My Pet came into my life as a gift in 2014. Even though he was not in the best shape. Fleas, ticks, and a severe ear infection. I got him treated and groomed. Noodle was love from the moment he was received.. We notice my Noodle having a problem with pooping after being groomed one weekend. Thought maybe it was due to his anal glands being treated. Took him to Petfolk Veterinary Clinic and seen Dr. Jeff who informed us it was a hernia and referred us to Blue Pearl Pet Hospital quoted us 8,000.00 for the surgery. Find a secondary location @ Veterinary Trauma Ctr and quoted 3,000 for surgery. Noodle has so much character, He definitely loves greeting all the neighborhood doggies. Is best pet friend is my German Shephard grandpup and neighbor Husky Ghost. They play well together. When He is not napping, He is on the front porch waiting on the neighbor daughter to come home and get some belly rubs. He loves to cuddle and look out the window during the day. We are currently living on a fixed income with my spouse. After a job lost. Living on savings to help making up the difference to stay above water. We do have some saved for the surgery but definitely need help.

I foster for my local cat rescue. JJ and her siblings were brought in from a gas station. Both of her brothers passed away suddenly and shortly after coming into my care. It didn’t take long for me to realize something was different about JJ. She was soon diagnosed with Cerebellar Hypoplasia. JJ made her way into our hearts and we decided to adopt her. Due to her CH, JJ has a hard time balancing and her back legs are very weak. She is so full of love and wants to be with the family at all times. JJ was given a set of soft pet steps so she can get on and off the bed and cuddle. She learned how to climb them and sleeps with my daughter every night. We are a family of 6 with one income. This same week I paid $500 in vet bills for a dog in treatment for heart worms. An accident and bill like this couldn’t have come at a worse time. There is no emergency funds left for JJs surgery. JJ loves to run and play with the kids. She was running with my son who was excitedly racing through the house. He then ran into a room and closed the door hard behind him. What he did not know was JJ was in the doorway. Because JJ has Cerebellar Hypoplasia, she was unable to move fast enough to get out of the way like other “normal” kittens her age would have. JJ suffered a broken femur. JJ does not let her handicap keep her from doing what she loves. She is constantly learning and adapting to life and although she falls a lot, she always gets back up. JJ loves to cuddle and give kisses. She’s truly grateful for her new life and it shows. She looks up and tells you “I love you” by letting out a little squeaky meow.

Our princess Chanel. She just turned four years old and we are in so much need of help. Chanel story is really a survival one. We but Chanel from a pet store when she was just eight weeks old and we were lied to about where she came from. Her condition was so bad but I knew she was sent to us for a reason because we were able to care for her and love her and make her as happy as possible. Chanel is our baby when you look into her eyes it almost feels like she’s human. She’s been through so much and we’re just trying to save her. We don’t know what happen but she has torn her CCL which is her kneecap and both her knees need surgery. We are in such a bad situation and we can’t afford the full amount. She is part of our family and everyone and the kids love her I was a nurse for 17 years but unfortunately I have become disabled I was diagnosed with over 500 tumors in my lungs I have a very rare lung disease and it’s so difficult now to pay for the expenses for her When she was just eight weeks old she had pneumonia she has severe allergies all because of the genetic disorders that she suffered from this terrible pet store and the breeder that she came from I’ve fought for her ever since she was eight weeks old. She’s had to have ice surgery and at that time I was financially stable but I’m not anymore From the moment that we got her at eight weeks old we had a special bond she can’t be without me it almost feels like she knows everything that I’m feeling especially when I became disabled. I used to be a nurse for 17 years but I have a very rare lung disease and she gets me through my most toughest times and I need to be there for her too
