with his mom or get petted by his dad. He wrestles with his brother Roo too. Sam is a smart cat! He has figured out how to open kitchen drawers, probably looking for his toys! He can also sit and shake for his treats. Sam is very affectionate and gives lots of head butts. When Sam was a kitten he would suck and drool on his mom's shirt. He now has one of his dad's old shirt as a lovey that he still drools on when he is feeling snuggly. His cat mom was a drooler too! Sam has always been a big cat, weighing 13-14 pounds. He recently lost a bit of weight quickly and we are trying to find out why. Our vets at VCA Abbot did routine lab work but need to do an ultrasound to find out what is causing the weight loss. He also has resorptive lesions on some of his teeth that may need treatment in the future. Sam's dad is currently out of work due to mental health issues. This has severely limited the family's income, making it hard to afford all of the veterinary care that Sam needs. We are heartbroken at the thought of not being able to provide the care he needs.
