Lucy
Lucy is a 12 year old Mix-Breed in East Hartford, CT, who needs $2,000 for Dental Extractions.
East Hartford, CT
"Lucy's story Miss Lucy is not only my emotional support animal but also my best friend. She came into my life 7 years ago from a very dear friend of mine who used to run a kennel in South Windham Connecticut. She was abandoned at the kennel by her family at 5 years. She was very to see us. She was all over son, giving lots of kisses. We rescued her immediately. Lucy has always been in good health. Recently she went to her new vet VCA Animal Hospital who said she needed dental surgery to remove some teeth as she has dental issues. So I could not schedule any thing due to lack of funds. About one week ago I noticed one of her front teeth was very wiggly and now I have no choice. The vet estimate is between $1700-$2200. Lucy loves to interact with other dogs. Her best friend was another senior dog at the building we live at. Her name was Speedy. They would getting very playful when together. She is very attached to my daughter-in-law Amber. Lucy practically greets everyone that comes in the building. Everyone adores her. Lucy considers sugar snap peas as her chocolate. She loves talking me for a walk. 😆 I have been disabled for quite sometime. I am on a fixed income and unfortunately this treatment is too much for me. I get one check a month. Too see my baby enjoy favorite toys and chew bones would a joy for me too see her enjoying them pain free. Please help my girl 🙏 ❤

Bentley
Bentley is a 12 year old American Staffordshire Terrier in New Britain, , who needs $2,000 for Splenic Tumor Removal.
New Britain, CT
Bentley blessed our family 12 years ago when he joined us at just 6 weeks old. He has been the light of our lives ever since. From friends and family to complete strangers, everyone knows and loves him and his smiling face! He is a wonderful big brother to his adopted sister Indie, and has taught her everything she knows, from how to sit to how to ride in the car dog style. Last week I noticed Bentley wasn’t quite acting like his happy self. He was moving much more slowly than normal. And when he wouldn’t eat, even his favorite treat, I knew something was wrong. A trip to his vet, the VCA East Hartford confirm he has a tumor on his spleen. Although splenic tumors are common in dogs his age, it is imminent that surgery must be performed to remove the tumor ASAP. Bentley is one-of-a-kind! No matter what kind of day you’ve had, one look at Bentley will put a smile on your face. He’s sweet, loyal, caring and compassionate. He’s a big time mama’s boy and doesn’t let me out of his sight. I’ve been told by many that he should be an ambassador for the pit bull breed. His friendly, sweet demeanor, wagging tail, and smiley face says it all! Unfortunately this surgery means life or death for Bentley. However, I am in no financial position to be able to afford it by myself. Bentley is so special to us, he is like my second son! Just seeing him looking so sad, without that twinkle in his eyes is killing me.

Lexie
Lexie is a 1 year old Labrador Retriever in East Hartford, CT, who needs $1,250 for Heartworm Disease Treatment.
East Hartford, CT
Lexi is a rescue dog from Mobile Alabama. She was roaming the streets and had never been cared for. We took her back to Ct to give her a stable home and love and a family. She is a very sweet submissive girl and she loves to snuggle. She is housebroken but she does suffer from separation anxiety, probably from being moved around so many times. We truly want our home to be Lexi's 4ever home! Lexi has been diagnosed with heartworm disease, because she's only one. She is a good candidate for heartworm treatment. However, after paying her initial exams, vaccines, deworming and blood work out of pocket heartworm treatment was a very expensive, unexpected expense. Our family has grown very attached to Lexi and we would love to be able to keep her and help her get better. The doctor said she has a great prognosis Lexi is a love bug. She loves to snuggle. She thrives on attention. She follows you from room to room. She's extremely playful. Even though she's 12 months old, she's still acts like a puppy because she's never really been around other dogs. She loves to kiss and give kisses. I am my recently divorced single mother living paycheck to paycheck and I thought bringing home. Lexi would be a huge benefit for my family and initially it was. Unfortunately, without the heartworm treatment we do not know what the future holds, but we would love to continu
