Mocha Marie
Mocha Marie is a 4 month old Mix-Breed in Battle Creek, MI, who needs $3,000 for Imaging and Intestinal Blockage Removal.
Battle Creek, MI
Mocha was a birthday gift from a neighbor during a very hard part of Nevaeh's life. The struggle from young adult to an adult has been rough. Mocha was only 7 weeks old when she was given to her. They established a quick bond to each other and filled many voids in their hearts together. Mocha is supposed to be a future service animal for Nevaeh to help her with her severe Anxiety, Depression. 3 days ago Mocha started vomiting and having diarrhea. I Taryn (her cousin) took them in and got her seen by a veterinarian at Lakeview Veterinary clinic in battle creek Michigan. Mocha needs xrays 3 of them due to a blockage just above the colon, but they don't have the machines to get them done and referred us to 7 other veterinary places for imagining. We called every one and they said no. Mocha is so sweet with her baby cousin that's 2 years old. They get along so well the baby sleeps with her sometimes. Nevaeh is deeply connected to Mocha and they go everywhere together. Mocha loves meeting new people and is very well behaved Mocha started pooping blood and Noone will do the xrays so we are taking her to the VCA Emergency vet hospital in Kalamazoo as we speak. The Vet who saw her earlier said she needs emergency help and Neither of us can afford these bills. Mocha deserves to live

Ayla
Ayla is a 4.5 year old Mix-Breed in Grand Junction, MI, who needs $1,000 for Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy ( TPLO ).
Grand Junction, MI
Ayla's life began when a local stray found her mama just minding her own business...she was born in march of 2020 and joined her new family in May of 2020. Our house is a four pet home - two cats and two dogs. Our girl is in need of a critical surgery to replace her CCL on her rear right knee. The injury is degenerative and the CCL is totally gone. She's been limping for over a year and we have been nursing her along with leash walks and cage rest. The injury did seem to heal for a while and she was "back to normal" until the winter of 2023, deep snow caused her knee to be twisted funny. Poor baby. I saw a Facebook Reel recently that asked the question "does your dog know your name?" and I thought to myself "No, no she does not". The following morning while enjoying morning coffee and Ayla sitting on the couch next to me I said "hey girl, do you know my name?" and she locked eyes with me. I said "Your name is Ayla, and my name is Trish. Now you know my..." and she open-mouth kissed me! Ayla is very large, and that has driven the expenses up and out of my reach at this time. At 96 lbs the cost for just the surgery is $5,200 - not including her consultations (already paid) and post-op care items (not yet paid for). Grand total is pushing on $6,000.
