Mando was rescued from a very abusive situation. He didn't trust anything or anyone, understandably, when my son brought him to me. He was very guarded & it took some time but once he knew he was safe & could be content, his personality shined bright. Despite what he went through he is so sweet & loving. He is so spoiled now & he knows he's mommas boy. Mando is in an emergency situation. He just lays curled up & cries in pain and threw up bile today.His blood work shows anemia &Hes doesn't want to hardly get up because he's weak. Ferguson's Animal hospital said he needs x-rays ASAP to see if he has a blockage, and also determine the next steps in getting him better. They want to see him when they open today, & I have no way to pay for the xrays Mando is very special to me. He isn't just a dog. He is my child, my best friend. He has been right by my side through some very hard times. I finally left a very abusive marriage, leaving everything behind starting over. We are all each other have. My heart breaks when I look in his eyes because when he needs me the most I'm not financially able to be there for him and help him get better. I recently applied for disability and I am waiting on the decision. I left an abusive marriage leaving everything behind & starting over. I'm trying to get back up on my feet but it's been so hard. Dallas is a 9-year-old Pit Bull Terrier I rescued after finding him living with a homeless individual in over 100-degree Texas heat. I've had him for about a week and plan to give him a permanent home. He now lives with me as the only pet, where he is finally safe, loved, and receiving the care he desperately needed. Dallas is receiving treatment through Vetco Total Care in Frisco, Texas. He tested positive for heartworm disease and was also diagnosed with a skin infection and severely dry elbows from prolonged neglect. He has started medications, completed his vaccinations, and now faces an estimated $3,100+ heartworm treatment plan. Despite everything Dallas has endured, he is incredibly gentle and affectionate. He loves being close to people, enjoys toys, gets along well with dogs, cats, and children, and simply wants to feel safe. Watching him learn to trust again has created an incredible bond, and I can't imagine giving up on him now. I am a full-time college student entering my final year of architecture school. I rescued Dallas knowing he deserved a second chance, but his unexpected heartworm treatment exceeds what I can afford. Any assistance will help me give him the healthy future he deserves.

Tara is a 10 year old Belgian Shepherd Dog (Malinois) in Mico, TX, who needs $11,565 for Splenectomy w/Gastropexy.

Tara came to us as a puppy from a breeder, but came directly from Europe a little over 10yrs ago and has been our trained service dog ever since. She lives with us in the San Antonio, TX. We named her Tara because she is also protection K9 trained. About 5 years ago she nearly died delivering her only litter of puppies, but her ancient bloodline is a gift from nature. Tara is a 10-year-old Belgian Malinois. On July 25 her abdomen swelled and she began breathing fast and shallow. Two clinics that day confirmed internal bleeding from a ruptured mass on her spleen or liver. Bloodwork showed her red cell count at 29%, below the 37% normal floor. She is now at BluePearl Pet Hospital in San Antonio for ultrasound, stabilization, and surgery. This is an emergency. Tara is our service dog — she alerts me to low blood sugar, braces me on stairs, and she helps me with other mobility problems. She's a side sleeper who rolls onto her back when she feels safe, and she takes food from my wife's hand. Even bleeding internally this weekend, she walked outside on her own, then fell asleep dreaming with her paws running. She's a provider, protecror, and loves us. We are a disabled military family on a fixed income with little to no emergency fund. This bill arrived with no warning, as life does. Tara is not just our dog, she is our working service dog — we depend on her daily. Having her home and healthy means our family stays whole.

Moose came back to us after a couple of yrs. He is a happy energetic dog little dog who believes he is a big dog. He can give hugs for what we have taught him, he loves kayaking with my son and I. He has his older sister he is back with as well as two big dogs and a medium sized dog, who he runs. When Moose a few months old he broke his leg after an accident with prior home. My son and I came home on Saturday and could not find Moose after letting him out and then my son found him hiding in the bathroom with his eye out of his socket. I spent all nightat the eye emergency vets and she said they can’t put it back in, he will need to have eye surgery to remove it and he will be blind. Moose loves people, he is a spunky little guy. He runs around outside hangouts with the chickens, plays with the other dogs. He will come up to us and wrap his head around our necks and goes back and forth we taught him that’s giving hugs. He likes to curl up under their blankets and sleep right next to you. I am on a fixed income due to an injury of my own a few years ago. I work the hours I am able to do with my job but that is not enough. The surgery is around 7k and I do not have that. I am trying to find grants to help as well. Getting support would mean the world to me.

i adopted Kiba when he was 4 months old from a cruel man selling puppies on craigslist, While we were talking about the pups, the tiny runt of the litter wobbled over and was nibbling on the end of his shoelace so he kicked him down the stairs right in front of me, while carrying on in the conversation as if i hadn't seen what he did. In that moment i knew i couldn't leave him with this man. Kiba developed 3 ocular diseases during his 7yrs of life: Pannus, Progressive Retinal Atrophy, and most recently Glaucoma, which has proven to be resistant to medication. Due to increasing pressure in his eyes (left: 25-26mmHg /right: 63mmHg) Dr. Lori Hill @ Shelton Veterinary clinic - Interlachen advised an enucleation surgery of his right eye was necessary. Kiba isn't just a dog. He's my family. He carried me through the unimaginable loss after my dad took his own life. He gave me a reason to get out of bed each day and never let me feel alone. He didn't just change my life. He saved it armed only with goofy head tilts, dramatic heavy sighs, tiny tail thumps, and determined nose boops. He kept me going. we live paycheck to paycheck making just enough money for all of the bills, saving the rest each month to cover the cost of the medications for Kiba's eyes. I would give everything i have to stop the pain in his eyes and care for him, as he has done for me all these years.

Mochi is just 8 weeks old, but this tiny puppy is already facing a terrifying battle. She was found alongside her brother and is now showing severe neurological symptoms. Mochi appears to be partially blind, can barely walk, and remains in critical condition. U.S. Dog Coalition & Rescue took her to the vet, and they are concerned that she could have distemper, although her test results are still pending. Other possibilities include a serious infection or inflammation, but right now, they simply don't know what is causing her condition. What they do know is that Mochi is still fighting—and she desperately needs us to fight alongside her. They've already spent nearly $3,000 on emergency and veterinary care to give this little girl a chance. Her treatment and monitoring will continue as they work to uncover what's happening and hopefully get her stable, which will also increase the vet bills. Mochi is only a baby. She deserves the chance to grow up, play, and experience the happy life she has barely had the opportunity to begin. Rose and her best friend, Dorothy, were left inside a box at a local park before being taken to an overcrowded California shelter. Both senior girls were suffering from painful upper respiratory infections, and in the extreme heat, their tiny bodies struggled just to keep going. When Bichon Rescue Brigade welcomed both girls into their care, they discovered years of neglect hidden beneath Rose’s sweet face. Her eyes had been completely sealed shut with thick discharge, making it nearly impossible for her to see. Her nails had grown painfully long, and her mouth was filled with advanced dental disease. She still has a long road ahead - Rose needs bloodwork, continued treatment for her upper respiratory infection, and a complete dental procedure to remove painful diseased teeth and restore her comfort. In the sweltering summer heat, the two frightened little dogs waited together, both battling painful upper respiratory infections and years of heartbreaking neglect. When they both finally reached safety with Bichon Rescue Brigade, the extent of Dorothy’s suffering became clear. Her eyes were sealed shut with infection, her tiny body was covered in painfully overgrown nails, and her mouth showed severe dental disease. But Dorothy’s greatest challenge is the large mammary mass she carries—a painful reminder that she has gone far too long without medical care. She’ll need bloodwork, diagnostics, and surgery to determine whether the mass can be safely removed and to give her the best chance at a healthier future. Lunas original owner from past relationship actually is incarcerated. He left Luna with my gf, and she promised she would take care of her until he got out. Well we are not really sure what is going on but we googled the symptoms and I am going to list what came back (Possibilities). These are the drastic changes she has started showing in past month. She pees uncontrollably. She is always dehydrated and its like she cant get enough water. She is constantly panting and its like no matter how much food she eats its never enough. Like I her original owner went to prison and my gf agreed and promised him she would look after her, although from what I was told by her; he really didin't treat Luna well and kept her confined in a small space 24-7. Like Luna is a blessing. She does a lot for me as far as for me, especially for support for my mental health. She is a great dog. She listens with no hesitation, and loves people. We are currently not working. She is preparing for treatment, and I am a fulltime college student. Like it breaks my heart that she is going through this and I cant help her. I mean I am willing to do whatever to get her healthy. She means a lot to both of us.
