Winnie

Winnie is a 7 year old French Bulldog in Valders, WI, who needs $10,000 for Surgical Repair for Lumbosacral Stenosis.

Valders, WI

my brother had a French bulldog and all I wanted was to get my own so after visiting him, my dad had finally decided that he would let me get a dog. We found Winnie after weeks of looking and we instantly decided to bring her home with us. She has been in my life ever since she was six weeks old. She now lives with me, my husband, and out two young boys. Winnie is an extremely healthy dog except for her lumbosacral disease. This disease narrows the spine, causing the vertebrae to compress her nerve roots. We went to transcend veterinary in Menasha, Wisconsin, and we will soon be traveling to Wisconsin veterinary neurological and surgical center in Meqoun WI. One MRI alone will cost upwards of $4000. My Winnie is a very special dog. She loves everybody. She has never been aggressive, and she loves our children. She loves going on walks with us as a family and loves to be around other people. However, her disease is making that hard to do. I am a stay at home mom to two young children under the age of two. My Husband works over 50 hours a week to provide, and we barely make ends meet. We are both in school as well. We are just trying to keep our Winnie healthy and as happy as we can.

Photo of Romeo

Romeo

Romeo is a 2 year old Sphynx in Wind Lake, , who needs $3,200 for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).

Wind Lake

Romeo was adopted from a lady that could no longer have cats as she was moving. We have always loved Sphynx cats and took him in. We have a large home and have been to the vet every week since we got him: sadly the suspected ear infection is no longer what the vet wants to treat as the head tilt is worsening. He cannot get fixed until we address the neurological problem. Romeo came to us with a head tilt and we initially thought it was an ear infection which has been treated for the past five weeks. He is not improving and needs to get an MRI at the neurologist. After multiple vet visits we are seeing a hardship in paying for the necessary MRI. His care will most likely be done at the Mequon Vet as WVRC is much more expensive. Romeo is a very loving and cuddly boy. He loves all of the humans in our house and our other cats. He will greet us every time we get home from work and follow us every where. We know he wants to get better. After adopting Romeo our income went down when my husband lost his main source of income. The weight of all of my current debts is solely on my shoulders and I’m struggling to scrape up what I have to keep Romeo. Kids would be devastated if we had to rehome our baby.

Me and this precious boy have been together since he was 9 weeks old the breeder I got him from thought I would be best at taking care of him because of how well I took care of his older brother so I took him and my family and I adore him He recently scared us one morning unable to walk we rushed him to 3 ER vets at 12 in the morning the last one gave us news of suspect IVDD just those alone cost me 600$ we had a neurological exam today and got an MRI for him 3600$ and opted for pain management we are at a loss for funds as he may need surgery very soon to fix the herniated disc in his back which will run us about 5-6000$ He is the best boy ever he loves our family with everything his little body can give and just want him to get better I will do anything for that to happen I am a single mother of two teenagers and 3 dogs I’m thankful my mom is trying to help as much as she can but it’s been hard on all of us as we spent over 4k already in expenses trying to get him better so far doing surgery would send us over the edge of recovering from this
