Aria Sophia

Aria Sophia is a 7 year old Standard Schnauzer in Buckeye, AZ, who needs $5,285 for Cystotomy + Urethrotomy.

Buckeye, AZ

Aria joined our family on March 19, 2019, after we lost our 12-year-old rescue, Peggy Sue. For my wife’s birthday, we found Aria at 5 weeks old. She instantly fit like a missing musical note alongside Oreo Maria, our bossy rescue Shih Tzu. Aria loves endless touch, snuggles, and attention, happily making herself the absolute center of her own universe. Aria is incredibly stoic, but she suddenly stopped eating and had heavy bleeding. X-rays at Lovet Pet Health Care revealed her bladder is full of stones. She needs immediate surgery to open her bladder and remove them, followed by a lifetime prescription diet. She is strong but currently leaking chronically. I cannot bear the thought of losing her just because I can't afford to take care of her. Aria was meant to be my wife's dog, and she quickly made me her dad. She is uniquely empathic, inquisitive, and intuitive. Aria is everyone's friend, reads the room instantly, and thoroughly investigates everyone she meets from head to toe. She's never met a human that she doesn't love. She loves my grandchildren (especially their snacks), and goes through torture willingly. Truly impressive. On a fixed income w/no emergency fund. This sudden medical crisis is devastating. I am still healthy and eager to wrk or mk pmts to anyone who can help. I give you my word as a U.S. Marine. Giving Aria 6 to 7 more years is just a good thing. You're donation goes to the vet.

Bayley

Bayley is a 7 year old Boston Terrier in Indianapolis, IN, who needs $2,000 for Cystotomy Surgery for Bladder Stones.

Indianapolis, IN

I got Bayley when she was six weeks old. She was with breeder and her living situation wasn’t the best. She is now 8 years old. Bayley has become my best friend; she knows when I am having a rough day. She is also a sister to another Boston terrier (he is 7 years old) they are best friends. She knows what to do to make me feel better. For Bayley her name just fits her perfectly and throughout own I am looking for assistance in getting Bayley the surgery she needs to remove bladder stones. She is very uncomfortable right now. To me and help what be greatly appreciated. She is my baby and she means the world to me. I would do anything for her. Seeing her just not being playful makes me very sad. She just brightens my day and her brother and her always greets me at the door when I return home She has a best friend named Brody that she lives with. She loves treats, getting all the attention and loves the outdoors. She is afraid of storms, especially thunder. She will either try to hide behind you or if there is a blanket she will go underneath. Bayley is just so lovable and being a lap dog to anyone that will let her sit. She also loves to lick. Her personality wants to just be loved on This last year has been rough. I got divorced and lost half of my financial support. I have been trying to pay my bills. Within the year I lost two of my siblings and had to take two trips home (upstate New York). I have not been able to get a emergency fund created.

Dex

Dex Needs Lifesaving Heartworm Treatment

Fairfax, VA • Homeward Trails Animal Rescue

Dex was discarded near the woods and left to survive completely on his own. He’s just a tiny little guy, and when he was found, his fur was so severely matted that it all had to come off. It breaks our hearts to imagine how long he had been neglected, scared, and alone. We truly don’t know how such a small dog managed to survive out there by himself. But somehow, Dex did. He survived being abandoned. He survived the neglect. He survived being left to fend for himself when he should have been safe, loved, and cared for. Now that Dex is with Homeward Trails Animal Rescue, he finally has people fighting for him. But sadly, his fight isn’t over yet. Dex is heartworm positive. Without treatment, heartworm disease can be deadly. Dex will need antibiotics and heartworm injections to save his life. This treatment is essential, but it is also expensive, and Homeward Trails Animal Rescue needs your help to give Dex the care he so desperately deserves. Dex didn’t deserve to be discarded near the woods. He didn’t deserve the neglect that left his little body in such terrible condition. And after fighting so hard just to survive, he deserves every chance we can possibly give him. Please help us save Dex. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings him one step closer to receiving the lifesaving heartworm treatment he needs and one step closer to putting his painful past behind him. Someone failed Dex before he came to us. We refuse to let him down now. Please donate to Homeward Trails Animal Rescue and help give this little survivor the chance at the life and love that he should have had all along.
