I have had Roxie for 12 years, she came into my life after I moved to ND with my husband I had no family or friends and was very lonely, my husband worked very long hours as a truck driver he gifted me a puppy when he saw how depressed I was. She was truly a blessing, my husband and i split at the same time I lost my mother so i moved back to Texas Roxie by my side every step of the way., Roxie has never had health issues and i thank God every day, but she recently started losing her teeth, i took her to the vet, it was suggested he teeth should be removed. I could not commit to the procedure due to the loss of my job but now her lower gums are swollen like maybe a tooth broke off, i know she must be in pain but she is a brave little dog I love Roxie so much and can’t imagine life without her, she has been with me during my lowest moments always happy and playful i believe she is an Angel in doggie form. She doesn’t deserve to have any pain or suffering. I pray her dental issues have not affected her organs like the vet described. I lost my job recently and alone in a place i don’t have family or friends. I am actively searching for employment, i recently turned 60 and I’m worried i won’t be able to support myself, Roxie is so important to me i would do anything to have her better.

Seko

Seko is a 4 year old French Bulldog in Los Angeles, CA, who needs $5,000 for Neurological MRI and Spinal Tap.

I rescued Seko about 9 months ago from heartbreaking, terrible conditions. Despite his rough past, this sweet French Bulldog learned to trust and became my whole world. He isn't just a pet; he is my child. He now shares a safe, loving home with his inseparable sibling, Sevlo. Watching Seko finally experience a happy life is my greatest joy. My world stopped when Seko suddenly lost his balance and couldn't walk. We rushed him to Dr. Jeremy O'Neill at Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital (MASH). He suspects a severe brain inflammation or vestibular issue. Seko desperately needs a specialized MRI and a spinal tap to get a definitive diagnosis and the right treatment, but the emergency costs are overwhelming. Seko has a beautiful spirit that lights up any room. Even now, while struggling with his balance and vertigo, he tries so hard to be his usual loving self. He is the ultimate cuddle bug. His bond with his brother Sevlo is incredibly pure; Sevlo knows something is wrong and stays right by his side. Seko is a fighter, and I just want my happy, playful boy back. This sudden $5,000+ emergency MRI expense hit me hard. I have no emergency fund, and my medical credit applications were denied. Seeing my sweet rescued boy healthy and walking alongside his brother Sevlo again would mean the absolute world to me.

My Charly came with his name. He was adopted and returned. I rescued him, have been together 7 years. He is for the most part black lab. He loves his cat and everyone he meets. He is the official doorbell. Welcome all! He is a sweet, loving pup. Plays with joy in his heart. Doesn’t run, but flys with a big silly grin on his face. Favorite subject is food! Favorite thing to do, camping. Love him!! Charly has a soft tissue sarcoma on his left front foot. Our Vet informed us that the remedy will require surgical removal of the tumor, including amputation of toes. Dr. Justyn Rizzardi DVM at Banfield Pet Hospital. I am hoping for favorable outcome to get Charly flying again! Charly, Chuck, Charles, Black fuzzy butt, etc. is special. He is a “dog’s dog” As a soulmate, you can’t get any better. Just to be near you and love you is his goal in life. He doesn’t have many dislikes. Only likes rain if we can play in it.. Does love a good snow storm. Obeys every command that he wants to. Camping is our bonding time. Freedom to fly, and hog all of the blankets in the tent!! I was unfortunate to be injured at work in 1983. I have been struggling with chronic pain, and now heart failure. Worked full time, couldn’t save. I live on fixed income and medical bills never end. Charly means everything to me. I can’t let his live be ruined by this cancer

Teddy

I never grew up with dogs and was afraid of them due to OCD. As part of challenging myself, I touched a dog for the first time, which inspired me to adopt during COVID. I contacted many rescues and was sent a photo of a 2-month-old puppy found abandoned with siblings. I drove 4 hours round-trip to meet him and knew he was the one. I adopted him and named him Teddy. He is now 5 years 10 months. This past Wednesday night, my dog Teddy was struck by a car in a hit-and-run. We rushed him to the pet ER. He suffered a possible traumatic brain injury, lung contusions, and was initially unable to walk. He is now in ICU receiving oxygen and neurology care at Garden State Veterinary Services. Thankfully, he is alert, moving his legs, and doctors are very hopeful for a full recovery. Teddy isn’t just a pet—he’s my emotional support animal, my constant companion, & my best friend. He has been by my side through some of the hardest moments of my life, comforting me when I struggle, staying close when I cry, & snuggling with me every night. He loves peanut butter & chicken, and although he hates having his teeth brushed, he’ll happily lick the toothpaste just to make me laugh. I’ve been struggling with my mental health for the last few years and I haven’t been able to work. Teddy has been a crucial part of my recovery. Sadly, my family can’t support me financially, and my resources are so limited. Your support would mean the world to me.

When we first got Scarlett from a friend we were not expecting to have a dog in our home. I came by surprise and we could not pass her by. She was the cutest Siberian husky mix I have ever seen. Over the years I have grown to be real attached to her devoting all my emotional time to her. 3 years ago she diagnosed with a fatty tumor that need to be removed to save her life. And do the course of 3 years she has grown three more. With the experience that we had with the first one but no is very important to get these removed as well. My dog's name is Scarlett she is a very loving fun dog. She gets along with almost everybody. She's so well behaved and just a pleasure to be around. She always makes us laugh. Reasoning my boyfriend had an accident which involves multiple surgeries has been out of work and I have been working odd jobs to make it. Had a hard time to save up the money for her surgery.

Born on a quiet Sunday in mid-April, Chunk made a stealthy entrance into the world right on our friend's daughter’s bed without even waking her. From day one, he knew what he wanted, always standing first in line for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Though he was the last of his litter to be chosen, destiny saved the best for last. My husband and I saw him and knew he was the perfect pup for us. We were out in the front yard taking a potty break and I went inside to grab him a bowl of water. Suddenly I heard him whimpering in pain so I rushed outside and saw an adult dog attacking him mulling him so I ran over I was able to get them apart I noticed that he was bleeding from his side and from his belly so I immediately rushed him to the nearest vet college Hill animal hospital. Chuck is so special to us he is rambunctious and fun-loving and anyone who meets him falls in love with his charm he's cute, cuddly and very smart. An amazing addition to our family. The past year has been really hard for us in November of last year we were victims of a rental scam. We are just now after being homeless and living in a tent are getting on our feet. And Chuck was a blessing to us to help us feel like we are home again.

My little man's name is Oscar. He was a gift from my ex when my mother passed away. He's what helped me get through that. He's more like my son than my pet. I love this little guy. More than anything in the world. I call him my little man and bubba. That's his nickname. Bubba! We need help with a hospital bill. He was attacked by a dog and hurt pretty bad. We're at the hospital with him right now. We are not sure yet what is going to take to take care of him but we know that it's going to cost more that we have cuz his back right leg is probably broken and his hip may be dislocated. He's got lacerations that needs stitches. Oscar definitely has a unique personality like he doesn't realize he's a dog. He thinks he's human. He has his own chair he sits in. He wears clothes. The dog even gets in the bathtub with me. I take him everywhere I go. He rides in a buggy. Every time we go shopping I would literally be lost without him and he's so sweet and loving in gentle that dog would do anything to protect me I am currently out of work. My husband passed away a few years ago and things have been really hard on me since then. Just trying to make ends meet and I lost my mother couple years ago as well so it's really just me and Oscar. He's all I have. I can't lose him too

Three years ago, Dill was given a second chance at life. He and his littermates were found abandoned in a bucket inside a dumpster in the U.S. Virgin Islands when they were only a few days old. Thanks to an incredible rescue organization and volunteers, Dill was flown to the United States, where he found his forever home with our family. After months of occasional limping that would come and go, Dill was diagnosed with a torn cranial cruciate ligament in his knee. Our veterinarian determined that he needs TPLO surgery to regain his mobility and prevent further damage. Without surgery, he is at high risk of tearing the ligament in his other knee because he has already been overcompensating, and muscle loss has begun in his in injur Dill has become the sweetest, most loyal member of our family. He's our gentle giant—the dog who is somehow terrified of the wind but would do anything to protect the people he loves. He loves long walks, trips to the dog park, and being the best little big brother to our Shih Tzu. Earlier this year, I unexpectedly lost my job. We've spent countless hours researching affordable surgical options and have found an orthopedic surgeon two hours from home who can perform the surgery for $3,600—nearly $1,000 less than our local option.
