I adopted Toby from the humane society 15 years ago he is the most adorable precious cat, he’s been my companion we have been through a lot together. Toby is my comfort pet, I went through dark times and I this little tame creature has always been there. I want a few more years with him. He deserve a good life. Toby always meets me at the door when I come home and never leaves my side it’s like he knows life is tough and he’s here to comfort me. Everyone who meets him instantly falls in love with him. Toby was omitting a little bit of food which sometimes is normal when he is trying to get a hairball out. But this time he started vomiting liquid all night. His breathing is shallow, he drank some water but it’s hard to keep it down. I can tell he’s not feeling well but he ls still trying. I can’t afford the emergency clinic, the clinic that is near me is Animal Services. I live paycheck to paycheck, I do have a job but I don’t get paid until a few days from now, and I can’t find anyone to help. I have $25 on a credit card, I’m afraid Toby’s not going to make it.
Teddy

Teddy came to us from a family friend who was unable to care for his needs. I had known him since he was a puppy, and had a deep bond with him. He came at just the right time, providing the missing piece to our family! He came to us 20 pounds underweight, and was a skeleton with no outlet for his energy. Now he gets tons of walks and runs, playtime with his furry siblings, and at a healthy weight! Teddy is a polite gentleman, as he isn't one to get in your space unless he is scared. That is, until he comes over and burps directly in your face after eating! He loves flopping onto fresh grass and rolling around and running as far as his leash or fence will take him! He also loves his pitty "sister" and kitty "brother", playing with them will always get him excited, bouncing like a puppy again Teddy gives the best hugs we have ever recieved! He is such a tall giraffe that he can reach our shoulders and then leans into the hugs with his whole heart. He loves to lay in funky positions which never cease to make us laugh, and surprises us constantly with the behaviors he picks up without much training. Teddy has had a lump on his back right leg, originally diagnosed as a fatty tumor, which was first noticed in December 2022. Since then, the lump has only grown, and now after another check of the cells, our vet no longer believes it to be a lipoma, but the worst case scenario: cancer. Due to its size, growth, location, and his health history, the vet has determined we must remove the lump soon. Aside from everyone's trying times, this is our third major medical Veterinary need within the last year for us. We no longer have the funds/credit for another massive expense. Teddy has only just started living the life he deserves, and we have so much more we want to do!
