Minnie Louise is the best friend a girl could ever have! She came into my life at only 3lbs, a little baby who fit in the palm of my hand. From day 1 she stole my heart and has never given it back! That's okay because I've actually given it to her! Her name is Minnie because as a puppy she looked like Minnie Mouse and to date, her personality captures her name. Minnie is probably strongest personality in the household next to her mom. She is sure to let you know she is around with one of her nick names being "Minnie Mouth". Although Minnie has this strong personality trait, she also can be just the sweetest little baby, enjoying snuggles while her mommy sings to her. When Minnie was younger she would jump as high as my shoulder and she never slowed down, right by her Mommy's side always. She loves to be a part of especially if Mommy is doing it. With a nick name of Minnie Mouth, as you can imagine Minnie is a talker and will let you know if she is content or not. Her best physical asset is her smile, as she is able to smile when she is excited and happy. My little baby started with a cough a few months ago which was diagnosed as bronchitis and she was given medication. Months later, still having a worsen cough, several vets, an oncologist, and a surgeon, Dr Rose at Veterinary Surgery Center of Sarasota, a tumor the size of her heart is found in her chest cavity. This tumor is actually a puss pocket, aspirated and sent to the lab on 1/13/24. The past few years have been especially pressing on me. As we all know too well, Covid. I have lost family, a business, $, a home. I've managed till now. Please Help. Minnie needs surgery Now. This tumor is causing her trouble breathing. This morning is bad. We are Scared.

I got my Ziggy man 8 weeks after he was born. He is a healthy 10-year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever who loves to play. He was diagnosed with diabetes about 3 years ago. We have his diabetes under control, and he get his curves test every 6 months. He has a very large mass on his front leg that needs to be removed. He loves his cat Compian that we have at home. we don't have any kids yet but have one on the way. He loves to play ball and run outside. He is very good with all people and other animals. He is afraid of thunder. I am not ready to let him go since he is very healthy it just this mass that needs to be gone. He is very playful an likes to talk back to me when I don't play. I saw a specialist that is willing to help me get this mass removed, it is just very expensive. I already come out of pocket a lot a month for my Ziggy man between his special food, and insulin for his diabetes. I have a little bit of money to put towards the bill but I don't have enough. Veterinary surgery center doctor name Dr. Peress. Unexepted expense and it is becoming an urgency every day/ growing and bleeding. I don't want to put down a healthy dog that can live another 2-3 years.

Sweet Little Bella Barks-Alot is a rescue from Miami Animal Rescue. I saw her little face and I was hooked. I knew I had to help her any way I could. I was very fortunate and found out her entire story from the original owner. She was not abused for 8 years. I feel that her health was neglected for the last 2 years. She has a hernia hanging down over 2 inches under her belly. After being rescued, she is living a very comfortable life of a little Diva. I intend on spoiling her and taking care of her for the rest of her life. I am a senior on my own and she is wonderful company for me. I guess I am one of those old ladies that are crazy about their pet baby. She is a joy! She loves everyone she meets. She will bark (hence her name Bella Barks A-lot) if you are not showering her with attention. We are working on that, but it is too cute. She loves men, women and especially children. There are puppy kisses for anyone within tongue's length. She brings great joy and smiles to all that she meets. I have taken Bella to two Veterinary clinics. They both say she needs a Speciality Surgeon. I then took her to Veterinary Surgery Center of Sarasota to Dr Rose. The Diagnosis was that she has an inguinal hernia with possibility of strangulation and incarceration of the bowel, thus surgery is recommended. Being a Senior surviving on a fixed income. I want to do all I can to help little Bella Barks A-lot. She deserves a chance to survive like any of us. So, I am going to do whatever I can to get her the medical attention she needs. She deserves a happy healthy life.

My husband purchased Nacho from a woman selling 6- week- old puppies. That was nine years ago. Now Nacho lives with my husband, 9-year-old son, and me in a small town outside of Tampa. We have a small house with a fenced in backyard where Nacho gets to explore and dig lots of holes. He enjoys life except that right now he can't comfortably sit down because of his hernia. He really needs help. Nacho was my husband's dog prior to our marriage. When I moved in, I thought Nacho would be jealous, but instead we became the best of friends. He enjoys long walks, playing on the dog run, dancing, and playing games. He literally played Bingo during Christmas by moving the beans around the card just like he saw us doing it. He always wants to be included. He is our family. Nacho tries to talk, and holds long, "conversations," with us. He won't let my husband kiss or hug me because he gets jealous. He wants all the attention, and usually gets it. He waits patiently for us to get home, and he wraps us in love and wet kisses when we do. He never gets into the trash and rarely does anything to upset us. He is such a good dog. Nacho has a perennial hernia. It is a common condition for Pitbulls that weren't neutered. We didn't get him neutered because we thought it was cruel, but now we realize the error of our ways, and we just want to get him help. We have been to multiple vets, and they all said he requires surgery through a specialist at Veterinary Surgery Center of Sarasota. Dr. Scott Rose is the best We were both out of work multiple times due to Covid over the last year. I lost a job because of Covid, so we have very little savings. Although we are working now, we have had to play catch up all year.
KANDI
Kandi is a 2-year-old Schnorkie in Arcadia, FL, who needs $500 for a surgical fracture repair.

Kandi was rescued by Canine Castaways from Hillsborough County Animal Services after she had been hit by a car. She also tested positive for heart worms. She was immediately taken to our primary vet, Animal Ark of Arcadia, for x-rays. Her injury required surgery by Dr. Rose at Veterinary Surgery Center of Sarasota. Due to her injury, surgery & recovery required, Kandi is on limited activity in her foster home. She has a comfy bed in the dining room and in general hangs out in that area. She has developed an infatuation with the cats in her foster home and is even friends with one of them. She is happy to greet everybody when she meets them. Kandi is a rescue with Canine Castaways. Her surgery alone was thousands and she still has to be treated for heart worms. These expense are in addition to the every day expenses involved with rescue. Kandi was hit by a car and left with a broken front leg. She also tested positive for heart worms. X-rays were done by Dr. Pamela Wright at Animal Ark of Arcadia to determine the best treatment option. It was determined that her injury required surgery by Dr. Rose at Veterinary Surgery Center of Sarasota. The surgery was a little more complicated than anticipated due to the time since injury. Despite being hit by a car and in intense pain, Kandi never displayed any aggressive behavior. After everything that she has been through, she remains a very happy & loving girl. She can be comical at times and is very smart. She is very observant and even notices the birds flying overhead when outside and will bark at them.

My sweet girl Kava was born last year the day after Valentines day. The moment I saw her I knew I was going to adopt her. I was lucky enough to watch her grow as she became independent and strong. a few months later I was able to go get her and took her straight home where she met her two brothers. Ever since they have been inseparable. I love this litter girl more than anything and I just want her to feel better.
