Hi everybody! I am Karen, Minnie’s Human and I’d like to share a little about her here. She is nine years old and I adopted her when she was one year old in 2015 from ASPCA after visiting her about two or three times before making my decision to take her home. She currently lives with me and one other cat but she is my emotional support companion. Minnie is a very sweet and gentle cat who never meets a stranger and is always purring and making biscuits! She was really close to my son before he moved away two years ago even though she’s my ESA. We never had or have any problems with her besides her occasional dash out the front door lol. She’s not a biter or a scratcher, just a big fluffy baby! My baby is special to me because she’s helped me through some tough days by helping me to redirect my stress, pain and anxiety into a more positive direction which is her and her cuddles and her purrs which are so healing and calming for me. My house would not be home without her presence because I need her. She’s a part of the family. Recently, within the last 6 to 9 months, Minnie begin developing matted fur all over her body due to her lack of ability to groom herself and my limited ability to help her due to my own disabilities.,,The mats have become so severe that she requires a procedure where she needs to go under anesthesia in order for them to be removed because of how painfully close they are to her skin. Currently, I am not working and my funds are limited because I have a few disabilities that I am dealing with right now on top of the debt that I already have. we both would really appreciate it if you can help with whatever you can because my baby is in pain and needs care
