Yes but unaware I bought from a mill. It changed me, to the core. When time came I walked into the shelter,. I seen him. He was shaking he was skinny. Our eyes locked and his eyes screamed "I will love you. I will be honest. I will be brave for you and I will learn. I will keep you from being alone and make you smile" owen has done this all for me, SO I OWE HIM SO MUCH, HE'SWORTH HIS WEIGHT IN GOLD From the beginning we have struggled come home with kennel cough. Next a double severe ear infection. Now my Owen has a bi-lateral caucarel tear. Which he has fracture both knees and needs surgery. He can barely walk now. He moans in pain. we bought a wheelchair and give him calming pills. He is 10 months old. Bentley is a cockerspaniel and pekingese mix. Bentley just turned 11 on March 23rd. We live in a home on the end of a private road community. Bentley fit in the palm of my hand at one week old. He was so Itty bitty. Bentley was brought in for emergency visit last week with a severe infection in his gums. We were told he NEEDS surgery to help with his dental issues. He wasn't eating, sleeping all day and puss coming out of his gums. The meds have helped but is only masking the main issue that needs to be done and that is by having surgery. Bentley is a snuggle bug. Loves to go for walks around the yard. Loves going for car rides and seeing people in stores that he visits every weekend. Bentley has helped me every day. I have depression and anxiety. He helps to lessing those feelings. Has been my savior. We've had Bentley since he was only 8 weeks old. He means the world to us. I've been out of work for 3 years and have applied for disability. I'm unable to work due to medical issues. Our account has depleted dramatically since I got done working. My husband is the only one working to support us.

This is princess Leia. She lives with her puppy companion Millie her mom and dad and 2 human puppies. She was adopted on May the 4th because we are huge Star Wars Fans! The force is strong with this pup!! Leia has cracked her tooth and needs dental surgery to have it removed before it gets infected. She goes to Oakwood Hills Animal Hospital. I are to see her in pain and could really use your help. Leia loves to play with everyone in her family! In her younger years she loved to do agility. Now she loves her long walks and lounging in the sun!! She is also a snuggler and needs to sleep with mom and dad every night. Chungus came to us in storybook kind of way. We took our husky/lab mix, Nunu, to a local shelter for some play dates. She met with a few and stayed to herself the whole time. Cue Chungus, stage left. He was just walking out of a vet exam when we saw him. Scrawny and underweight, Nunu had finally taken an interest in someone. After instantly becoming best friends, Nunu had made our decision easy. Chungus has a growth that, although was hidden by his fur, has been growing for a few months. He recently went to the vet and they took a sample and said it was most likely a fatty tumor and had arranged for surgery to remove it. During the surgery the vet realized it was more intense than a simple fatty tumor. They sent a sample to BluePearl and the results came back as a grade 2 sarcoma. At 115lbs, Chungus still thinks of himself as a lap dog. Always looking for the next head rub or ear scratch. Chungus and Nunu are inseparable. His recent visits to the vet without her have left her confused being home alone. She will whine nonstop until he walks back through the door. He's her protector from thunderstorms. And she's his pillow during snuggle time. The current estimate is $20,000. I never expected to hear a number like that when this process started. We've been trying to save to purchase our first home, but haven't been able to make much progress. Now all of that will barely put a dent in his medical expenses.

Zaylee may is my baby girl who I’ve had for around 3 months she is 5 months old! I got her from someone who was giving the puppy’s away to good homes! She is my best friend baby my everything Zaylee sleeps in her xl dog cage at the end of my bed she is on a very structured routine so when she is ready for bed she comes to the side of my bed waiting for me to take her shirt off and collar off then she gives me lovings and then goes and crawls into her bed in her cage! She is a very well trained baby girl I forget she is not human at times! She loves to play fetch and she loves attention Zaylee is so smart she already sits lays down stays waves hi when told to do so she smiles really big too when she is happy! Very smart loving puppy she is She got diagnosed with parvo two days ago I’m only 16 yrs old I paid my last $400 to my name to get her the at home kit to treat her but I’m not educated enough to do what she needs I don’t think she is going to go to Savannah mo vet and they said it will be $500 for the stay to get her what it is she needs to beat this horrible disease I live with my mom who is barely making it check to check she is a single mom of 4 and has no family close all hrs and hrs away from us! I do work but I’m also in school full time for a couple more yrs! I would be so grateful for any help I could get for my baby she’s my bff

Poochie is the love of my life. She is a dog that had a bad rough life from the start. She is a rescue dog I adore. She also is a ESA dog, and she means the world to me. She already had bad breath but I didn't notice anything wrong. I took her to the vet for the first time and found that she has a heart murmur and blood in her stool, and needs dental work and other tests to be done. Poochie loves to meet new people and dogs, and is very friendly. She is house trained and does not mess in the house. She loves to go riding and walking and can do this 24/7 all day every day. She doesn't play with toys but walking just makes her day. I thought that a dog would help with the complications family has, but it didn't. No one in the family would help. So, things became what it is. This girl is very special. She is smart and picks up on key words like "keep"! When I expressed that I would keep her, she jumped 3 feet up in the air in happiness! She is full of energy all the time, even now. She likes to play tug on a rope but because of her teeth being bad, I stopped playing tug with her. Dr. said that she may have 3 more years at the most, and I want her to live longer. This is the first time she's been to a veterinarian, so I need to do all the tests needed but dental work is an emergency. It is the cause for her problems, and I need to have this done. It just breaks my heart to see her suffer. She sleeps with me on my bed, and I hear her crying at night because of a toothache. Her veterinarian is Lei Imaino-Hata. I am disabled and have other debt and unable to get the funding needed to do this. I am heartbroken this has happened. This means the world to me to have her well again! On Poochie's first visit, I was unable to do all tests due to not being able to pay, Please help.

I got Kobe when he was just 6 weeks old. He had no known health issues when I got him. He appeared to be a healthy, normal playful pup. When I took him to the vet for his first check-up, my veterinarian heard a heart abnormality and told me that I needed to take Kobe to a vet cardiologist. I have another dog named Leo that is 3 years old and I work from home so they are with me all of the time. Kobe is one year old and is a cuddler and sleeps on the bed with me every night. His favorite things are wrestling with his brother Leo and running in the woods to get sticks. My parents live next door and he loves going to see them. Kobe loves everyone he meets. I have 4 nieces and nephews that adore Kobe and love to come and play with him. He is so wonderful and gentle with the children. Kobe is one of the sweetest dogs anyone could ever meet. He has such a kind and gentle spirit and loves his life. He brings so much joy to others. One of the things that makes Kobe unique that makes us smile is his love of sticks as you can see in his picture and video. The sticks he finds just keep getting bigger and bigger as he has grows. Kobe is such a gift to us. Colorado State Veterinary Hospital is the facility performing the surgery and the treating veterinarians are Dr. Chris Orton and Dr. Shiori Arai. Since Kobe is now one year old and fully grown, it is essential that he have the surgery now before his heart further weakens. Kobe went in to heart failure 2 months ago which is an indicator of the progression of his condition. Kobe's only chance of survival is to have an extremely high cost heart valve replacement surgery at Colorado State which is the only facility in the country to perform this. It would give him a good chance of living a normal life and years he otherwise would not have.

Me and my late husband rescued Nila 3 years ago from a friend after she was found wondering the streets and hungry. She had been abused and was so afraid of men she would shake all over and then pee herself cause she was so afraid. It took a little bit but Jeremy and I got her over all that. We already had an 8 yr dog Maximus we'd had since he was only 6 weeks old. Nila is the sweetest most gentle dog and she loves to play and go for rides in the car or truck. A year ago my husband was helping a family member move when he was robbed and killed. My husband was my best friend and love of my life, my everything. Losing him destroyed me. Our dogs morned him right there with me, they missed Jeremy so much. For months after Jeremy was killed they'd here a loud truck and run to our back door and sit and wait on him to come in. It was heartbreaking. We were all a mess.. I didn't get out of bed for months. If it hadn't been for Nila and max I'm not sure if I could have gotten thru those first several months. They were all I had. Nila needs vet care I can't afford with my husband gone. I'm disabled and without his income money has been tight. She has an infection in gallbladder liver and spleen.. Dr. Cato at cleburne co animal center has been treating her. As of now her bill is over 700.00 we are treating her at home but she is still very sick and may end up needing surgery to remove her gallbladder which could cost another1000 I can't lose her if lost so much this past year. These dogs are all I have. I'd be completely alone now with them. They sleep with me every night with Jeremy gone. That's was the hardest thing when he die was sleeping alone but from day one they would be with me
