Fritz is a 1 Year Old German Shepherd Dog in Berlin, CT, Who Needs $1,000 for X-ray, Exam, Blood Work and Antibiotics.

Fritz is a pure Breed German Shepard that I got when we bought our new house. I got him for my daughter as soon as we bought our house. He lives with me, my daughter and my two sons. I have another dog who is older that he has been growing up with. My oldest just moved back in with me and recently bought a puppy that is his dog. He takes care of her. The puppy and Fritz have done great together. I haven’t had a chance to take Fritz to the vet as I am struggling too much at the moment. Bills are high, food is expensive and now Fritz had thrown up one day and the past three days after that he has had diarrhea. I’ve tried rice, boiled chicken, probiotic food and anti diarrhea meds. Poor thing still has it. I can’t even afford to take him to the vet as I’m completely broke and cant get loans. Fritz is our baby, our protector of the running leafs in our front yard, my daughter’s therapy when she comes home and is strugging, he’s energetic and has learned to be an amazing dog. He loves to play fetch outside in our yard with my daughter. He follows us everywhere and listens fairly well when we tell him to do something such as go in his crate. I’m heartbroken taking him out all hours of the day and night and seeing him struggling to go to the bathroom. I want to see our baby healthy again and stop having diarrhea so I can get him to eat more as he has lost weight and looks too skinny.

Babygirl was 4 months old when I got her, I got her for free to be used as an emotional support dog. When I got her she was very skittish and stayed by my side with her tail tucked under her. It took awhile for her to trust me and now she is always by my side. My dog is now healthy. The place that I live is telling me she needs to be fixed or I can not keep her. Hey vet is CVA animal hospital in Cromwell ct. and they charge like 700.00 to get her spayed. I can not get her fixed with out her getting all her shots I did get her some but the rest is going to cost about another 300.00. BabyGirl has two of my friends that she as wrapped around her paw. When the phone rings she picked up her head hopping it will be one of them and when they come over she just goes crazy barking and talking up a storm and running around the apartment. She loves toys with squeakers in them and she can get one out of the toy in10 minutes. Her favorite treat is chicken wrapped sweet potatoes. I am on a fixed income and it will mean a lot to get the care she needs. It would be devastating to me and it could be life threatening to her for she is so very close to me and my friends and her surroundings

I got Hobbes from another family who could no longer care for him. He is my little buddy and sleeps next to me on my pillow every night. I have had him for about 3 years. He is a beautiful little orange bundle of joy and I can't imagine life without him. He loves to hang out on the bed and watch television with me. Hobbes loves to watch squirrels from the bedroom window and chase flies. He loves his little football toy and his stuffed platypus and stuffed pig. He is beautiful and orange and friendly and I love waking up every morning and seeing his little face. He loves the peaceful atmosphere in my home. I love him so very much. Hobbes loves meeting all my friends when they come to the house. He loves his treats and eats them off of my desk. He must have his treats twice a day and will loudly demand them if he does not get them. He loves my old cat Loki and the two of them will cuddle together when I am at work. He is really the best. Hobbes has some bladder stones which require surgery. He had a chronic blockage which has been fixed but he will require surgery to remove the stones from his bladder. I just want my little boy to be okay because he is so very special to me. I hope and pray that I do not lose him because I love him so very much. This was an unexpected and major expense. I own my home and live alone and must deal with all of my household expenses. I have already paid over $3000 to remove the urinary blockage but the surgery will be another $4000.
