Princess is a 7-year-old Yorkshire Terrier in san diego, CA, who needs $2,000 for Cataract Phaco Bilateral.

Princess came into my life when she was 3 weeks old. Her mother was sick and was not able to breast feed her so I had to take care of her early on and feed her formula. She is now 7 years old and the bond we have is unconditional. We currently live in a house with 2 roommates. She is so sweet and loves to play with family and friends that come over. She loves the attention. Princess has a few beds she can sleep on and she also sleeps on my bed with me. Sometimes she enjoys her own space and sleeps on her bed on floor next to mine. Except for the winter time when she's cold, she likes to be under my covers with me. She absolutely loves people and loves to play fetch and soccer. Princess is such a bright dog. I've never had a dog so smart. She likes to play with her dog puzzles, and plays soccer in the backyard. She will literally tell me ( in her own way of course) when she wants to go outside to play soccer. She is obsessed with her toys and I've named every single one of them for her and she knows all the names of them. Princess is only 7 years old and was diagnosed with cataract when she was 6. It saddens me because she is so young and for her to lose her vision and not enjoy the things she does now like playing soccer and finding her toys when i play fetch would be heartbreaking. I've been going to an eye clinic for animals and doing follow ups and eye drops for her eyes to prevent inflammation. This has been a very expensive unexpected cost for me. The cost of her treatment is a total of $10,000. This is something I can't afford for what I make at my job and with inflation right now. I would be so appreciative of any help I can get right now with her treatment.
