A littler of kittens

A littler of kittens is a 1 month old Mix-Breed in Holladay, UT, who needs $2,000 for Possible Fading Kitten Syndrome.

Holladay, UT

My sister reached out to me a few weeks ago. Her cat has had yet another litter of kittens 8 in total, except this letter of kittens she stopped taking care of at about three weeks old. She stopped feeding them. She stopped cleaning them just overall taking care of them. So I took them in and have been fostering them the best that I can we were doing really well all up until about a week ago. I’m not sure what is wrong with them? I need to get emergency help for them covering care and treatment. I have lost three kittens so far, one of the black ones has a really goopy eye that’s swollen and as you can see the little gray one isn’t doing so well I’m afraid I’m going to lose that one next. I just don’t have the funds to cover costs for their care and treatment they may need. In the beginning, they were really plump and not so frail and fragile. Even being this way, they like to play &; they’re really huge cuddle bugs. I’m afraid if I don’t get the help to figure out what is wrong with them and get them the proper treatment. I am going to lose all of them. Which makes my mama heart sad. Especially for this gray one that’s not doing too well. I have been taken out of work permanently due to my mental health I am in the process of fighting for my social security disability, I live on a housing voucher and have very little income but do the best with what I’ve got. I could really use this help for these kittens.

Bugger & Babii

Bugger & Babii is a 3 month old Mix-Breed in Taylorsville, UT, who needs $2,000 for Diagnostic Testing and Supportive Care.

Taylorsville, UT

Ive had these two sibling puppies since they were 7 weeks old. I've done everything I can to care for them and give them love, even as their conditions have worsened. I’ve tried to make their world as comfortable and safe as possible. One of the puppies has started having seizures, and both now seem to be in growing discomfort due to the limited mobility. I jdon't nwant them to struggle no more. My puppies have had mobility issues since birth and now suffer from pain, body misalignment, and seizures. I’m seeking help for diagnostics and potential treatment. I just want them to be comfortable and not suffer. A free exam was done at VCA Animal Hospital, but no diagnostics could be performed due to cost. I’m trying to do what’s right with the little I have. Our two puppies are special because they share a quiet strength despite never being able to walk. They each have unique, calm personalities and show affection in their own gentle ways. Together, they remind our family daily about patience, resilience, and unconditional love. Our puppies need costly medical care and treatments we can’t afford right now. Having support would mean the world—giving them comfort, better quality of life, and hope. It would lift a huge burden from us and help us focus on giving them the care they deserve.

Mellie

Mellie is a 9 year old Miniature Schnauzer in Millcreek, UT, who needs $2,000 for Cystolithotomy.

Millcreek, UT

We got Mellie as a puppy 9 years ago. She’s always been such a central part of our lives and has been a constant companion to her two sisters. Earlier this year she lost one of her sisters to GDV and she has been struggling with grief, but has at least had her other sister to keep her company. They usually play together and spend every moment of every day together, especially working from home. Mellie started having issues with eating a little over a week ago and we took her to VCA Cottonwood in Utah to be evaluated as she could barely move. They had let us know that she looked okay, but does have a large amount of bladder stones that need to be removed. Without these she is not able ti function normally or even walk because of the pain of having them. It goes without saying that Mellie is such an important part of our family dynamic. Her and her sister have always been close and it is so heartbreaking to see that she can’t stay by her sister because of the illness she is facing and the amount of rest she is having because it’s easier than her doing anything physical. Even eating or drinking or going potty has been almost impossible for her. It’s been a very difficult year financially for everyone. Unfortunately we have lost both of our cars due to insurance totaling them out. We also had medical challenges with Mellie’s sister that came with unexpected medical bills. We just want to give her the care she needs.

Mocha

Mocha is a 6 year old American Shorthair in Draper, UT, who needs $500 for Steroids/Antibiotics Testing.

Draper, UT

Mocha was born to a new mom that didn’t know what to do. We had to take her from her early to save her life. She has been the best friend to our daughter. She has a personality that makes me laugh. She talks when she thinks she’s home alone. She has even found out where the security cameras are in the house and sits in front of it and says “hello” “ mom” Mocha has something wrong with her lips. They are swollen and plink. They have a canker looking sore under her lip. We have tried everything we can to help her. We changed food, tried bag balms. The vet did have her on a steroid treatment but that didn’t work. They need to try something different. I lost my job in December and we don’t have any income at all. To just make an appointment is $150.00 Mocha watches cat tv. She loves to be wherever you are. Every night after dinner she cuddles with my husband, her papa. She talks back like a teenager. She tells you what she wants. We can’t imagine our lives without her. I lost my job due to my disability. We don’t have any income at all right now. She needs treatment as soon as possible. We don’t have the money to even make an appointment.

Littlefoot

Littlefoot is a 6 month old Mix-Breed in Sandy, UT, who needs $2,000 for Aspiration Pneumonia Treatment.

Sandy, UT

Littlefoot came to CBW before Thankgiving like any other dog - as a camper boarding with us for a few nights. When her stay with us was up, her owner refused to claim her and she became CBW Sandy's first abandoned dog. Littlefoot is a favorite at Camp and as much as we joke about taking the dogs home, we are happy they have loving families to return to. We are looking for the same for Littlefoot! Littlefoot woke up normal and healthy but around noon she threw up small pools of clear liquid. What we did not yet know is she aspirated the liquid and her health was about to take a turn. 2 hours later she was curled up in a corner when her best friend, a heeler named Voodoo, began pacing and pointing at her. We evaluated and rushed her to VCA Cottonwood Hospital where they thankfully saved her! Littlefoot is one of the happiest dogs our staff has ever met! She is always ready for playtime or naptime and loves friends - human, dog and cat! She is extremely sweet, friendly, trusting and very trainable. She deserves the best this world has to offer and unfortunately has so far experienced some of the worst. Please help Camp Bow Wow pay for Littlefoot's life-saving treatment! This sweet pup is ready to move on and grow up in a loving home - we are happy we were able to help her on her journey but unfortunately can not afford the expense! Please donate to help CBW and Littlefoot!

Diamond

Diamond is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Midvale, UT, who needs $2,000 for Pyometra Surgery.

Midvale, UT

Diamond was adopted by my husband Eddy in 2016 as a puppy. They have been inseparable since the moment they met, and Eddy would do ANYTHING for Diamond. When Eddy and I met, Diamond very quickly found a home in my heart as well. She is the sweetest dog who loves every person she meets! Diamond has pyometra and is having emergency surgery. In October, she started having some symptoms of what I thought was a UTI after completing her heat cycle. I took her to the vet but couldn't afford more than the exam. Got what I could at the petstore to help as best as I could, and Diamond seemed to improved. This weekend that changed and by Monday morning I knew this was very serious. Diamond is the sweetest little girl who loves every single person she meets. You are her best friend from the moment you start scratching her head. She loves walks and playing tug, and would do anything for a treat! Her favorite foods are carrots, cucumbers, and peanut butter. She is well known at our local Dutch Bros since I can't help but get her a pup cup when we are out for a drive together. Unfortunately, my husband Eddy hasn't seen Diamond since July as he joined the US Army and is completing his training right now. As expected, funds are a bit tight with him being gone, so it would mean the world to us to have our sweet girl back home and healthy.

Honey

Honey is a 5 month old Mix-Breed in Cottonwood Heights , UT, who needs $2,000 for Leg Surgery.

Cottonwood Heights, UT

So I picked up Honey on the side of the road in front of a Smiths. There were 2 ladies selling different puppies in a dog run. My daughter had been asking for a dog or puppy for so long and I kind of made a sporadic decision & decided to buy her. Unfortunately I never got any paperwork or proof of shots like i was promised. She lives with me and my 15 year old daughter in an apartment complex. My Honey unfortunately broke her back right leg in 2 places. The tibia & right under her knee. She was running her heart out like she always does outside the complex up & down the stairs. I was told by VCA Cottonwood Animal Hospital where Dr. Jeffery Porter seen her that she needs an almost $4,000 surgery to put a plate & screw in to fix it.So for now she has a splint which comes with complications So Honey loves to eat the white dandelions outside and squished snails & really any food. She's a puppy so she's very energetic & rambunctious all the time. At first I wanted to not keep her because she's a lot of work. She's still so young and has a full life ahead of her. I would love to see her run again and fetch her favorite toys & play catch me if you can. So the splint she has on can cause her to be deformed forever. I have no emergency funds & I'm a single mom trying to make ends meet. All these follow up appointments require me to pay for radiographs & re bandaging that I also cannot afford. I'm stuck not knowing what to

Lucy

Lucy is a 4-month-old Pitbull/Lab in Tooele, UT, who needs $2,000 for Limp Amputation.

Tooele, UT

Lucy was given to my daughter from a friend as a gift. We have had Lucy for about 2 months. She was only 8 weeks old when she came into our family. We have another dog who is a Malodor. Lucy has blessed us with her unique personality and her love of being the baby! Lucy was named by my 6 year old daughter. Who chose her name and calls it short for Lucifer as my youngest is also the baby. Lucy is a very active puppy. This summer Lucy found her love of the outdoors with our family. From biking trips, hikes, camping and the mountains. She is a very adventurous dog who enjoys everything with the family. Lucy loves to race to see how fast she can run up and down the stairs. Lucy jumps with joy when it is time to play dress up and her 6 year old best friend! Lucy loves to be pampered and carried in her dog carrier. Lucy knows she is very special to our family and that we will do anything she wants. Lucy's unique smile when she gets her bestfriends cuddles will make you tear in happiness. She is very easy going. She jumps with joy every time you walk in. And will stop anyone in their tracks to take that minute to love on her and smile. While on our outing Lucy had fallen from the bed our Truck where she injured her back right femur bone, breaking it. After visiting the emergency vet on 10/30/2022 just moments after the accident, it has been determined that she is need of limb amputation. We hope to have it done on 11/04/2022 as the earliest. This tragedy was completely unexpected and we do not have the funds for this unexpected emergency. We just experienced a loss of income when my husband had to have back surgery just a month ago, who is the biggest income provider to our family.
