Quota came to us through a breeder at one year old in January 2015. They weren't able to breed her because of her torn ACL so we paid for the surgery and she became our loving addition. 8 months later we gained another addition of a ferrel kitten. The two became inseparable. Or so the cat thinks. They sleep and play together still after five years. In the evenings when we retire to the bedroom, in trots the kitty in front of us and Quota patiently waits until we are settled in the bed before joining us. Both especially look forward to popcorn nights (Their favorite!). Quota sometimes is the brunt of Howard's tantrums but gets even when she accidentally steps on him. She forgets how big she is. Quota is always so loving and fun. We have spent so much on surgeries and appointments but I have since lost my job and have less income. It would be a hardship to pay for this surgery that's needed at this time so we are asking for assistance as hard as that is for us to do Several years ago Quota damaged her eye and it progressively got worse. Our veterinarian felt she was in a lot of pain and suggested we have it removed. We had the surgery done at VCA Sandy Animal Hospital by Dr. Spencer. About a year later the swelling in the eye socket got much worse. I saw Quota's doctor three times a specialist twice. It has now gotten to the point of exploratory surgery. The first night we got her we let her sleep in our room with us. Oh my! She snorts like a pig and snores like a dinosaur! We had never experienced this with any other previous dog. So only bedtime TV but off to her own bed in the living room at night so we can all sleep. We have to laugh at times when her snoring disrupts our TV program. But we would never trade her for anything.
