Rosko

Rosko is a 3-year-old Pitbull in Bealeton, VA, who needs $2,000 for Chop Protocol.

Bealeton, VA

I found Rosko at 4 weeks old when he was left for dead, but he had other plans. He was born a fighter and has the biggest will to live. This big teddy bear has been a huge part of my and my two girls' lives ever since. Being a single mom with 2 girls he is the light of our lives always. He has had a rough start to life and more bad cards dealt he deserves this treatment. Rosko loves his family. He sleeps with his mommy and fur sister Remi every night. He hates covers but has to cuddle and touch you. He loves his older hooman sister he follows her around always and his other sister is his TV buddy. He loves walks, balls, and pup cups! Watch your spaghetti noodles because he will steal those like he does the covers and everyone's heats! Rosko needs Chop Chemo I am paying to the best of my ability. He needs the most aggressive since the Vets failed to diagnose this early on as they should've. I am paying but falling on hard times being a single mom. I am looking for any help to help fight for his life! 01/25/2021 Rosko had enlarged lymph nodes he visited his vet to be misdiagnosed with an ear infection. We went back and forth between Animal Care Canter and Artemis ER being diagnosed with pneumonia. $3,000 later they do a needle aspiration test and he has a confirmed Large Cell B Lymphoma he fought 6 months silently something that could've had killed him. The failed him, but I won't! Rosko knows no stranger he greets everyone with a high five, literally. He smiles when people come to visit and has recently learned going outside means he gets a cookie so he tries to do this over and over even without going potty. He eats watermelon like a human and spies on all the neighbors. When he farts he smiles. he is so silly and makes us laugh all day every day.

Gypsie

Gypsie is a 3-year-old Pitbull in Riley, KS, who needs $1,500 for Total Ear Canal Ablation (TECA).

Riley, KS

Gypsie came to live with us in early March after she was rescued and residing at our local animal shelter. We knew she’d have some allergies that would be life long. What we didn’t know is that she was going to need a total ear canal ablation surgery to save her life. Unfortunately the infection was left untreated for so long it is taking over her very tired body. Gypsies favorite activities include sleeping, eating and basking in the sun. After every feeding she comes to me and sits between my legs. We like to think she’s thanking me for feeding her. Gypsie loves to snuggle with her human sister and steal her snacks. Snacks and treats are the true key to Gypsies heart. I’m a healthcare worker that worked through the pandemic and then lost my job due to the pandemic. I’ve spent roughly 3500 in 3 months to save Gypsie and am out of funds to keep helping her. Gypsie has suffered her entire life from neglect, abuse, and horrible untreated ear infections. Earlier this year she had some procedures done to hopefully offer relief and they were unsuccessful due to how bad the infection is. Her infection is antibiotic resistant and quickly infiltrating her blood stream. Most recently we saw a specialist in KC that finally provided some answers. Gypsie has just stolen our hearts. It’s amazing that a dog that has come from such horrible conditions is so loving and grateful. She is the most well behaved dog I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. On her good days when she’s feeling a little better she loves to jump up and give hugs and play tug of war with her sister but only for a few minutes. She tires quickly.

Precious

Precious is a 6-year-old yorkie in rockisland, IL, who needs $1,600 for C Section.

rockisland, IL

Precious was rescued from a home that was abusing her. They kicked her down stairs, neglected her. The daughter told my friend what her dad was doing. I begged, pleaded to pay to get her out. Took 3 months for her to come around.I even ran out of their house with her as she cringed to me in fear of her owner. She lives in heaven with me. I live alone. I have 4 yorkies that are always my loves. Everyone of them from abused homes. People would call and ask me to help get them out of very sad situations as they knew my love for dogs. In 2012 I ran a clothing buisness. People who knew me brought me their yorkie to take care of because they could not. My dogs are loved like my kid. Precious finally got to play with a ball. Happy She needs c section immediately. 6 pups are breech. I had covid lost over 3,000 in wages. I'm begging please help. She does not have much time. Her weight is now 17 lbs normally 9 lbs. Dear God please find me help for precious. 🙏 The yorkies I took in were not fixed. I made a plan to get each one fixed as resources available. The male fixed immediately. Then sissy I had 2 left to get fixed. I help everyone as much as I can. I got a call to please help a man groom his dog. My first visit he fell ambulance called so I took his dog 7 days. That dog got precious pregnant. Total devastated. precious will flip her head back like she is flipping her hair in happiness. SHE WENT FROM HELL TO HEAVEN. She lost her brother Toby 4 months ago. They both were saved from this home. TOBY was so damaged. Months of love and trust changed his life. The tears I have for the loss is still here. MY DOGS ARE MY LIFE!

Photo of Tater Salad

Tater Salad

Tater Salad is a 1-year-old Boxer in Barstow, CA, who needs $1,300 for bladder reconstruction surgery.

Barstow, CA

When Dr Ravenscroft opened Tater Salad to do the life saving surgery she found that Taters bladder had never disconnected from the umbilical cord; it never sealed off and is leaking urine into her abdomen. In return this has left Tater with a life of chronic UTIs. The surgery she needs is called Urachal Remnant Re-section. Tater needs bladder reconstruction surgery or I have to put her down. She knows when I need her to comfort me and warn me when I could be having an episode. She will literally lay on me for comfort. She is a wonderful, caring and intuitive service dog. I couldn't ask for better. She has been my replacement for my other service dog for the last yr. She has a way of just crawling behind me and then placing her head on my shoulder, like its ok mom then kisses me. As I stated earlier, she is my life line as my service dog. I really don't know what I would do with out her. I live on Social Security being disabled & her medical bills have added up over the last year. She’s a 1yr old Boxer had Parvo and Giardia (I treated) that I was unaware of when I arrived at the house (puppy mill)to get Tater Salad. Taters nose was crushed leaving her with a Deviated Septum. Several UTIs. Spayed due to Pyometra, which is rare, 1% survival rate & now she needs Urachal Remnant Re-section. Tater is a hilarious & vocal character. She does this howl that sounds like she's underwater when she wants attention or is talking back. Tater is a rabbit in training, she steels my carrots & Instead of running she bounces like one. Yet when it's time for bed she acts like she can't get in. She also thinks she's a reptile in training w/ Her friend Thor (Tegu) who she snuggles with when he visits.

Help Chuy Birden get X-rays, Teeth Extractions and Fractured Jaw Repair — Federal Way, WA

Federal Way, WA

Emergency Jaw Repair and Emergency Oral Surgery for my ESA, Chuy Birden My 8.5-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, Chuy Birden, is my official emotional support animal and my whole world. He keeps me safe, grounded, and comforted through intense housing and personal hardships. Right now, Chuy is the one who desperately needs a lifeline. He is in severe pain from an accidental jaw fracture caused by a tough oxtail bone, compounded by severe underlying gum disease. I brought Chuy to the specialists at Sound Animal in Renton because his previous clinic lacked the advanced diagnostic tools he needed. According to our official treatment plan, Chuy urgently requires full mouth dental x-rays so the surgeon can map out his jaw fracture repair. He also requires immediate extractions of both of his infected canine teeth along with three other upper teeth to completely stop the spread of infection. The vet's handwritten estimate is approximately $2,000 if everything goes smoothly, with a maximum high-end cost of $3,135. I cannot get my other emergency veterinary grants fully approved until these initial x-rays and diagnostics are performed. I am completely stuck and facing severe financial distress while watching my protector live in pain. Every single dollar raised here goes directly to Sound Animal to fund Chuy’s surgery. Please help me get Chuy the care he needs to be healthy and pain-free again. He also has his little family, a wife named Ginger, a son from his first litter named Baby O and a son from his last litter named Little Apple. I'm a disabled individual on SSI and currently in a housing crisis with my apartment complex management team, multiple neighbors and proxies. Im using all of my limited resources to get multiple anti-harrassment orders from the courthouse at this time. We appreciate you!

Rune

Help Rune Know He is Loved

Westwood, NJ • Peace4Paws, Inc.

Meet Rune, a 2-year-old pit bull terrier mix rescued from the Newark shelter by Peace4Paws. At 60 pounds, Rune may be a big boy, but underneath is a gentle, affectionate dog who wants nothing more than to feel safe and stay close to his people. Rune can be timid in unfamiliar situations, but once he settles in, he transforms into a happy-go-lucky love bug. He loves cuddles, exploring, and, most of all, treats! He’s house trained, knows basic commands, walks well on leash, and is eager to learn, especially when snacks are involved. Right now, however, Rune needs more than training and patience. He is struggling with an unexplained balance issue that his veterinarian believes may be vestibular or neurological. At times, Rune loses his footing and falls, especially when running or navigating stairs. His foster family has baby-gated stairways, covered sharp furniture corners, and uses a harness to help him safely downstairs. Rune is currently completing a course of prednisone, which has brought some improvement, but his symptoms have not fully resolved. If they continue, he will likely need to see a veterinary neurologist for further testing and answers—and that specialized care comes at a significant cost. Peace4Paws is committed to giving Rune every opportunity to thrive and eventually find the patient, loving home he deserves. But they need help covering the next steps in his medical care. Rune keeps getting back up every time he falls. Please consider donating to help Peace4Paws get this sweet boy the answers, care, and future he deserves.
