Kawa came into my life when I adopted him from the Hawaiian Humane Society at just 3.5 months old. The moment I saw his oversized paws, I just knew he was my best friend. We've shared over 12 wonderful years together. His name comes from his puppy habit of constantly jumping around, and me trying to manifest calmness (Hawaiian Kawa drink). And the nickname Kawa Lava quickly followed. Kawa is being treated at VERC after being diagnosed with Apocrine Gland Anal Sac Adenocarcinoma (AGASACA). Surgery removed the main tumor, but because the margins were narrow and the cancer is aggressive, we're pursuing chemotherapy to treat remaining microscopic cancer cells. Treatments include chemo, scans, bloodwork, and monitoring to give him the best chance at more healthy, happy years. Kawa was simply born good. He loves everyone, from babies to strangers to every animal he meets. His favorite days include yak treats, Alan Davis Beach, Lamb Chop toys, and zoomies after baths. His gentle kisses, endless patience, and sweet soul have comforted countless people. Everyone who meets him leaves smiling. While caring for Kawa, I'm also covering expenses related to settling my late father's affairs, which has depleted my savings. Cancer treatment is more than I can manage alone. Feather and fur animal hospital informed me of the costs of the c section and all that good stuff and I have nowhere near that much money. They said the costs would total to about 5000 She is a very important part of my family because she is more than a pet to me, she is family! She means the world to my niece too because they are growing togeth I don't have a job due to being laid off from lack of work,, I've looked high and low for a new job but it's even harder to even be okay going to work.

My Pomeranian her name is Champagne really needs help she is in urgent care but we dont have enough money to keep her there she may need a surgery to insert a feeding tube directly into her tummy because she has a severe condition called "Megaesophagus" which prevents her from breathing naturally and her throat is inflamed and she is in so much pain. She constantly is chocking and weezing coughing on water and food, even air too when she gets too excited. My heart is breaking everyday to see her like this. Please if you can find it in your heart to help, anything at all will be so much appreciated, thank you💔🙏😭 She loves running at going swimming at the beach. He favorite thing to play with is her fox sqeakytoy, she is such a sweetheart doggy and loves everyone she meets! Cuddle bug. Protective of his family but will never hurt anyone. He loves to be hugged and kissed and cuddled and go on walks in the neighborhood. Very urgent. I have care credit but I am a few thousand short. Total bill is $14k. Care credit covers $12k. I don’t know what else to say. I need help.:(

Chico is a energetic little guy that got so excited to go riding he fell off the bed after putting on his harness. He has not been able to move and has been suffering greatly with muscle spasms. He loves to play tug a war with all of his toys. And enjoys watching the neighbors outside. He loves to go shopping and riding in his mom’s truck. Hanging out in the yard is his favorite past time. He has a neck injury and is currently in emergency care. He has been fitted with a brace and given a lot of medication. It’s been very stressful for him these past few days and not taking his treatment well. Due to his injury he hasn’t been able to move and needs to be held all day and night. He’s very depressed and not eating or drinking any of his favorite foods or snacks. Lays on his back all d Chico loves hanging out with me his best friend and mom. He loves his family and big 80lb American Pitbull named Deuce. He can be curious but very energetic. Chico is very friendly with people and other dogs. He really hasn’t been around other people than family. He’s comfortable in his safe environment at home with his stuffed animals and chew toys. Hangs out until his mom comes home from work. He is currently in 24 hr emergency care, I need additional funds to get him home today. Funds that will provide the medication he will need for home care and future changing of his brace that he will be wearing for a long time or the rest of his life and neurological help.

Lii was a gift for my grandma and he is her emotional support dog. We had him since he was 4 months old. He is 4 years old now will be 5 in August. No other pets its just him. Lii is very well trained. He listens. He sleeps in living room never locked up. He loves to play fetch and what we call the mind reading game. He always gives up this look and goes to the door because he wants to either use bathroom or just simply hang out outside. He just loves to sit by my grandma's feet. Wags his whole back end when he sees us. Loves to bark at weird things especially himself in the mirror. He is such a fun dog. He really lifts your spirit. Li'i got his back right leg run over from the neighbors car. He was laying outside in his driveway which he always does, but that day the neighbor came home when she's usually at work. She came home claims she didn't see Li'i and ran over his back leg. I took him to the vet they state he has a fractured femur. The neighbors said they cant afford the vet bill and refuses to apply for care credit and scratch pay. I am self employed I work Saturdays and Sundays for just 18 hours a week for $35.00 an hour. I don't make much money and then I applied for care credit and scratch pay I got denied for both

Sunny is 1 of 3 cats in the household. Eats like Garfield. Had to baby-proof the cabinet where we keep the food and treats to prevent him from getting to things. I saved him off the streets as a newborn kitten intending to give him to the local shelter. Got attached and kept him, bottle feeding him in-between classes in college. Like most orange cats, Sunny has a huge personality. He comes when called, sits when instructed, and will do just about anything for food. Being the youngest of our 3 cats he gets bullied, but is feisty as well. He’s got spunk and personality. Gives you attitude if he doesn’t get his way and will nip you on the leg in retaliation before running away to avoid getting in trouble. Smart guy. Knows how to open sliding doors, cabinets, and most food containers. Will fight you for shrimp. Will nip you in retaliation if you deny him of what he’s after. Loves scratches, cuddles, and will turn climb atop your chest anytime you lay down. Separation anxiety is real with this one. Will carry his stuff bunny and cry whenever I leave the house or he thinks I’m gone. Our primary vet clinic was closed on Sunday when we noticed Sunny having urinary issues. He couldn’t pee properly and left dribbles throughout the house. Threw up three times throughout the day and lost all appetite, huddled up in a corner. We had to admit him a 24/7 hospital - Veterinary Emergency + Referral Center of Hawaii (VERC) - which quoted us $3-5k for treatment and care. $3140 was the final vet bill after taxes. To prevent reoccurrence, we will need to adhere to a new prescription wet food diet for Sunny. Me and my girlfriend recently took on a mortgage, so would appreciate any help we can get.
