Lando

Lando is a 10 year old Mix-Breed in Sugar Land, TX, who needs $1,994 for CHOP Protocol.

Sugar Lando, TX

Lando, my 10-year-old Boxer/Bulldog mix, was rescued from a shelter after surviving a gunshot wound. He now lives with me and his Husky-type brother, Solo, in Sugar Land, Texas. Lando recently completed 13 weeks of CHOP chemotherapy for T-cell lymphoma and is in remission. Despite also managing a CCL tear, he remains active, enjoys daily walks, naps with Solo, and receives attentive home care. Lando, my 10-year-old Boxer/Bulldog mix, is receiving treatment at the Animal Cancer Center of the Woodlands. He recently completed 13 weeks of CHOP chemotherapy for T-cell lymphoma and is currently in remission. In addition, he is managing a CCL tear with medication and controlled exercise. His regular veterinary care is provided by Foster Creek Veterinary Hospital for ongoing support. Lando is special because he has shown incredible resilience and joy despite many challenges. Rescued after surviving a gunshot wound, he continues to live with love, strength, and playfulness. Even while battling lymphoma and a CCL tear, he greets each day with tail wags, cuddles, and curiosity, inspiring everyone around him with his bravery and unshakable spirit. Lando’s insurance was dropped, and the only new policy offered cost $5,201 a year for just $5,000 in coverage—an impossible expense. I’m covering care out of pocket, but costs are overwhelming. Support means Lando can continue treatment, stay healthy, and share more time wit

Keke

Keke is a 13 year old American Shorthair in Hudson, NC, who needs $500 for Buprenorphine, Mirtazapine, and Fluid Therapy.

Hudson, NC

KeKe came into your life long before she understood what the word home meant. She is now 13 but came to us as a months old kitten. She was not aware how to eat, so we had to bottle feed her for the first few months. We also taught her how to stay warm and use the litter box. She has proceeded to teach us about love over these 13 years, our first pet together as a married couple. Keke started acting strange one afternoon and then had an accident while sitting on my wife's lap. She the began to act extremely lethargic and her stomach swelled very large. After arriving at the ER vet the outcome was found the be pancreatitis. The case was so severe she was kept overnight for fluids, medicine, and monitoring at Carolina Animal Specialty & Emergency in Hickory, NC. KeKe is special in the way only a rescue who grew up loved can be — she carries her history, her quirks, and her gratitude in every little thing she does. KeKe doesn’t just meow; she speaks. Her sounds have meaning — the short chirp when she greets us, the drawn-out meow when she wants attention, the soft trill when she’s excited. The unfortunate event of her situation being so bad that she had to stay overnight is a major unexpected expense. It would mean relief after days and weeks of worry. That moment when you realize you can breathe again because she’s comfortable.

Charlie

Charlie is a 11 year old Bird in Brooklyn, NY, who needs $950 for Feather Follicle Cyst Removal and Treatment.

Brooklyn

Eleven years ago, I found Charlie flying outside my apartment building. My plan was to rescue him and bring him to a pet store, but I fell in love with his sweet personality and couldn’t let him go. Back then I was a single young woman. Today, I’m married with three children, and Charlie has been by my side through every chapter of my life. He truly is family. Charlie urgently needs an avian veterinarian. He has developed a painful swelling on the left side of his neck and shoulder and is showing signs that he is in pain. Although he is still eating and drinking, birds often hide illness until they are critically sick. Without emergency specialized care, we fear we could lose him. We are raising funds so we can get him seen as quickly as possible. Charlie has always been the heartbeat of our home. Every morning he fills our house with cheerful songs and playful chatter that bring smiles to our family. For the past several weeks, that joyful music has been replaced with silence, and it has been heartbreaking. Our children adore him, and he has been a faithful companion through every season of my life. Our home simply isn’t the same without h My husband and I have dedicated our lives to serving others through our nonprofit organization. In 2024, my husband was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and we now rely solely on his disability income while raising our family of five in a one-bedroom apartment. We simply c

Riley

Riley is a 11 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Hagerstown, MD, who needs $5,000 for Lower Urinary Tract Disease.

Hagerstown, MD

Riley has been part of our family since she was just 9 weeks old. My son raised her from a puppy, and she grew up surrounded by love. When he relocated to another state and could no longer care for her, I stepped in without hesitation. Since then, Riley has been right by my side. She’s not just a pet, she’ my grand puppy. She’s been a constant companion, bringing love, comfort, and joy. What we initially thought was a simple urinary tract infection has turned into something much more concerning. Riley was taken to Banfield pet hospital, twice. Both times, she was given antibiotics. What once was a trace of blood has now become more, issues with holding her urine. She he urgently needs diagnostic testing and treatment to determine what’s wrong and how to help her. She grew up side by side with her human sister, Naomi, who is now 5 years old. The two of them were inseparable. Wherever Naomi was, Riley was right there with her. She would gently lay her head on Naomi while she slept, like she was keeping watch over her. When Naomi was little, Riley would crawl along the floor with her, matching her pace, playing and staying close like a true companion. At the present time, I’m barely making ends meet. Since COVID, my rent has increased by $400, which has made it difficult to handle unexpected expenses like this. Veterinary care, testing, and possible treatment costs are quickly adding up.

Jynx

Jynx is a 4 year old Mix-Breed in Billings, MT, who needs $300 for Fluorescein Stain, Corneal Ulcer or Acute Conjunct.

Billings, MT

Jynx isn’t just a cat; she’s my hero. I found her 4 years ago, a tiny, helpless kitten tucked away inside the tires of my car. She was fading fast, and I spent those first weeks doing everything I could to save her life. Little did I know, she would end up saving mine. Jynx is 4 years old now and is truly the sweetest angel I’ve ever known. She’s my best friend and my constant shadow. Beyond the visible infection, Jynx is in a state of high distress. Based on the Feline Grimace Scale, her pain levels are severe. She is "loafing" in a hunched position, hiding from the light because she is photophobic, and her eyes are tightly squinted. This constant squinting is her body's way of protecting an extremely painful area, and it strongly suggests a corneal ulcer—a literal hole or dee Jynx is currently suffering from a severe, acute eye infection that has rapidly worsened over the last 24 hours. What began as mild irritation has escalated into a painful ocular crisis. She is experiencing thick, yellow/green discharge that requires cleaning every 20 minutes to keep her eye from matting shut I plan to take Jynx to one of the following trusted local billings clinch My financial situation has hit a breaking point. I live paycheck to paycheck, and at the exact moment Jynx’s eye took a turn for the worse, the transmission on my car blew. I am currently grounded without a vehicle and without the emergency funds to cover her medical bills.
