We got Zoey as a gift for my oldest daughter when she was 10 as a birthday gift (daughter is now 18). She is 9 years old and is about to have her second surgery due to bladder stones. We dont have any other options due to the stones incompasing 80% of her bladder. This is a struggling time financially as a newly single mom so if you can help in any way please do. It is greatly appreciated. She has always been our onLy fur baby. She doesnt get out much because she gets very shy and very nervous around other dogs. She loves to play wrestle and she most definitely loves to play fetch with her cheeseburger toy. She has A LOT of toys. She loves being lazy also but when it’s time to take that walk she’s out the door! She loves just being near one of us all the time. As I mentioned before, I am a newly single mom and already strapped financially trying to find a new place for us to live. This was just So unexpected but we want our fur baby Zoey better. There is just no possible way to do it on my own. We are seeking help for a surgery she needs for unfortunate bladder stones. She has always been on special urinary diet foods because this has happened once before when she was very small and they unfortunately came back a lot bigger and a lot more aggressive taking up 80% of her bladder. Surgery is the best option since they are so large in size. Her most favorite person of all time is always going to be our oldest daughter Peyton. They are inseparable and will follow her anywhere and everywhere. She absolutely loves car rides and will go anywhere with u, no matter the weather or what mood she’s in. She is a sunbathing dog, not a big fan of snow or rain, she doesn’t like her feet wet haha!

Layla became a part of our family in 2016 when we went to the Irving animal shelter to get a cat. Layla won over our hearts instead and we came home with a sassy, snuggle monster! She's got a big bark but loves people, dogs, and life in general. She is a big sister/mentor to our foster fail Shiba Inu and taught her everything about how to be a dog. Her loving nature has also been integral to helping our adoptive daughter settle into our family these last few months.
