Bianca was rescued from a shelter in February 2024, when she was two months old; she had three siblings, and she was the smallest and the one with the lightest coat (hence her Italian name which means "white" or "pure"). We decide to find her a companion in Dec 24' at the same shelter, Charlie he was already 6 months old and we chose to keep his name, as he already responded to it Bianca has a cranial cruciate tear, which causes her big pain when walking due to increased joint laxity; this results in greater instability during lateral and circular movements. We don't know exactly what happened, the injury developed gradually: first we noticed she was walking "funny" and then she began to limp. Doctor said could be genetic or result of some roughplay. Ennis Veterinary Clinic Bianca's best friend is our other dog Charlie, they have an incredible bond which is very sweet to watch, she loves to get in the water and all toys even when they don't last her more than 20min, she's obsessed with my husband (definitely her person), she loves attention and being petted so she makes sure our visits pet her as soon as they walk in, the main character of the house and a sweet girl I'm currently unemployed, my husband covers all expenses and groceries only with his salary, we have no other income, we love Bianca and we want her to have the best quality of life;to achieve that, she needs this surgery. Receiving help for her would mean everything for us!

Annie

Annie is a 12 year old Mix-Breed in Fresno, CA, who needs $2,500 for Pyometra Surgery.

I had Annie's mother and so when she was born I was right there and that was on October 31, 2014. Since the day she was born Annie and I have been together and as much as I need her she needs me. We both have seperation anxiety and absolutely dislike not being with one another. Right now Annie and I are in a homeless shelter program trying to get back on our paws.. I thought she had a mass tumor as her nipple is three times the normal size. When i took her to the vet they said that is the least of my worries and that they think she has Pyometra but the only was to tell that is with bloodwork, xrays and an ultrasound which i cant afford. The treating hospital is blue pearl pet hospital. Annie and I are literally two peas in a pod. In the last 12 years i have had a handfull of times where we werent together and those were hard for both of us. I taught her to spoon with me so when we sleep she sleeps in front of me and i put my arm under her front leg and hold her. She loves kayaking, playing with the fish I catch anything I do she somehow finds a way to be involved. We became homeless now we are in a homeless shelter going through the different stages with the end result a place of our own. She is my whole world and it would mean the absolute world to me to get her healthy again as she isnt just my dog shes my best friend.

I met Zeus at a Halloween party in 2016. He was my niece’s pup. She asked if I could watch him for a couple of months because he wasn’t allowed at her home. I said no problem. That dog became my everyday. He slept next to me. We walked the woods together — the same woods he walked with my daddy. I lost my dad five years ago. Zeus and I moved into a camper, and he has been my ride or die, my soul Zeus is a 7-year-old, 112lb Shepherd/Husky mix. Four days ago he began having difficulty standing and walking. By day two he was collapsing on his rear end and could not support his weight. I took him to Ozark Veterinary Clinic in Willard, Missouri on [insert date]. Exam showed normal temperature and heartbeat. Vet prescribed carprofen and Movoflex once daily for pain and joint support. The vet su Zeus is a gentle giant. He avoids any and all confrontation, and most people that know him have never heard him bark. He loves head scratches more than anything, and he really loves those Dogsters ice cream treats. He doesn't have a favorite toy. He doesn't play fetch or any of that. He's an old man now at 7, and his whole world is being with me. He walked the woods with my daddy before I lost him I'm disabled and on a fixed income of just under $900 per month, which has to cover both Zeus and me. I spent $176 on his vet visit this week, and that was our food budget for the rest of the month. I have nothing left for the $2,500 to $3,500 MRI he needs. I know Zeus is 10

Aiko Haru

When Aiko first came into our lives on May 19th, she was just a six-month-old puppy abandoned in a box on the side of the freeway. My mother spotted her while driving and safely rescued her before bringing her home. Shortly after, Aiko suddenly became very sick. She began vomiting and had bloody diarrhea and couldn't eat or drink. All local vets were closed for Memorial Day except for the Animal Emergency and Specialty Center of Northwest Arkansas(AES). From May 22nd through May 27th, Aiko was hospitalized and treated for Acute Hemorrhagic Diarrhea Syndrome (AHDS). She required IV's, medication, and surgery. On May 12th our dog of 12 years Kiba passed away, only days before Aiko came into our lives. We see Kiba's eyes when we see Aiko. We believe Kiba lead Aiko to us. Both dogs were rescued from tragic situations. In Aiko we see Kiba, her sweet and shy demeanor, her verbal exchanges, and her endearing love of her family. We love Aiko deeply just as we loved Kiba before her. Just days after paying Kiba's final vet bill Aiko came into our lives and required emergency medical treatment for several days. This treatment saved her live, but her extended stay resulted in substantial medical bills. Any contribution would mean the world to us.

I am a dog mom and this baby here is rover he is 3 years old. Rover was born being the only pup his mom had in the litter. When he was a baby we didnt think he would walk because he was so chunky being a only pup. He was very unexpected because we had just took his mother on remote circumstance. Rover is the light of our lives me and my son's wouldn't know what we would do without him. His pancreas blood work has come back with something wrong with his pancreas I have noticed he's been throwing up. With this being said his back thigh has started swelling and he keeps licking his paws along with he keeps vomiting. I am not able to take him in of being single mother of 2 and than making sure this sweet baby is not in any pain please help anything helpsnm Rover looks after his family very well his is protective. He loves to play fetch. When we wake up he makes us feel so protected. This fog is trues ka I am letting hoping that someone can help get his conditions under control. We don't want to see our baby under the weather and being so sick. He's been vomiting for a week now and a lump on his back thigh that is thanks or everything that this program has to offer.

Macy is the sweetest little girl, who just turned 4 years old in May. We’re a house full of girls that includes my daughter, 3 granddaughters and myself. Macy clearly loves all of us, but she chooses to sleep with me every night. I think she does this because she wakes me up at night, if my blood sugar drops too low. She loves meeting new people and is a lover of all people. Macy is being treated by Lovet Animal Hospital, for eye swelling of her left eye. She had bloodwork done for valley fever, which was negative. Her results showed that she’s anemic, elevated inflammation markers and elevated liver enzymes. The vet wants her to have an ultrasound of her liver ($850) and a CT scan of her head ($2100). She’s taking an antibiotic, a painkiller and appetite stimulant. Macy was never trained to be a service dog, and I’m a Type 1 diabetic. In the middle of the night, if my blood sugar level drops too low, Macy will wake me up by whimpering or crying. She’s literally been my life saver, on more than one occasion. She’s playful and spunky, and she loves to dance and twirl on her hind legs for treats. We’re still trying to recover financially from a car accident in October, and the other driver was at fault. My daughter and I are the only ones supporting our family and she doesn’t receive any child support or assistance. I’m also a T1 diabetic with medical expenses.

My mom had gotten me max as a gift for my 14th birthday. i was so happy i cried. He was 8 weeks old when we got him and he could fit in the palm of my hand. My dad became disabled a few years ago so i moved in with him to become his full time care giver and support his needs and rent. Im a student/working as a server so its hard. But my dad and max love eachother so much, they are inseparable. max’s condition is very hard to figure out. we have gone to multiple doctors and done multiple tests but we can’t figure it out. we did a heart ultrasound, blood work, x-rays, fecal check, almost everything except a MRI and a liver ultrasound. these 2 things we need to check but we don’t have the funds. we have already spent over $2500 and they couldn’t figure out anything with those tests. when max isn’t going thru his episodes he’s the happiest dog, loves to play and wants u to chase him. when he goes through these episodes he becomes completely limp and pretty much paralyzed as seen in the video i uploaded. his tongue turns blue and he stays limp for a few minutes to over an hour, and then he comes out of it like it never happened. but these episodes have become more frequent. i’m trying to help support my disabled dad and keep a roof over our head. i’m 23 and trying to do school/work things have been getting so expensive no matter how much i work it’s not enough.and after paying all these tests for max it’s been hard. but he means the world to us

Felony (“Felly”) came into our lives as a temporary 30-day foster after her owner’s needed to seek medical treatment and she needed a safe place to stay. After her owner recovered and took her back, it became clear to her that caring for a nearly 100pound senior dog was becoming too difficult. One week later, we were asked to take her back permanently, and my boyfriend and I happily adopted her. Years ago, Felony lost one eye after a stun grenade exploded near her face during a law enforcement raid at a home where she lived. Despite that trauma, she has lived a happy, active life. Now a cyst is threatening the vision in her remaining eye. We are seeking help to preserve the sight she has left through surgery so she can continue enjoying the world around her. Despite weighing nearly 100 pounds, Felony is one of the gentlest and sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. She loves children, beach trips, car rides, cuddling, people-watching in the sun, and spending time with her family. If a child approaches her, she’ll often lay completely flat on the ground so she won’t seem intimidating. She brings joy, comfort, and love everywhere she goes. Felly is family, and we’ve never hesitated to provide for her needs. Since adopting her, weve spent over $3,500 on food, treats, medications, supplements, and supplies. We gladly do it because we love her but this unexpected eye surgery is more than we can manage on our own

Ronan

Ronan is a sweet, wonderful dog who came to me from our local animal shelter when I was wallowing at home alone during the pandemic. He was a stray and had been adopted out once, but the family couldn't keep him. It was a lucky day for me when his photo turned back up in the "available dogs" list. He is ridiculously cuddly and amazingly "talkative" and having him here is important to my health. Ronan is being treated by Friendship Animal Hospital in Washington, DC for an anomaly in his urinary tract that has created a life-threatening situation where he can't empty his bladder. When he can pee normally, he's a vibrant, healthy young dog. When he can't, he risks an unpleasant death within 24-48 hours. He needs a procedure to adjust the stent placed in April that saved him then. Ronan is a wonderful companion. He likes to be where we are and to cuddle up against us. I battle with depression, and having his support really helps my mental health. He loves taking walks and wrestling with my boys when they visit, and he is absolutely adorable when he wants something - he does little jumps and head tosses and "talks" to let us know. He has rescued us as much as we did him. My job was downsized, and the job market has been AWFUL. I am carrying the full cost of lifesaving treatments Ronan had in Mar/April while appealing denials from his insurance. He urgently needs a second procedure that I cannot afford. I can't have him die cause I'm broke.
