Smokey

Smokey is a 2 year old French Bulldog in Fall River , MA, who needs $2,000 for MRI and Surgery for Spinal Displacement.

Fall River, MA

My dog Smokey came into my life by a purchase from a breeder I fell in love with Smokey he was only a few months old when I got him he’s been with us ever since. We got the name Smokey because of his colors my daughter picked his name they are extremely close and I have a new daughter only a few months old and Smokey is such a joy around us all. I want to have his issue fixed as it’s hurting him I was seen with Smokey at advanced veterinary speciality center of New England in Walpole ma they said he has a spinal issue kinda like Ivdd I can provide medial diagnose paperwork to show but he needs surgery to fix a bone problem Smokey is very special to us he’s always a ball to have around.. he’s very joyful and loves both of my daughters and me very much he’s been in our life through so many things and we can’t imagine life without him he’s a one of a kind personality I have kinda lost my job due to having my daughter in early February then falling down some stairs and breaking my tailbone so between my own health journey & Smokey’s don’t have the money to pay for his medical care at the moment we would be beyond grateful anyone for help

Maple

Maple is a 5 year old Cardigan Welsh Corgi in Mansfield, MA, who needs $2,000 for CHOP Treatment.

Mansfield, MA

We adopted Maple in 2020. She became our covid baby and brought the family together during that difficult time. Maple has become a crucial part of the family and a best friend to my autistic son. We currently all live together with Maple's grandparents. Maple is a healthy 5 year old aside from her recent diagnosis of lymphoma. We are hoping to attack the lymphoma aggressively to achieve remission. We found it early and Maple is already responding well to the chemo. We have a great oncologist team from Advanced Veterinary Specialty Center of New England that is assisting Maple in her battle with cancer. Maple is a special corgi, who has a love for life. She is the perfect blend between vaccum chaser and couch potato. Maple is well versed in chasing the ball and being a cuddle bug. She has become an emotional support for the whole family, but especially to my young autistic son. Maple is a one of a kind corgi that cures any bad mood and can be bribed by belly rubs and cheese. Currently, treatment for Maple is hard to afford because my family has become a one-income household with my husband being unemployed. We recently lost my mom to cancer a week before finding out about Maple's cancer situation and losing another Maple would be detrimental.

Max

Max is a 9 year old Maltese in Dartmouth , MA, who needs $2,000 for Chop Protocol.

Dartmouth, MA

I rescued Max in 2021 from a shelter. I have had him going on 4 years. He is one of a kind and my best companion though life's good and bad times. He had a unknown but assume rought past. He is treated the best that a pet owner can treat their loved ones. Within 2 months of his rescue I got news he had chronic lukemia. It was devastating. New and scary to me. I opted to try to treat him and it worked well for almost 3 years. Fast forward to today. His lukemia came out of remission and is aggressive. His oncologist came upt with a plan that has a very good chance to put it back into remission. He is currently being treated at Pet Nuerology and Oncol He loves the outside and runs to the door when his harness is brought out. He is his own boss around the house. When he wants to be left alone he will let you know. He has always had this protective thing over me even though he is small, his heart is huge. The cost for the chemo is just out of reach. The treatment is life saving for him and can be started asap. It would mean the world to me to give him another shot at life.

Hercules

Hercules is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Mansfield, MA, who needs $2,000 for Diagnostics, Imaging and Treatment.

Mansfield, MA

Hercules is my whole heart and came in my life by way of seeking a cool break from the scorching summer temperature of NYC. It was him found me that day and I believe God sent me one of his angels. He has seen me at my best and worst and through it all has loved me unconditionally. He loved me even on the tough days I hated myself. He is my calm. He is my baby boy. On 04/09/25, I can home from work and he ran up to me with his leg pulled up and hanging limp. He doesn’t let it touch the ground and has been having leg tremors every 3-5 seconds. He has never been in this condition and I fear it might be from deeply rooted trauma of his bone or connective tissue. I feel defeated. My boy loves the world, especially the people in it. He is eager to get extra butt scratches by anyone with hands. Hercules is my number one cuddle bug and the warmest cuddle bug during chilly days. It’s like he exudes a level of warmth and joy that makes people love him instantly. To say the least, he has unofficial aunts and uncles everywhere. Life has lifed in a way that has impacted my emotionally and financially. I switched careers and started new and my income is low. I got a 14 day housing notice I’m battling and have been staying afloat by the grace of God himself. I need help and prayers.

Photo of Nala

Nala

Nala is a 6-year-old German Shepherd in Dorchester, MA, who needs $2,000 for an MRI of the brain.

dorchester, MA

I got Nala the month after I graduated from college. I wasn’t sure what I was going to name her but when I brought her home I couldn’t stop looking at how big her paws were! Lion sized paws! And with that I decided Nala was her name, a fierce, strong willed lioness(but really I knew she was a dog...) We have been together for 6 years now, and she has helped me through so much of my depression that has taken over my life in the past 5 years. She gives me a reason to get up in the morning. She loves me even when I can’t love myself, and for that I owe her the world.
