Atom

Atom is a 9 year old Chihuahua in Colorado Springs, CO, who needs $2,000 for Dental Xrays, Teeth Extraction, Abscess Drain.

Colorado Springs, CO

Atom came into my life 4 weeks after my ptevious dog died a tragic and sudden death. The rescue I got him from saw my grief from the passing of my previous dog at an adoption event, and gave Atom to me for free. We have been together for 8 glorious years. We have travelled all over the US together. He is my soul dog, and I am his universe. Atom has an abscessed tooth. He has been showing signs of infection and illness. I was finally able to get him to the vet with my very last packcheck from my job that laid me off, 5 days after he started showing illness. I was able to pay only $466 for xrays and antibiotics. But he will need additional dental xrays and extractions. We go to Dublin Animal Hospital im Colorado Springs. My dog Atom has been with me the longest of any pet. I have had 3 dogs in my life die tragically after less than 4 years of age. Atom has been with me for 8. He is my service dog, he can smell my blood sugar and alert me when it is low. He flys all over the country with me. He is a total mamas boy, and I am his entire universe. He doesn't care for other people or animals, and he is silly and smart I just lost my job due to taking too much time off in a 90 day span. I contraced a super rare bacterial infection and was hospitalized for a week. And soon after caught COVID. During the COVID, one of my childhood best friends passed and I went to the funeral. Was let go.

Snoop

Snoop is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Colorado Springs, CO, who needs $2,000 for Abdominal Surgery.

Colorado Springs, CO

Hello, Our dog, Snoop, is a rescue dog that has a 15 year old sibling dog named Melo. Snoop is 7 years old and is an awesome companion. Snoop lives in a household with 5 other family members. He has been my walking companion for the last 10 years. He loves the outside, playing ball, playing toys, and sitting cuddling with all members of the family. For the past month Snoop has not been himself. He has been through many tests to see why he won’t eat and we have taken him to 4 vets as they each tried to figure out what was wrong. After already charging care credit 3500.00, today we found out that Snoop has a foreign object and needs immediate surgery. This surgery will cost anywhere between 3500-5000 dollars. Surgery is at Dublin VCA clinic Snoop must be part husky. He loves to talk, play and love on any person in our home. We are devastated by the diagnosis and can’t fathom not having Snoop as a part of our life. When my husband lost his dad, Snoop never left his side. He is that kind of caring, loving dog. He also has been a devoted brother to our other dog Melo and I worry what may happen to our older dog if Snoop is not around. Unfortunately, we do not have the money to pay for his surgery. We are heartbroken by what may happen if Snoop does not receive the surgery. Over the few years, we will be paying off the 3500.00 bill that already accumulated. With the news today we are at a loss.
