Diesel has been with me since he was 8 months old. I am a single mom with 2 dogs. Diesel is mine and my son's best friend. He has been with me through many ups and downs in the 7 years we've been together. I don't know where I would be without him. Diesel had an obstruction that ended up needing surgical intervention. He is experiencing complications requiring IV fluids and medications. He has been hospitalized for 3 days and now needs to be transferred to emergency care to have an tube place into his stomach to get all the fluids out and needing food through that tube. He also needs IV medication to help get his gut moving. Diesel is truly mine and my son's best friend. He is so loyal and up for anything but is also very lazy at the same time. As long as he knows where we are, he's okay. My son is 5 and Diesel loves him so much, always has to be close to him. I am a single mother dealing with an emergent situation that I was not expecting to come up. He is my emotional support dog every day. I don't know where I would be without him. This is a devastating event. My son and I would not be able to handle losing him.
