We adopted Tilly 9 years ago from Angels helping animals we picked up Tilly at woods hole in Massachusetts took her to the vet had her leg x-rayed and realized she needed emergency surgery Tillie was a year old when we adopted her The veterinarians at VACC animal hospital told us most probably her leg had been broken as a puppy we went ahead with surgery and rebuilt Tilly's leg Tillie's knee and tendon are out of place Tillie needs surgery to repair her leg once again but because her condition is considered pre-existing she is not covered under Trupanion. Cape cod veterinary specialists is the animal hospital that would perform Tilly's surgery We adopted Tully after we lost our dog Gretel to cancer Tilly is a special case her leg was broken for a year before we adopted her she suffered so much we couldn't return her so we took our savings and spent the $10,000 to repair her leg. Tilly has a brother newbie and my husband and I would be brokenhearted if we couldn't help her she's in pain everyday and we're trying to come up with the funds My husband is disabled he can no longer work I work 6 to 7 days a week to support our household we have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on pet insurance but we are not covered for this surgery Lee and I have spent over $2,000 just to have tillie diagnosed

We got Onyx as a rescue when he was just 3 months old. We also have another dog named Ruby that we adopted from the same shelter. Since we already had Ruby, we decided to name him after another gemstone and felt Onyx was fitting since he's mostly black. From his first day home we knew he was going to be super friendly. He believes everyone is his friend, or at least wants to be.:) Onyx was healthy until he started limping last November. Initially he was treated with sedatives, anti-inflammatory meds, and bed rest. After that he had X-rays in January. A referral to Cape Cod Vet Specialists revealed a fully torn ACL requiring TTA surgery with metal plates attached to his knee. The Dr. said damage began before symptoms, so insurance now considers it a pre-existing condition. Onyx is a loving, high-energy pup who loves to run and play. He’s cuddly and hates being alone, always wanting to sleep with someone, especially my 10-year-old step-daughter. He’s full of energy and is the silliest dog, playing with cats, our other dog, neighbors' dogs—anyone who’ll give him 5 seconds of attention! He is also very dopey, often caught liking windows for no apparent reason. I’m the sole income as my partner is out of work due to a broken shoulder. Onyx’s symptoms started after he was insured, but the vet found his ACL tear began earlier, so insurance won’t cover it. The surgery costs up to $6,900. We just want Onyx to be healthy and happy again

We got Gigi as a present for Christmas a few years ago for the whole family which was myself, husband, daughter and cat at the time. We just added another daughter to the family that Gigi is great with. I had wanted a boy dog but saw her and had to have her. Gigi is best friends with our cat Dash and they have always gotten along great. In November we brought her to urgent care due to her limping and they said her knee was swollen but did not do X-rays.. She’s taken pain medications but she continued to limp so she went to our home town vet and got X-rays that show degenerative changes and most likely acl tears in both hind legs. We will be going to cape cod veterinary specialists for surgery. Gigi is special to us because she’s always been a great dog. She learned and has always listened so well. She gets along great with everyone even other dogs. She will bark whenever people come to the house but always submits and just wants love from everyone. At the dog park she would get along with all dogs big and small. We currently have a 1 month old baby and money is tight. We will be able to get care credit but unsure if it will cover the full cost. Any help is greatly appreciated.

We rescued Bentley at 10 weeks old back in February of 2018. He lives with me and my husband and our other dog Kaia. We also have a baby on the way, so Bentley is going to be a big brother. Bentley unfortunately suffered an ACL tear a few weeks ago and requires surgery to regain function of his leg. We are scheduling surgery with Cape Cod Vet Specialists. Bentley is a major love bug. He loves to cuddle, eat treats, and run around the yard with his sister Kaia. He loves people and is very friendly, and most of all he loves kids. He enjoys snuggling with our nieces, and can’t wait until he gets to meet our new addition to the family this January. We are expecting a baby, due in January. This is a financial burden in itself, and now we have the unexpected cost of surgery for Bentley. Anything is helpful during this time.

Hello, I'm writing this plea for help about my beautiful girl TESSA. She's came to us as a puppy six short years ago and was an extremely active companion. but now since her injury, she tore her ACL she in pai and depressed. She waits at the door every night when I come home from work waggling her tailless butt SO HAPPY! our grandkids can't wait to hit the back yard and play games with her, When the Vet said she required immediate surgery costing between $7000.00. We called several orthopedic surgeons and the one we settled on is TUFTS Veterinary. They have availability to get her in and are under an hour commute for us. I had unsuccessful back surgery 2 years ago leaving my mobility challenged impacting my job and home life. I need to help her TESSA, came into our lives just six short years ago in part to be an inspiration for our aging golden retriever TANK. She did a wonderful job in his therapy allowing us a couple more years of love and friendship. Tessa is a beautiful soul who just loves everyone she comes in contact with she happiest out playing in the backyard running and jumping, sadly she can't do any of it. Lost wages, medical bills from the wife surgery have drained our life savings, we are in desperate need for assistance with this extremely high financial burden. Watching my beautiful girl struggling just to walk and her lack of joy is heart breaking. I'm not beyond begging

Babygirl came into my life in 2010 when she hopped in my mother bag at the shelter. She along with her mother & sister were found in a box on the side of a highway, Babygirl was the only one to survive. Babygirl then moved from my parents house to my husbands & my home after her well established bond with me. She has been the Queen of the house since, occasionally acknowledging her new cat sister. When living at my parents house with 3 other male cats, Babygirl developed a skin condition. It was hard to manage with other cats with a strict diet, so moving with me was the best for her care. After a change in diet, we discovered she was allergic to seafood. Her white blood cell count has always been high due to the allergy but in recent visits to the vet, a Mass/ Tumor was discovered. Babygirl, also known as Ma'am in her later years has a personality like no other. She knows shes the queen of the house & has just about everyone wrapped around her paw. She demands attention, she will yell at you if you do not give it to her. She loves to lay on your shoulders like a parrot and will always come down the stairs to vocally tell you its time for bed. She will then escort you up. My Babygirl is my child, I have had her through my toughest of times. Through my endometriosis diagnoses to my husbands affair resulting in an affair child. She is my rock through it all. I have maxed out credit cards trying to pay for her health but its becoming too much.

Nova is one of two beloved Huskies in our home. She is a chatty 9 year old sharing her joy with our family and winning personality. We are so lucky daily to have her and to be connected with so many because of her. Nova tore her ACL, potentially from an uncoordinated stumble down a few stairs. She has been to her normal vet for a recent Anal Gland abscess and received an xray and physical exam at that visit for a limp in her left leg. She was provided several options with surgery being the best option for larger dogs. We have a consultation at Cape Code Veterinary Specialists on the 29th. Nova is a normally a quiet gentle soul but in recent years really found her voice. She’s known for being the MOST excited when a visitor comes over and for peaking the interest of “Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill)” when she did her best impression of Chewbacca at the drive thru in Dunkin. TikTok is filled with plenty of Nova content as we love to share the joy she brings us with the world. The surgery will be about $5500-$7000. A few months ago we had to put a cat down & within the past couple weeks we treated a number of anal gland issues and an abscess in Nova. We are working OT & pooling resources but any and all help is so appreciated for our girl! 🫶🏼

We got Tay the same week our son was born. He doesn’t know life without him and we don’t want to either just yet. He loves his kids as much as they love him and we’re trying to be able to make this work for all of them. While with our nephew he got out of the yard and was involved in a hit and run. His leg is pretty badly broken and needs surgery, we are trying everything we can to get the funds so we don’t have to put him down or surrender him. Hes being treated currently at Cape Cod Veterinary specialist in Bourne. He loves to play in the yard with his human brother who was born when he was only 8 weeks old! We live on a small farm and he’s the sweetest soul with all our animals especially the babies. He’s still loving and happy, I feel completely awful this happened to a dog as sweet as he is We’re on a fixed income and have a very small emergency fund. This will wipe us out and put us in a great amount of debt we won’t really be able to pay off. I’m trying to do everything I can to make sure my toddler doesn’t have to loose his best friend

When Kodi came into our life 7 years ago, we had no idea what we were in for! As a puppy, he was always getting into trouble, chewing everything in sight and annoying his big brother, Brady. From an early age, he learned how much he loves challenges, figuring out how to escape any and all confinement. All he ever wants to do is run at full speed and dig as many holes as he can. Kodi recently returned from one of his escapades with an injured hind leg. We don’t know how it happened, but there is a break in his ankle joint, requiring intensive surgery to repair. Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists will need to fuse the tarsal joints and insert a disc to reattach the tissues and tendons. We need to act quickly to ensure best recovery results, surgery is scheduled for Tues 4/9 Kodi is stubborn and independent, like most huskies, but the love and devotion he has for our family is unquestionable. He enjoys his adventures but always returns to us with excitement. He is so gentle with the kids and allows them to climb on him and snuggle, while he kisses them all over. He enjoys a good game of fetch, until he gets distracted, and he could run through the forest for hours! The surgery costs $7,886, far greater than what we’ve saved in our emergency fund. It is difficult to ask for help, but we need it - whether you can afford prayers or small donations, we would be so grateful for your generosity. Kodi needs our love and care!

Levi came into our lives 3 weeks ago and became an instant best friend with our two toddler boys. Levi was born in Mississippi and rescued through the Animal Rescue of New England. Levi is a loving, fun, extremely sweet baby boy. Every morning my boys are so excited to see him and cannot wait to take him outside to play. He is becoming better at fetch and loves his chew toys. Levi loves other dogs, car rides, and people. He is literally the sweetest baby ever and deserves a chance at life. Our two toddlers would be devastated to lose him. A few days ago Levi became lethargic and wasn’t eating as much. He starting throwing up so we took him to our local vet. They found extremely elevated kidney levels and sent me to veterinary specialists. There they tested him for all sorts of thing and discovered that he had Leptospirosis. This is caused by infected rodent urine and causes kidney and liver damage. We do not have the funds necessary to hospitalize and treat Levi’s condition and would appreciate any support possible. Levi needs to stay at the hospital for multiple days to get antibiotics and IV fluids regularly.

Drama was born at my parents house and I help with the birth of him and his siblings. I beg my parents to let me keep one of the puppies. I had trained him and his sister to sit and give paw pretty much as soon as they could walk. My parents were impressed at how fast I could teach them and saw that I was responsible enough to keep him. He is now 12 years old and hasn’t left my side. Drama is my dogs name and he totally lives up to his name. He loves the snow, running outside licking the snow off the ground but when he has had enough, he sits there and looks at me to come pick him up and bring him back inside. He is such a cuddle bug and loves people. He is such a flirt whenever a girl comes over to visit. Every night he comes back to sleep with me and has to be touching me. Drama is so special to me because I have had him since day 1 of his life and he is my 1st pet. He is my best friend and my children adore him. Drama loves fruit especially apples. Whenever he sees an apple he will sit and cry to me to give him some. He has always been there for me throughout all of the struggles in my life. He is my heartbeat! Drama was diagnosed with Agasaca cancer. He has had some tumors removed but now he is getting skinnier and skinnier. He has an oncology appointment soon and most likely going to have chem treatments. I just want him to feel better and be there for him like he has always been there for me. I am a single mother of 2 little boys and I can barely pay my own bills. I am a seasonal worker at this time and am desperately searching for help to help me save my boy Drama.

I got Queen 5 months ago from New Jersey. Guy is a truck driver and needed to give her to someone who is around to care for her. I drove up to New Jersey after getting the address from Hoobly.com. She was love at first sight. She is one beautiful Rottweiler, big and strong with a shiny coat. I could not wait to get home with her and see the kids reaction. They were overly excited. Queen enjoys water, chasing squirrels and playing with our other dog Buster. Buster is a German shepherd Doberman mix, very tall and strong looking dog. They both are gentle with each other even though they are so big and strong. I need for Queen to be able to save her leg so she can continue her happy life with the kids and playing with her best friend Buster. She is the most loving and enjoy the kids touching her. Very protective of the family. She is loyal, follows you around and a very good watch dog. She is really big for a female with nice black and rust marking. Previous owner said she is a German rottweiler. See has a way of looking in your eyes like she is saying i love you. Queen got out and may have been hit by a car. She needs surgery to reset the bones in her right hind leg. Surgery is between 6032.29 and 6719.94 but any amount will help. Cape cod Vet Specialists in Buzzard Bay saw her and provided me with the estimate. Dr Joseph Polit took care of her initially. Recently not working. I have five kids and lots of bills. Just paid $1454.95 out of pocket for a temporary cast for Queens leg. I sincerely will be overjoyed for some financial help and will pay it forward in the future.

Riley was a rescue dog that we found while scrolling through pet finder some 12 years ago. Her happy go lucky demeanor immediately caught our attention and we instantly fell in love with her and brought her home. She has been away from us at the vet for 3 days now and it is the longest she has ever been away from us. Riley lives at home with Me, my daughter Maddy and her four children Rachael (9), Faith (8), Junior (4) and Sean (2). We live in a single family home with a good sized yard for Riley to roam around in. Riley has watched all four children grow up from birth and loves them as if they were her own personal babies. Riley is a lover of all people and other animals who come into her home I am 71 years young and I have Parkinson's Disorder. My disorder has started to make my body seize up and moving around is hard to do, so working is out of the question for me now. Having Riley home and healthy again would be a HUGE help to my mental status and stability Riley was unexpectedly hit by a car in front f our house and the driver never stopped. We immediately brought her to the vet Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists in Buzzards Bay and they did x-rays and blood work. They discovered several fractures in her right front leg one of which is going to require surgery to fix because they need to place a plate to stabilize the leg. Riley is special to us because she brings the extra happiness and love into our lives that we need on a daily basis. She is always happy and looks like she's constantly wearing a smile. She puts up with anything and everything the kids do to and around her and just goes on like it doesn't even bother her. She is an immense amount of comfort for me as I work through my Parkinson's Disorder

Hello, I bought a condo about 6 years ago alone and really needed a dog to keep me company. Never did I realize how much I needed Rylee in my life. She has made life so much more enjoyable. I bought her from a gentleman at 6 weeks old and now she is 5. She is the most amazing pup! Everywhere I go, people say "where's Rylee". She is loved by everyone that has the privilege of meeting her:). My Rylee is totally my best friend. She is my sidekick. Everywhere I go, Rylee goes (well except for work). No matter if I'm on the couch, up in my bed, on my back deck or outside, Rylee is always right next to me. She will not sleep unless she is by my feet. Rylee's favorite game is "chase Rylee around the firepit and try and catch me". It's fun until I get dizzy lol. Rylee loves her walks I am on a fixed income and Rylee desperately needs this 2nd surgery. My heart breaks to see her limping around, unfortunately, I can't see how I can pay. She is my WORLD! Rylee blew her left ACL a couple of years ago and she had ACL surgery at Cape Cod Vet in Bourne, MA. I paid out of pocket for that surgery. Unfortunately, Rylee has blown her other ACL (per her vet) Dr Johnson in Middleboro, MA. She has a surgery date of 4/27/21, This is the first time I have owned a dog. I didn't know too much about the bread but I learned quickly how easy she is to read by her expressions. I can tell when she's happy, sad, tired, pissed at me lol, hungry, or just needs to go out. The head tilt has to my favorite and always makes me laugh.

Hi there, Izzy is our 8+ year old sweet mutt who is part dachshund, min pin and beagle mix. She lives with us and two other dogs as well as two cats. She is kind tempered and is quite the lap dog. Izzy loves dog toys and naps! She is a big fan of belly rubs and rides in the car. She is tan and white in color and her eyes look like someone put on too much eyeliner on her, but we love her for it! Izzy likes to spend her days sleeping on my moms bed or the couch. Gets along famously with my 5, year old nephew and loves to give him kisses. Adores walks but hates the rain and almost refuses to go out when it’s raining! The total is around 7k and we can use all the help we can Getting Izzy healthy again would mean the absolute world to us as she is the sweetest dog and is always there to comfort us. Izzy is currently at VCA in bourne, a 24 hour emergency vet clinic in buzzards bay, MA. She originally went in on Thursday due to an accident and was bleeding badly from the jaw and neck. Injuries were repaired but on friday she spit out a tooth and now required surgery for a fractured jaw that was originally missed. Afraid of thunder almost chronically. She loves to sleep under my weighted blanket, cannot sleep unless she is under a blanket with only her nose sticking out! Hates bath time and nail trimmings, acts as if either of them will be the death of her even though she is absolutely spoiled! Will jump up on your lap when she feels stressed and will huff and puff at you if you touch her tail
