Harper was a rescue from Georgia. She was surrendered by a college student because of her size. She was a year old when we got her, noone else wanted her. We brought her home that day. It's been 9 years now. She has major environmental allergies, her skin is broken out all over. She is itching like crazy to the point of bleeding. She also has a new lump on her nipplrle that we need to have checked out. Needs to have vaccines. Has chronic lyme disease. She is my ESA and my service dog. I am disabled and she is with me almost 100 percent if the time. We lay in bed and TV and cuddle. She lives her belly rubs. She is my everything and protects me. I was a medical assistant for 25 years. I became disabled 2 years ago and we are struggling financially. My husband works but he is also partially disabled so he can't work that much either. I receive long term disability through my work but with lawyer fees I dont get that

Thor arrived at Stray Animal Foundation of India in devastating condition. He had a mutilated leg, and it was clear he had been suffering for a long time. The injury was severe, painful, and required immediate medical attention. Despite everything he’s endured, Thor has remained gentle and cooperative, trusting the very people working to save him. The team quickly began treating his wound and ran diagnostics to understand the full extent of his condition. Bloodwork revealed severe anemia, making his situation even more critical. Thor’s body is weak, and before any major procedure can be safely performed, his bloodwork must improve. Right now, Thor is receiving supportive care, medications, and monitoring to help stabilize him and build his strength. These early steps are crucial because Thor will ultimately need amputation surgery to remove his severely damaged leg and finally live without constant pain. While amputation sounds daunting, dogs adapt incredibly well to life on three legs. For Thor, this surgery will mean relief, mobility, and the chance to enjoy a future free from suffering. Carson

Carson is a 8 year old Shih Tzu in Mount juliet, TN, who needs $2,500 for IMHA Supportive Medications and Labs.

Our sweet boy, Carson (or Bubbas, Bubby Wubby, Snarl Carl…whichever you prefer) has been loving us for 8 years. The day that he became apart of our family, he started with a literal hug. Stood on his back legs, and wrapped his front paws around my brothers neck. 8 years later, he is the most spoiled, entitled boy I’ve ever met. He currently lives at his two houses: my apartment, and my moms house. Carson was diagnosed with Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia at Southside Animal hospital. That day, he was given an emergency blood transfusion to combat the critically low blood counts. 4 days later, his counts dropped, and he was admitted to the ICU (Blue Pearl) receiving blood & supportive care. This has since required frequent labs (3-7 days apart) and medications to stop this anemia crisis. Carson loves to snuggle with his babies (specifically his duck and his chicken), loves cheese, sitting on the balcony, giving you the side eye while he judges you. Loudly. He snores loud enough that he wakes not only me up, but also himself. He greets you at every door by standing on his back legs and reaching for a hug. His two nights in the ICU felt like eternity. We missed those hugs so much! We have already spent around 10k on emergent care, and now supportive. He has to go for lab checks 1x a week, and needs multiple medications daily for now. Meeka came into our family in 2019, she was just a rambunctious puppy full of spunk with a habit of running away. When her running away became too much for her original owner, we took her in. She bonded instantly to my senior boy & my kids. She has sense developed deep connections with our new babies and rescues. She is immensely loved. Recently Meeka has been having grand mal seizures. She has yet to have any lasting affects from them. Yet they are coming more frequently. I desperately want to get her into our vet to see what is going on, but my own medical issues have left my fiancé fully supporting our family. And money is incredibly tight. Our animals receive care at the wonderful Hudson Animal Hospital. Meeka is a BRILLIANT girl, who loves her brothers and sisters, and our children too. She goes crazy for popsicles & treats, loves the outdoors and playing chase. She is bonded to her older brother Thrasher, who has been with her since she came to the family. My personal medical issues have prevented me from being able to work and provide our family with supplemental income to cover things such as unexpected vet bills. But I can’t sit around and do nothing while my baby suffers, so here I am.

We got Axl on Halloween 2020. He has been a great dog and a loving little guy for as long has we have had him. He lives with my mom currently, keeping her company ever since my dad died. Axl just got diagnosed with diabetes. He also has cataracts and will be blind within this next year. It’s very hard to hear this information as he is what keeps my mom company and happy and protected. He goes to the Russell veterinary hospital. His favorite game is to rip the eyes of stuffed toys. He likes to play with the cats and he loves to “nuggle” with my mom on the couch and in bed. He loves to watch out the window at passing trucks and he loves to bark at them. He loves going outside and sniffing the koi pond and then rolling in the grass. Ever since my dad died, my mom has been on an income of one. She will struggle with the start of the diabetes diagnosis as she has to go to the vet almost every other week on top of buying the insulin and needles.

Jack came into my life in 2015 after being found abandoned in a car. He was about 5 months old and raised around dogs, so he grew up thinking he was one—running, trilling, and playing differently than most cats. He lives with me, my partner, and another cat, and has been my constant companion through every life change since. Jack is currently at Overland Park Veterinary Emergency & Specialty after suddenly struggling to breathe. X-rays show a collapsed lung, likely related to his long history of asthma. He requires oxygen support to survive right now. This is an emergency, and further testing and treatment are needed to determine if his lung can recover. Jack is a gentle, quirky soul who greets me with soft trills and wiggle tails. He’s shy at first but warms up with quiet curiosity, always coming to me for comfort. I’ve trained him to spin, sit, give head-boop kisses, and stretch up to grab my hand. He loves Cheez-Its and gives the most intense, full-body head boops. He’s my “Jack-bunny,” my little pumpkin prince, and my emotional anchor. This emergency comes after months of financial strain, including supporting my household alone, a recent car theft, and preparing for our first child. I want to give Jack every chance to survive, but I cannot afford the life-saving care he urgently needs.

Magnolia is a Jack Russell / Pit Mix kill shelter rescue, who was abandoned after having puppies at ~ 2 age. After adopting her in 2015, she quickly became my soul dog. 11 years later, she still has the playful energy of a much younger dog and is my whole heart. In summer 2025, Lia developed a rapidly growing mass in her mouth and was diagnosed with oral cancer. She underwent radiation and did incredibly well, but treatment exceeded $10,000. Eight months later, a new mass has appeared in a new area. She is being cared for by the amazing staff at Bay State Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Services. Lia is the heart of our home. You can find her burying a treat for later, or always sitting right in the middle of the room to keep a loving eye on all her humans. She adores her Lambchop toy, gets excited for every “W” (walk), and never turns down a good snuggle. She’s still full of life, love, and joy, and I want to give her every chance to keep living it. Lia beat this once, and we know she can again. With the new mass, we need to act quickly while it’s small for the best chance for treatment. After losing her sibling just a month ago, she’s our last pup and we want soak in every loving minute we can with her.

Sweet senior boy Wuffie is finally settling into his foster home, but he’s facing a tough hurdle. He has been struggling with a major chronic UTI that’s causing frequent accidents. This poor old man has been through so much, and right now he needs a little extra help (and a lot of love) to get comfortable and start healing. His amazing fosters are doing everything they can, but they urgently need supplies like to help with cleanup and keep Wuffie’s space safe and comfortable. Wuffie also needs nutritious food to help rebuild his strength and support his recovery. Every donation truly makes a difference for him. His foster’s priority right now is getting Wuffie healthy enough to get surgery for his enlarged prostate. We are hoping a simple neuter surgery will resolve most of his current problems.
