Pinky
Pinky is a 15 year old Mix-Breed in Hamilton, ON, who needs $5,270 for Mastectomy.
Hamilton
I met my husband 2010 and after few months of our relationship we decide to adopt cat. We found Pinky through adoption agency, she was so persistent to be adopted that day, she was playing with us, cuddling, and we decided to adopt her. She has been with us 15 years and 3 months. We have adopted 3 more cats, Misha,Luna and Miki. We moved in Canada 5 years ago and we brought Pinky with us. Lats year in June, we found lump on her stomach. We took her immediately to see Vet, and he removed that lump, and after sending for biopsy, they said it was Mammary tumor. She was fine for 3 months, then that lump came back. They have sent us on Oncology hospital in Mississauga Oakville, and after CT scann, they said its good because its not spreading on organs and lungs but she needs surger. Pinky is the sweetest and most loving cat. She has such a gentle personality with us and always wants to be close to us. She follows us around the house, sits beside us, and makes us feel calm and comforted just by being there. She has her own little ways of showing love, whether it’s cuddling up next to me, looking at me with her soft eyes, or simply staying by my side. She’s very attached to us. At the sam time when she was diagnosed, our other cat Leo was diagnosed with aggressive cancer too, so we had to pay all those vet bills, taking care of Pinky and Leo too, and Pinky was in hospital for 2 days, and then Leo passed away, and in 5 months we were drowning in debt

Stripes
Stripes is a 4 year old Russian White, Black and Tabby in Mississauga, ON, who needs $10,000 for Removal of Blockage in Colon.
Mississauga
Stripes arrived in July of 2021 from a farm in Windsor. My mom was shown Stripes from a family friend a picked her out as a "mischievous" standout. Almost every day, when the weather is warmer, we play on the backyard, chase sticks, acorns, and, most importantly, 🐇! She was given a hydration shot plus medication. Unfortunately, the next day she was unable to drink and eat, was lethargic, would hide in a perched position, and would have been fatal had we not taking her back to VCA. She is now on an I.V. in stable condition. She is more of a stick person and enjoys light-weight projectiles more than toy mice. She is a busybody and enjoys patting you on the shoulder for food, running into your room with a mouse in mouth, and loves racing around up and down the steps. This was a sudden and shocking expense, I was told that the estimate for the surgery will be an estimated 8,000-10,000 dollars for the blockage removal surgery especially because, as I was told, it will take place after hours and the blockage is 1 by 2 centimeters.

Jinx
Jinx is a 10 year old Savannah in Hamilton, ON, who needs $2,000 for Endoscopy Biopsy.
Hamilton
I’ve had Jinx and Charm since they were 4 months old. They’re littermates and I raised them from kittens. Their younger brother, Hero, a German Shepherd, passed away 2 years ago. Jinx is incredibly empathetic and was my biggest support during that time, always running to me when I cried and cuddling me. He went through the grief of losing his brother too and I had to be there for him just as much Recently, Jinx's sister, Charm, was diagnosed with Small Cell Lymphoma. Being that they're siblings, it's likely that he also has Lymphoma. Blood tests show elevated white blood cells, and his ultrasound shows irregularities. We need to do a biopsy to get a diagnosis and start treatment. Like with Charm, we'll be doing this at Mississauga-Oakville Veterinary Emergency Hospital. Jinx is a remarkably intelligent and affectionate cat. He knows some tricks like sit, sit pretty, come, and kiss. He's also leash trained and likes going for walks around the block and also knows how to pee on the toilet. He's extremely friendly and just wants to follow people around as soon as he meets them. He's super cuddly and wants to cuddle me every time I sit down and every night. My cats are my best friends, and them both being sick is heartbreaking. I want to do everything I can to have more time with them. An injury at work left me without a job for a year. I finally found one, but it still isn’t enough to cover both of their veterinary care.
