Louie is a 1.5-year-old Labradoodle who has been a cherished companion since he was a puppy. He has had a significant impact on my emotional well-being, particularly helping provide comfort and support following the loss of a family member. Louie is currently living in a home environment with access to both indoor comforts and outdoor spaces for exercise and play. Louie was recently diagnosed with Addison’s disease, a condition in which the adrenal glands do not produce enough hormones. This diagnosis followed observation of symptoms including decreased appetite, fatigue, vomiting, and changes in urination patterns. To manage the condition, Louie has to be on a daily pill an a monthly shot. Care is through woodland animal hospital.
