Apopka, FL

Knox was a rescue from the age of 6 weeks old. He is a sweet inside kitty and i rescued another baby who looks just like him named Lucas. Knox is the best cat anyone could ever have and is the most playful cat even at his age, I am a disabled veteran and Knox is the therapy dog i never had. He understands me and i hug on him about 8 to 10 hours per day, His nickname is Knox on box on socks I am a veteran with PTSD and this cat means the absolute world to me. He LOVES me to chase him and talks alot to me. He knows when im panicking and comes to let me pet when he knows im in need of his love. Which is all the time. Lucas is the same but Knox just understands me. Lucas is Knox's baby and they play so well together. They both sleep with me and talk to me He's my life. He is my best friend. He is my world. I am sane because of Knox, He waits to "ring the doorbell" for me to feed him..Its a bowl that I keep the food covered in and he knocks on it to be fed. He is so smart! The very best pet Ive ever had. They both are. this was just an emergency situation that he had a kidney infection and was throwing up blood and had to be rushed to the vet who saved him but he was hospitalized overnight. I paid a friend to to lend me the $2300 I also have a 30 yr old autistic son that I support who has epilepsy. It just got hard really fast and I'm by myself and just need help to pay my friend back for helping me My autistic son Brandon lost his job and had just gotten on his own at 30 yrs old. He was seizing at work and now i have to pay his rent and Knox's bill and I'm severly overwhelmed

Rocco

Rocco is a 10-year-old Chihuahua in Altamonte Springs, FL, who needs $1,000 for US Guided Abdominocentesis Every 3 to 4 weeks.

Altamonte Springs, FL

10 years ago my son got Rocco for me as a Mother’s Day present from a rescue place in Tennessee that was in June 2013. He was transported here to us in Florida and he was the best thing I’ve ever had we’ve had dogs before but I’ve never had one. That’s been being close to me Rocco is a Chihuahua mix and he stays years old and he weighs right now 25 pounds due to his heart failure and ascites. Rocco is such a blessing to our household. He interacts with the other Chihuahuas that we have and loves to look out the window with the other Chihuahuas and just stay there all day watching the cars go bye he loves taking car rides and sticking his head out of the window, when the weather permits we take him for a walk but lately we haven’t been since he gets so short of breath, Rocco is the only dog that has been close to me of all the dogs we’ve had for years. He follows me around wherever I go and he just stays with me whatever and wherever I go around the house. He makes me laugh. Just getting on his back and wants to be rubbed all the time when he’s on the sofa I love him so much. Rocco was diagnosed with mitral valve, heart disease, high blood pressure and heart failure a year ago In March this year developed ascites. The old vet wanted to euthanize him. I took him to another vet and they have been draining his stomach every three weeks. It is costing over $400 to drain his stomach every three weeks. I am retired I’m 72 years old and on Social Security and my husband just lost his job and he’s still looking and Rocco is my love he is so close to me, and I cannot imagine euthanizing him.
